The commitment 181 Fitness makes to each client is to provide individual attention to that client's needs and wants, to use expert coaching techniques to maximize each exercise and training session, and create a strong community of accountability to give each client the tools to succeed in and out of the gym.

Originally from the Philadelphia area and also living for 8 years living in State College, PA, I have dedicated my career to the world of fitness. I have spent years training with clients, volunteers, and youth to build a long lasting love for fitness. I truly enjoy being able to help change people's lives through the utmost professionalism, excellence, and caring.
Nutrition coaching at 181 Fitness comes in two forms: The Takedown Challenge, and the Takedown Lifestyle, but either option is the quickest and most affordable way to achieve real FAT loss results. The Takedown Lifestyle is a 6-8 week program giving people a tailored plan for each individual.

This takes into account their current lifestyles and includes an individual Client Profile Analysis and a Macro Nutrient Report, both of which highlight each client's specific requirements.The Takedown Lifestyle is a 6-8 week program giving each client a tailored plan. For our nutrition programs at 181 Fitness, we even guarantee that you will lose 12 to 24 pounds and 5 to 15% body fat in just four weeks.
If you're looking for results in 1/2 the time but like the community and energy that comes with small group training, then semi-private personal training in Vista is for you. Training with fellow trainees encourages you to try your best, makes the experience more fun, and is less costly.

Not to mention, all workout programs are personalized for your needs and goals, and we provide both the nutritional support and habit coaching necessary for serious results that last.Worried about being in a large group and getting lost in the mix? We take the quality of our services very serious and thus maintain and average coach to trainee ratio of one to four.
Our small group training is fun, effective, and a great way to start or continue on the path towards a healthy lifestyle. Looking for an exciting and challenging workout? Then our classes are for you. Our classes focus provide a no-cardio, strength training solution for weight loss. In place of cardio we offer brief high-intensity interval training and boxing, taught by REAL boxing coaches.

I was in town for just a few months for a project, and I learned more in that time about good lifting practice than I have in years of trying to learn by myself. No questions went unanswered, the trainers are all super knowledgeable and attentive even in the group classes. I shopped around at several gyms in the area before choosing this one and am confident I made the right choice. I wish I had a gym of this quality back home!

Well, almost 1 1/2 years later and we are still very happy with the strength training we are receiving at 181, with Andy as our personal trainer. We have accomplished so much! Our balance, strength and our endurance is tremendous! We've also lost the excess weight we wanted to, an added bonus -- strength training plus nutrition guidance if/when needed. Thanks to the entire 181 Team and our new fitness family at 181 Fitness!

Andy (Owner) is a great trainer. He's patient with teaching you exercises you've never done. Always has a great sense of humor. Other members of the gym create a fun community. This is the best exercise I've had in a really long time. The classes force me to work out harder than I would if left on my own at the gym.

I initially joined for their 21 days skinny Jean challenge. They really do Taylor the work out to you and your goals. They give you three weeks worth of menus if you want to follow them. I did my own menu following their nutritional goals. When I first started I wasn't necessarily 100% committed but after my first boxing class, I was hooked! I would never go back to a regular gym; so I joined 181° fitness permanently. The trainers are fun, & and without being drill sergeants, they really motivate you to give 100% plus. They incorporate all exercises at all levels so you don't feel self-conscious

I've been working out with these guys for years as this gym has evolved and they never fail to impress me. They offer challenges to help get you motivated, personalized service, without being too " in your face", and the work outs?
They help me find muscles I never knew existed!

A friend invited me to attend a class at this gym with him. I decided to go and was very impressed. I don't think I have ever worked out as hard as I did that morning. I was sore from head to toe, but I was completely motivated to do it again. The owners are encouraging, knowledgeable, and fun. The members are also a fun group and encourage each other. Best gym I have ever attended, but be prepared to get your butt kicked.

This gym is AMAZING! The trainers put together well thought out small group classes that get you in the fat burning zone. Each class has a mix of cardio and strength and you will NEVER get bored! No matter how hard the workout is I realize that I am always smiling and having fun!

