I have ordered from here on several occasions and the food is hit or miss. Sometimes it’s very good, however tonight I ordered curry chicken and it was so over salted that i could not eat it. The services is exceptional.

They are nasty here and rude. They give you very little food for the cost and they don't follow covid safety. I won't be going back to be disrespected by staff and cheated out of a hardy meal that costed me $80. Never again.

This place is so unorganized and dirty. I ordered my food and was still waiting 45 minutes after I called it in. The workers and owner had on masksthat was not covering their nose or mouth. Guy standing over counter talking to staff eating with no mask on. There were flies all over the place. DONT EAT THEIR FOOD!!

Definitely 5 starts, 10 if I could! Tried this restaurant out last Nov& Authentic Caribbean flavor Is there for sure. The rice and peas was well flavored and baked chicken was just like back home. Add it to your list of restaurants to try while in the Philly area.

I am sorry but this place can not prepare a salmon and rice. The wait was long, which isn't entirely bad. However, when you finally get your food you expect mouth watering results. We received a 5 lb bowl with 4lbs of overseasoned rice. And very few hidden pieces of salmon. First and last time here. I only went here because Little Mans juice bar is closed on Monday and I really wanted salmon , it's the only form of meat I'll eat. It was a horrible experience. I'm sorry.

I've only eaten here twice, but I have no doubt in my mind that every single thing on this menu is straight fire, seasoned to perfection. The Flavor Spot is the perfect name for this establishment. Life-long customer.

I know it's Covid and all but the food I just received was not at all up to par. I am so dissatisfied. The way the explanation of how this fried chicken would be, made my mouth water. I was so excited. The picture attached is exactly how it came. Scraps of chicken that seemed like it was microwaved the next day. Damn, I was hungry too. I guess I should of known better not to order soul food from a Caribbean establishment. Their forte is Caribbean. 25 dollars gone. Cabbage was good, rice and gravy was Ok.
I'm so sad.

The name says it all!

Great customer service, fresh, and beyond flavorful.

If you're calling in your order, you may have to call a few times sometimes as it gets very busy, but it's definitely worth the wait!

The oxtails, rice and peas, cabbage and plantain platter is the best. It's a large portion (two meals in one), so you will definitely have left overs if you order the large. The gravy is on point!

The location is small so look out for the sign, busy area but there is usually free street parking available.

Best Jamaican cuisine in town, enjoy!

Wow. This food is sooooo good! I'm writing this from the car as I devour my whiting platter with rice and beans and cabbage. My gf got the curried shrimp and everything is amazing! Definitely the best food we had in a while. We drove from west philly. You won't be disappointed!

The only bright spot in our quarantine routine is our Friday Night Food Delivery and tonight was especially dazzling. I had the Ova De Top Chicken and it was wholly worthy of the name! The hubs felt the same about his shrimp curry. We rounded it out with rice and beans, plantains, and sweet potatoes. Fabulous dinner in a week with few bright spots. Thanks!

10s 10s 10s . I get delivery. On doordash. Great food! I'v tried so far the granny style stew chicken, fried chicken, curry chicken, rice and peas, cabbage, greens, Mac and cheese, plantains, coco bread and sweet potatoes. All so good. Unique and flavorful for sure. ( I did try the baked chicken. I think it tastes more like sweet bbq and is not my fav to be fair) but that's it. It's all good.

Soooooo good! I ordered the Granny Style Stew Chicken with rice and beans and greens. It was amazing. Maybe the best brown stew chicken I've ever had. Very flavorful. A tad bit spicy but I like it like that! My favorite part of the meal. I asked for extra gravy on the rice and it was also amazing. The greens were good too but not the best I've had. I would def order again.

I've been eating here since 2014. The food is delicious & flavorable. I can appreciate a business who delivers consistency. Everytime I order from Flavor Spot, the food is just as good and/or better than the time before.

The service is excellent and I highly recommend the entire menu.

Ordered my food and it came hot and on time. Two platters were ordered, ox tails and curry shrimp. Sides were peas and rice, cabbage, sweet plantains and sweet fried dumplings. Everything was delicious and definitely worth the price although I originally wanted the escovitch fried whiting, but was told they were out. I was very happy with my alternative choice and will be going back to get the fish. Great food!!

What could I possibly say about this place? It's a little corner spot... that unless you really paid attention you would miss. But it's an amazing place to get great food. To say that their curry chicken gives the perfect match of fire an smoothness would be an understatement. Their cabbage is like .... man there are no words. I could literally survive off of the cabbage and rice for the rest of my life and never be disappointed.... if your ever oh Philly on Broad... check them out... you won't be disappointed

I like that the prices aren't too high and you get s lot for what you pay for. I usually get the fry chicken which is always good. My only issue is when you ask for extra gravy they soak the rice in gravy to the point you can't it anymore. Overall I like this place.
