Recently moved in and so far the building is well kept and quiet. The concierge is very friendly and great to have for deliveries and package pick up. The maintenance men have always come very quickly to fix any issues. The rooftop is a great extra spot. I just hope they update the gym soon, the cardio machine are very dated and the tread has essentially worn off. Parking is great and you never have to fight for a spot. Being close to Laos in Town and Indigo is definitely extra points because they’re so good!

We have lived at the Loree Grand since April 2019. We took advantage of a seamless transfer to a larger unit in May 2020. Objectively, I rate living here five stars for a few simple reasons. The front desk staff is always amazing. Maintenance is fast, attentive and has resolved any issues we've had. The building's cleaning staff is so nice and always ensures the building is constantly clean. Management listens to any issues we've seen and empowers their staff to address resident concerns. The building is very quiet, sure you will hear something on occasion but I have not lived in a quieter building

Union place apartments are a great place to live . With some many spacious lounge areas , it is great to have a family gathering or even a business meeting . Union place prides themselves on ensuring that all residents are comfortable and safe. The leasing office is absolutely amazing. They are all very helpful and always eager to make sure residents are doing well.

I have lived at the Loree Grand since June 2020 and have been consistently impressed with my living experience. In particular, the maintenance staff is incredibly responsive and helpful on issues big and small. All requests have been completed during the next business day, and the staff has been communicative about any issues needing follow-up. The community spaces are well maintained and building management has done an excellent job of navigating Covid-related issues with regards to common spaces. Additionally, the Community Manager has always been responsive and helpful in relation to any inquiries

I’ve been living here at the Loree for almost 2 months and I LOVE IT!! I looked around the city before deciding on the Loree. The building is kept immaculate, daily. The cleaning crew, concierge, leasing office & maintenance are all awesome. The apartments are spacious; not small and cookie cutter like the so-called new luxury apts going up around the city for $$$$. I’m sure the Loree will be my home for years to come.

The Loree Grand has incredible value for money! We have lived here in a one bedroom+ den with a balcony for almost one year and have had a fantastic experience. We had looked all over the city for apartments, but didn’t find anything comparable. The aesthetic of the apartment is modern - great wood floors, counter tops, and lighting. Management has been responsive and great since we’ve moved in and also handled the COVID situation really well. The neighborhood is also fantastic, walkable to H St, Capitol Hill, and NoMa, with tons of grocery stores, restaurants, and public transport nearby.

I have lived here for over two years and it's been a wonderful community to live in. The leasing, front desk, and maintenance staff are always cheerful and helpful. The community is clean and safe. The apartments are well-maintained and the sound proofing is awesome! Location is great within walking distance to grocery stores, public transport, and several restaurants. I love it here and highly recommend it!

I have been a tenant at the Loree for a little over a month and I love it! From the leasing office to the cleaning staff. As Melissa, was leaving the office for the day, I needed a copy of my lease. She stopped, turned around and went back to her office to get me a copy. It could have waited until tomorrow, but she obliged me at that very moment. The building is cleaned daily. I'm not sure why the reviews below are so negative. My experience has been nothing but positivity. I hope to make the Loree my home for many years to come.

In the two years that I've lived here, I've never had a reason to complain. Maintenance is prompt, and the front office communicates quickly and works with you to find the right solutions for you. The amenities are always clean and easy to use. Also, the concierge staff is just wonderful. They are always cheerful, and have helped me quickly and well whenever I've had a question.

Bell Partners management is excellent at the Loree Grand. The staff is professional and efficient. They attend to matters promptly and are quite responsive. At the beginning of the pandemic, the Property Manager, Melissa Mitchell worked quickly with the staff to implement COVID-19 protection to ensure the safety and comfort of the residents. The overall management care and operations at the Loree Grand is stellar. Cheers to Bell Partners for their excellent management performance!

Went and saw an apartment the other day, and even though I felt they were slightly out of my budget, Charles showed me a beautiful unit, was very friendly and transparent, and seemed to know his stuff! Once I get this raise I for sure will be excited about joining the community. It's in a great area, and I've saw really good reviews, plus I have a friend that lives at the property, and he raves about the office, and maintenance staff, and not having really any issues with other Residents.

