As advertised. Fantastic!!. Great rooms; so quaint and well decorated with modern amenities. Parking though tight was convenient and available a bit before check in so we could explore first. Steps to red line to quickly get you to Boston or Harvard and beyond. The MIT neighborhood is quiet on weekends and even on a Monday didn't seem hectic. Again fantastic choice and would definitely do it again. Room on 6th floor. Honestly didn't hear any internal or external noise
Well done to management.

We love this boutique hotel and stay here every time we are visiting our son at MIT. Very well run, super clean, and great amenities to include a hearty breakfast, glass of complimentary wine in the evening, and free gym passes. We've told all our friends about too. Two thumbs way up!

Feels like you are in your own home, super friendly staff, warm, cozy, quiet rooms, free breakfast, clean bathrooms, comfy bed (be aware, accidently slept in a day) this is the second time I am staying here, I found my go to home-hotel in Cambridge. Almost want to keep the news to myself but won't be fair to the hotel and anyone else that would want this unique experience.

What a great little hotel. It's very cozy and the staff makes you feel right at home. When my wife and I arrived very late the kitchen had closed but they made us a really delicious little pizza. In the evenings they serve wine in the lobby.
Our room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Parking is a little tight. It costs extra and there aren't many spaces in the garage below the building.
The price was comparable to the big fancy chain hotels, but the Kendall was much more comfortable to me. We will definitely stay there again.

I can't believe anyone would give The Kendall less than 5 stars. The staff is incredible- if you call from your room for anything, it appears within seconds- and the rooms have a cute modern traditional vibe with nods to the building's firehouse past. The beds and pillows are comfy and they give you plenty of super thick towels. When you check in, they offer free passes to a gym. The buffet style breakfast is actually awesome, unlike the other reveiwer said. It features scrambled eggs, toast, muffins and muesli, and they have a nice self serve coffee bar. This place is a gem and bargain! We used

Tucker is an All Star! He checked us in and offered us a nice red wine to soothe our troubles away! The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are well decorated and clean. This will be our go to for all of our Boston trips! Woo. Also, LOLZ on the breakfast haters… 1. Try keeping a hotel afloat during a pandemic. 2. If you are expecting something magical for breakfast you will need to stay at the Ritz🤣. 3. The Ritz doesn’t have Dyson hairdryers!

A great find. Beautiful, quaint, renovated firehouse right on the edge of the MIT campus. Super, friendly staff (Mark is the greatest. A wealth of information, suggestions, and so friendly) Have stayed here three different times and have had a great experience every time. Rooms are spacious and well appointed. Has a B & B feel. Parking available in basement garage ($45/day). Ask about the free wine tastings!

Fun hotel - nice break from commercial, impersonal hotels.
Breakfast was fine - they're re-implementing their pre-pandemic breakfast fare, and I can imagine it will be pretty impressive when they are back to normal. In the meantime, it was tasty and filling enough (eggs, bacon, fruit, muesli, some pre-packaged baked goods, juice & coffee).

We stayed here for four nights and the breakfast was the worst I have seen in a while. Basically packaged muffins, boiled eggs, and pancakes in a bag. There is a $19.99 "amenity" fee per night which is still charged despite the hotel not offering most of these amenities due to Covid. Would honestly rather have them take that off and not serve breakfast at all. Rooms are clean.

Stayed here last weekend with my BF for a weekend getaway. It was lovely. Brenda made our trip great with wonderful recommendations and little touches like wine and a gift that went the extra mile.
Also felt very safe and comfortable staying here with Covid precautions in place. Would highly recommend to anyone. Location was extremely convenient and the decor was lovely and comfortable.

A gem of a place. It's a combination of the friendliness and personal service of a Bed & Breakfast, but with the attention to detail and quality of a large, fancy chain.

Food and bar: outstanding.
Staff: amazing!
Location: one-minute walk to the T in Kendall Square (Red Line)
Rooms: elegant

I can't say enough positive things about this place.
Brenda, Mark and Stephen: thanks for everything!

I stayed here for an overnight a few weeks ago because I was attending a conference at MIT. The place is absolutely adorable. The decor is extremely unique and charming with a true feel for the history that Boston holds. It does not feel like a sterile, cookie-cutter hotel. Rather, it is home-y because of the size and style of the place. It is new and very clean, but it almost resembles your grandparents house. It feels comfortable and cozy like you've gone home to visit family for the weekend. The rich history of the founding of America is evident in all of the diverse treasures on display

Usually when I'm going away I do a ton of research on the place that I plan on staying at. This trip was more last minute and I needed a last minute hotel. I booked the Kendall. The hotel is right across from the T station - super convenient!

I went to check in and the receptionist said, "oh! We were just discussing your room!" I got a little nervous (turns out I had nothing to worry about). She also mentioned when I complimented the decor, that it was a converted firehouse. As someone who loves history, this was very cool for me to discover. She also mentioned there is a free

This is my favorite place to stay whenever I am in Boston which is my home city. The staff here are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very up-to-date and very nice looking. The location is perfect since you are right next to MIT and many restaurants and it's only walk over a nearby bridge to get to Boston. The food here is very good and if Staying here, I highly recommend eating here as well.

This was the most hospitable stay at a hotel that I've had in years! And I do travel a lot. Staff (Ryan ) were so welcoming and helpful. Thank you so much for making me a list for more vegan discoveries around Cambridge! This is our 4th time to Boston and this visit has confirmed a future visit! I absolutely loved my room! With a jacuzzi tub! Nightly wine hour and nuts were a great way to welcome us back every night! Thank you Leilani for more wine!

I stayed here for one brief evening for a work event at MIT. (I didn't pay for the hotel myself, so I'm not sure what it costs.) The hotel is super convenient to the MIT campus, and is charming and adorable: it's in an old firehouse, with all sorts of lovely decor and nice touches. You really feel like you're in a unique and boutique sort of space.

They offer a really excellent free breakfast with vegetarian options (mmm those breakfast potatoes), and an evening happy hour which I wasn't able to take advantage of. Free bottles of water are provided in the room, along with

I love, love the Kendall Hotel. I've stayed there a few times and it's my favorite place to stay in Boston. Close to the MIT campus, close to the T, close to the Charles.

Rooms are spacious for Boston--it's an older building, so how they did it, I don't know. Each room is different: different bedding, details, etc.

The people at the front desk are always very kind--I had a lot of questions during one of my stays, and the man behind the front desk pulled out all kinds of maps and gave me an assortment of recommendations.

The communal space downstairs was also lovely. My

I like this hotel very much: my room was fairly large, tastefully decorated, comfortable and quiet. There's strong, fast Wi-Fi. The staff is friendly and helpful. The neighbors (Google, the Broad Institute) come across as upstanding citizens.

The room has plush terrycloth robes, which some people like a lot. On the other hand, the shower flow was not great -- it was hard to get a decent shower.

I liked the free hotel breakfast: coffee is set out on the bar well before the official opening hour of the breakfast room, and there's enough in the breakfast room itself (eggs, bacon, potatoes
