We are located at the corner of Poway Road and Carriage Road in the Oak Knoll Square shopping center. Our store is clean and very well organized. All of our cooler doors are labeled with the name of the contents located in each door so you can quickly find what you are looking for and be on your way.
This liquor store has been in Poway for some 35+ years at this location. At one time, back around 2002 there was a nice deli inside this store. That deli was removed by the owner. We just opened the deli on 10/14/19. We not only have sandwiches, but we have a variety of salads including pasta salads, Cobb salads, Chef salads etc.

I don't drink alcohol, however I stopped by this place today to grab a quick lunch and had one of the best Turkey sandwiches of my life. The place is nice and clean. They sale lotteries and many essentials as well. Because the owner and her employees were super nice. I took a few pictures and will share them with you. I highly recommend their sandwich and the grab and go chicken salads and tuna salads.

I don't drink alcohol. I was visiting a friend in Poway and stopped by this place to have a quick lunch. I had Turkey with swiss cheese and avocado sandwich. I was quite impresse with the quality of their food and ingredients. This deli is the best keep secret in this neighborhood. It is very clean and orderly. I find out they offer delivery with doordash and are open 7 days a week. In addition they offer outdoor dining that's clean and pleasant.
This place also sale all kinds of lotteries and convenience store type of items for a quick stop by. I highly recommend you visiting this store and support

I stopped by Discount Tires on Poway Road to replace some worn tires on Monday (5/18). While waiting I decided to inquire about getting a bite to eat nearby. I was told Poway Liquor and Deli made good sandwiches but recommended calling before heading over because the deli is usually closed on Mondays.
So I called twice and left messages both times. The first time I called and left a message including my sandwich order. I called a half hour later and still got no response so I headed over to Donutopolis and ordered a sandwich made with Boar's Head meats. Yummy!

I was in Poway liquor today and noticed they now have a sandwich deli. All the meat is boar's head and I had never had it before and it's really tasty. My sandwich had generous amounts of meat and the bread was so fresh I really enjoyed it. There's a few tables and chairs and you can sit around and watch TV if you like. I'll be back.
