What happened to Barcadia? They should change the name to Clubcadia. Used to love going by this bar arcade for a nice draft beer and some games after work or just to sit and relax with friends. Went by after work the other day around 515pm which for most bars is happy hour. Not here. 😆. No draft beer on tap which stems from hurricane damage so it is what it is but my buddy ordered a double vodka and soda. $16!! Literally club prices at 515pm on a weekday. They did such a great job before of having it be a solid bar during the day and then a club like atmosphere at night but it appears they have

We were really excited to visit this place while we were in NOLA, as we love arcade bars. Once arriving, we were very underwhelmed by the small amount of games they had. We even looked around to make sure we weren't missing anything, thinking, 'that's it?'
Our visit was also about a month after Hurricane Ida, and they were not serving food at the time, which was completely understandable. Without food, though, we were entertained for about 10 minutes and ended up going somewhere else down the street.
I would love to return one day if they ever get a larger selection of

Didn’t have beer on tap, didn’t have ingredients for an Old Fashioned, and didn’t have much to offer. Nice environment but limited options. Great for doing tequila shots and forgetting you were out, but not the most sophisticated options. Whiskey sour tasted good though. Good late night bar. More comfortable layout than most of the surrounding ones. Seems to fit in well in the town.

Went with friends to celebrate a birthday lastnight. unfortunately the uneducated bouncer insisted my ID was fake because it was out of state, even when i had multiple other forms to prove my identity. he refused entry and broke my license in half. spoke to the woman they said was the manger and was told i could've paid him to get in. highly unprofessional and disappointing. won't be going back.

I like this place !! it's the best for anything... if u want to have a relaxed time at the bar you can, if u want to be dancing to the music u can, if u want to watch games u can if u want to play games u can. you can basically make it whatever u want it to be. the atmosphere is great and there's a huge selection of drinks. my only complaint is that in the evenings the bartenders & servers can be kind of slow, otherwise this place is a 10/10

First time in a place like this. Stopped in for a cold drink and to hide from the heat. Overall my family had a great experience playing on the arcade machines and taking part in the food and drinks. Wasn't impressed with the online ordering and the prices to food relation. I understand the need for the online ordering process due to current times, however it does take away from the overall experience.

41 minutes to cook a hotdog...
There are no words to describe how ridiculous this was. And to top it off the guy from the kitchen ARGUED over if the hotdog came with a bag of chips. Also, am I seriously supposed to drop a quarter into these games? What kind of "barcade" does this? If you're a club, fine. Don't serve food and don't have video games. And definitely don't call yourself BARCADIA.

Not an ideal place for a quick lunch, but it was close by and what we ultimately came up with. Well actually, we made it as far as sitting down, scanning the QR code for the menu, getting familiar with their contact-less ordering experience, and then decided it was a no-go. Just not my "type of hype" for lunch.

This is a cool bar located near Bourbon St.
They have interesting decor and fun arcade games.
I did not order anything from their liquor/cocktail selection, but I did order food and it was delicious.
I ordered a delicious burger and fries. It was so good.
Customer service was good.
I think you can only view the menu by scanning a QR code.
I'd probably return the next time I'm in the area.

We arrived into New Orleans late and need have a couple cold ones and eat. Thank goodness Barcadia was open!! Very welcoming and gals to have more customers join them. Food menu a little limited, however, our waitress recommended the wings and HOW they were awesome. They have a great smoke flavor and about 6 sauces abs ribs to choose from. We had she chipotle bbq , oh so good and the garlic Parmesan mouth watering. I will see them next tome I am back in town.

I visited during covid but I've also spent many evenings here in my 20s and 30s
Barcadia - half bar, half restaurant, half arcade. Barcadia has really grown its menu over the past few years and I am impressed by the amount of food they do well.
From cheese curds, to red beans and rice, Barcadia knows how to serve up a good time with both food and drinks.
One of my favorite things they do is the holiday pop ups. I've been for Mardi Gras and Christmas and both scenarios are so much fun!
This is a fun place for locals but tourists are welcome!

I traveled from San Diego with my teenage sons to show them life goes on during Covid. We were looking to create some fun during our stay in NOLA, which has a ghost town feel. I looked for eating challenges, and saw one for Barcadia's burger- looked delicious. I checked in advance and was assured they'd be open and they'd get it set-up.
When my boys and I arrived, the servers didn't know of the challenge, but the managers stepped up in a HUGE way and let this 50-year old do it. And holycow, was it delicious. The boys loved their burgers too, but this was all about

Good & friendly service. Games are a little light @ 9 total, but maybe i'm comparing them to places at home unfairly. Buffalo wings were a little sweet but still good. Western burger had some kind of smoky pepper jelly that was yummy, wish i knew what that was. Cheese curds had a little zing. Dill ranch tasted just like home. All in all, food was on point and I am happy we swung by. If you want pub fare with a twist and a drink, check this place out.

This place is underrated. It comes off as something that would likely be touristy or chain-like, but they actually have a super fun vibe inside and always solid music. Games for entertainment, some of which are free (like big connect 4 or Jenga) There's a big garage door that connects inside game room to outdoor patio. Great drink specials and the bar food is actually freaking DELICIOUS. We've had the BBQ nachos, cheese curds, and fried pickles-all quite delicious versions of classic bar foods. There's also a club-vibing lounge in the back that opens late on weekend nights (I believe

I've been to Barcadia twice, each time it was a themed occasion. This spot has games, great food and drinks with a patio out front. It's a great spot to hang out and watch games on the TVs.
Now let's get to the food and drinks. Pure Nacho awesomeness was found. Pulled pork, tortilla chips, queso, chipotle bbq sauce, pico de gallo, and sour cream. Melt in your mouth shredded pork, crispy chips, smoky sweet tangy spicy bbq sauce. Are you drooling yet? You also want to try their jambalaya and their boneless chicken.
They have curated a special Mardi Gras cocktail menu, that includes

Pretty cool place with a great atmosphere. Food was ok... maybe even good. The great beer selection both on tap and in bottles. I had the Cuban sandwich which actually had spots that were void of meat... how does that happen? Wife had the spinach dip and found the chips stale. Everyone else liked their dishes, but it's more of a hangout or meeting place than restaurant where you'll find a great meal. The outside seating area is great!