The trainers are knowledgeable, funny, and CARE! The clients are all in this together and I am really enjoying my newly formed friendships! Everyone lifts everyone up!!! It is a love your body zone!

I've been working out at 181 Fitness for a little less than a year now and these guys are amazing! I am a busy dude, so when it comes to working out, I look for three things

1) Tell me what to do
2) Make sure I am doing it right
3) Keep me motivated to come back

The classes that 181 puts together are designed and customized for your needs. Whether you are in the group class or the private sessions, a trainer works with you one on one to help meet your fitness needs. They observe your movements to make sure that your form is correct and to ensure you don't hurt yourself while trying

I have been coming to 181 Fitness for a little less than a month on the recommendation of a friend, and I have to say, I'm very impressed with the program. The family atmosphere is very welcoming and motivational. I've already lost weight! Highly recommended. Go check them out!

I first heard of this gym through my neighbor, who has been working out here for a few months now. She could not stop raving about it, so I thought I would give it a try. They are a small gym located in Vista, CA, but their trainers, equipment and personalized plans are fabulous! I was lucky enough to meet the owner, Cody Bishop and experience the gym myself. They offer private, semi-private and group workouts. I experienced the semi-private workouts, which had three people to one trainer. But, it felt like I was with private instruction because each trainer will take the time with the individual

I started with 181 Fitness in January. I have lost 6 pounds and am feeling great! The more I do, the easier it gets and the better I feel =) The whole team at 181 is fun and supportive and my husband and I are enjoying meeting new people and getting in shape again. We moved to Vista a year ago in December and are trying to get to know our community and joining this gym is helping on multiple fronts. Love the personal attention and accountability to our program!

If you are looking for a place with amazing trainers then this is the place. Cody, Gabe, Anthony are wonderful they motivate you and get your back into shape and feeling great about you! The community is great the people that you workout with are friendly and you feel like a part of a team! I love my trainers and they make you feel good and give you 110% all the time. It doesn't matter what your level your at they make sure that every move you do is correct and is giving you the best workout. It's not just about the workout it's also about what you take in, nutrition is key and

I love working with the trainer at 181. He is professional, knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely cares. Its more than just conditioning and improving strength. 181 helps the whole person. Physical, emotional and overall spiritual health. I also don't feel overwhelmed in their facility. Plenty of space, and good equipment that feels like its just for me.

This gym is really like a life and fitness community. Cody, Anthony and Gabriel give their all to motivate, train and support each and every member. I guarantee "big box" gyms will never give you this type of cutting-edge training, nutritional guidance, personal attention and fun! There are classes to meet all types of fitness goals with times from 5:30 a.m. to 6:15 p.m., 7 days a week! I know a lot of our members say 181 changed their lives and that we are a big family. Alana and Cody are superstars in my book. They truly care about individuals, and it's just a fun place to be. The gym is not super fancy, but I have been in fancy (empty) gyms. It's about the energy and the trainers, and 181 Fitness has both!

Stumbled upon this gym by chance when I was getting my car tinted next door. The next week, I was a member. Great instruction and attention to "individual" detail. Cody and Alana are very knowledgeable in their field and understand that fitness needs to be fun in order to achieve success. What also makes the gym a success are its members. It's a great atmosphere with everyone encouraging you to max out one more rep! Results = Hard Work and Commitment, so don't expect a cake walk, but if you are looking for a hard work out with fantastic coaches and laid back members

181 Fitness has been key to what I am hopeful will be my last time trying to "lose weight". I have been down this road too many times on my own. I have yo-yo'd up and down with my weight over most of my adult life. I am optimistic that I am "losing" weight for the last time. For the first time in my life I have been exercising consistently for almost a year. Cody is the real deal. He doesn't just have the muscles but the brains too. With a MS in psychology he knows exactly how to motivate you! He and Alana make a great team! If you want to get in shape, pay these guys a visit.