Note: this is an average rating between two property management companies that managed the LG.
My s/o and I were fairly long-term residents of the LG. We had to do a lot of research of the property and the amenities around the neighborhood, as we were unable to physically tour the place in person prior to submitting an application.
We were informed about amenities around the LG like the dog park, and we were told that we had a very desirable view, and to be honest, both pieces of information weren't entirely true. The dog park, owned by the city and not LG, was not open or even completed

Attention future renters: please do no believe the response... of course the office staff is not going to report their own malfeasance. I assure you they were terrible at communicating even when we took the initiative to start conversations they should have started. Also, if they changed concierge companies since April, maybe this is correct, but I would question their timeline. And honestly, they did NOT mention the poor lighting due to the building. They mentioned poor lighting in the unit below us (both were available at the time) and encouraged us to move to the unit we ended up in because

I recommend you DO NOT move here. This was a wonderful community and great place to live when Bozzuto managed the property. It's in a great location in NoMa and a great place to live if you don't care about a lot of amenities such as a big gym or rooftop pool. Unfortunately Bell Partners took over from Bozzuto and the experience ever since has been absolutely horrible. The management staff are beyond horrible, the concierges are inattentive and most of the time aren't even at their desk. The ONLY exception is Whitney

For almost two years, I have called the Loree Grand home. I feel like I hit the jackpot by finding this gem! The staff are absolutely outstanding. Everyone - the concierges, property management, and maintenance team - make an effort to know their residents. You truly feel like a valued member of the community. A special shout-out to concierge staff Oliver and Carmen who wish me a good day as I leave for work and ask me how my day was when I return home. It truly means a lot. I have to take a moment to thank the staff at The Loree Grand. Truly, you will fail to find a group of people more selfless, more helpful, more giving, and more caring. The concierge crew alone, lead by the unparalleled Oliver, is worth signing a lease for.
Carmen is easily the most genuine person, greeting every single tenant with a smile when we come home from work. It's honesty like coming home to a friend. Shout out to Michelle, who will always give you the best advice.
Oliver, though, goes above and beyond on a daily basis. Every request taken care of within the hour. My parents recently

I've lived at the Loree Grand for over a year now, at first, for a short 6 month lease. They were incredibly responsive, and were a pleasure to coordinate with. Move-in was a breeze, the loading dock is well sheltered from traffic, and has an elevator nearby.
Every service request has been dealt with in a timely way, and this week, when a plumber had stained my carpet (installed a few days before I moved in, by the way!), they had removed the carpet and had hardwood down by the next day.
The concierge is always friendly and goes out of their way for me all the time.

When we were planning the move to DC, apartment hunting proved to be quite daunting! Was every building/community as horrible as the reviews reflected?! Will I regret moving to DC? The answer: No!
The Loree Grand was the first building we toured and it instantly seemed to very much the opposite from the reviews of other apartment buildings. After a couple more property tours, we knew The Loree Grand was exactly what we were looking for. The apartment we chose, Studio + Den, is not what it seems. It is a 900+ sq ft, open floorplan, one-bedroom for a very reasonable price. It seemed to out-weigh

UPDATE 8/2015 - 2 stars, would like to give 1.5
The LG has really gone downhill in the past year. Staff in all departments have basically become a revolving-door. Most concierges are friendly and make an effort to know the residents, and are as helpful as they can be with what little information they are given. Management does not communicate and suggestions are ignored. Period. The last time I needed help from maintenance, they left a disgusting globby malodorous mess in my kitchen sink and flooded the cabinet beneath - which ruined everything not wrapped in plastic (including paper recycling

As a native Washingtonian, I wanted to have the experience of walking to work at some point in my life. So, I sold my condo uptown and decided to move into an apartment close to work until my home was finished being constructed.
I was referred to the Loree Grand by previous tenants that raved about the place.
I enjoyed my stay at the LG despite the change in management and turnover in front desk staff. My only complaint was the price of a small studio. I was hoping that I could have a better deal as I attempted to renew my lease, but the management company was unwilling to provide any concessions

I had previously updated with a less glowing review due to high staff turnover (mentioned in some other reviews), but I deleted it because things have really been worked out here! The turnover seems to have ended and I love having familiar and knowledgable people running things.
I was prompted to review again because they came in for a regular maintenance checkup and needed to get into the mechanical closet-- they said they would move my bed out of the way for me. I still meant to do it myself (not their job!) and totally forgot, but it looks like they did and put it back *exactly* as it was

My fiance and I have lived in the Loree Grand for a year and a half, and we couldn't be more pleased. The staff is excellent: Shanika, the weekend concierge, has been there since we moved in, and honestly, is one of the biggest reasons we are dreading our move across town. I don't know what they are paying that woman, but I'm 100% it is not enough. The leasing team has had some transition, but Attiya, Christiana, and Claire have been nothing but helpful and friendly the last few months.
The location is superb: close to Union Station, H St., a grocery store, and the metro. The gym

I am a current tenant and could not be happier with the Loree Grand. I moved from San Diego, where I was living in a small studio apartment in the heart of downtown, and I couldn't be happier with the management, location, aesthetics, and pricing here. I am fully prepared for the increase in rates come time for lease renewal - the management was very upfront about the discounted rate we were getting as first time renters with the company, so I'm confused about the previous reviewer's comments about a "bait and switch." It's very common for properties to offer deals
