Angelica was a great server. I loved the atmosphere of this restaurant! Our server Highly recommend the red beans and rice, blackened catfish, and crab cakes and they did not disappoint! Unfortunately, we didn't have room for dessert so well definitely be back to try some bread pudding and the shrimp and okra!

Great location. Outside seating on the balcony. Great spot to watch all the action on the streets. Our waiter was very fun and upbeat. Delivered our food and drinks in a timely fashion. I'm going to be blatantly honest though. This was my first food stop in New Orleans. I got the jambalaya because I've been jonsin for some creole. This jambalaya was sad. Colorless. Warm, almost cold and barely any chicken and sausage. I normally only give 5 stars out to places but the food I got here was not impressive.

We ordered drinks and a quick appetizer. Service was very fast and friendly. We sat in the upstairs balcony. The jambalaya, red beans & rice, and gumbo was a nice start to our New Orleans vacation. Our waiter was very friendly and knowledgeable.

Apart from a nice street view you may have from the second floor balcony, there is nothing to do in this place.
We did not enjoy the food, it was bad.
The selection of drinks was limited, and the toilets were very dirty.
Like too many places in the French Quarter, Corner exists for tourists who come once and do not return.

So disappointing!! We are here for my cousin birthday. Did not have any Oysters so the deal is double on shrimp and catfish. They are serving people half of a catfish and claiming it to be a full piece of fish. Mind you the platter is $28. Instead of fish I asked for chicken strips instead. So my plate was supposed to come with double tenders and double shrimp. My plate comes out and it has two chicken tenders and shrimp. Ridiculous!!! Paid $35 including the tip because it was not the servers fault. Smh!

We lucked up on this place. It was the first spot we came across upon walking around. The restaurant we were looking for was closed, and I was starving - we walked in and was taken care of immediately. I highly recommend this place just from the rich history it contains. We had the fried alligator. Highly recommend! We also ordered the shrimp po' boy and the Cajun platter. They were okay. I will say the best thing about the visit - the history lesson, the appetizers and the wonderful service. The overall meal was good, although after the end of the trip I remembered those alligator bites. Oh and

Great seating and location. We stopped by on our travels down Bourbon St. The food was excellent. But the portion size was too small for the prices. Elliot was very kind and attended us efficiently. Overall a decent place. Probably won't go back though.

First time visitor to NOLA. We just happened to stop here to grab something to eat.
Y'ALL!
The fried chicken is the best fried chicken I've ever had. Do yourself a favor and order it!!!!!!!!
You also won't go wrong with the crab cakes or shirimp poboy.
It was so good we came back the second night.
The only reason I gave 4 starts vs 5 is: first night was super busy and we had great, quick, attentive service from the gentleman behind the bar. Night two: less busy and not attentive service from the lady behind the bar.
I would still come back for the food! Hands down!

Great experience! On a Saturday afternoon on the corner of Bourbon St, you'd expect a really long wait, but we were seated immediately which was so much more appealing after the night we had prior at Royal House (DO NOT RECOMMEND). We got balcony seats, the food was great, the service was attentive and friendly. The host was friendly, the manager came by and asked how everything was.. Everything that made the whole experience great. We had fried alligator for the first time (tastes like chicken! lol) and crab cakes so start and they were a good amount for my husband and I. My husband had the

Awesome atmosphere, great waitstaff. The food was tasty, well seasoned, however fell a bit short on variety. The bread was stale, not what I've come to expect from bread rising in such a humid environment. All in all, the meal was tasty.

Very very bad food.
We had the shrimp po'boys... aweful.
Flavorless, old crumbly bread, no tomato as it says in the description ... wish we never came here

We ordered the Cajun Platter and the Chicken Special. They were both ok. The chicken didn't have a lot of flavor but it was super crispy. The mashed potatoes were cold so I didn't eat them. The corn bread was good. My husband had the platter. He enjoyed it. The balcony view was gorgeous and we had no wait for a table.

Cornet, a casual restaurant, owned by a family who gave Louis Armstrong his first cornet. I primed my throat with a local pilsner and got the jubilee shrimp -spicy, buttery shrimp braised in wine, then fried and tossed in a sweet chili aioli sauce. The bartenders are straightforward and will tell you what's good, what's whatever.

Loved this place! The balcony was a perfect setting for some amazing Nola food. Our waitress, Cookie, was so lively and fun! We went back 2 days later and dined again! The gator bites, crawfish mac & cheese, the redfish and the blueberry hill cocktail were some of our favorites.

Worst drinks in New Orleans. Spicy Martini is a joke. No spice. No vodka. Food was good but the drinks were a disappointment and way overpriced for what you get. If you go...stick with beer.
