The Fig Tree Restaurant

Absolutely wonderful experience! We had 8pm reservations, got there early, and seated immediately.
I had the bone in Elk, medium rare = perfect. My wife had the Salmon, again perfect.
I'd recommend the 100 year Port flight if you can to end the evening!

My wife and I went to Fig Tree for our anniversary this past weekend. From start to finish, it was a wonderful meal and dining experience. First of all, I had to cancel our first reservation 30 minutes prior to when we were to arrive, and the staff couldn't have been nicer about it on the phone. I called back and rescheduled for the next night, and again, they couldn't have been any nicer and accommodating on the phone.
Quite simply, it was one of the best meals we've ever had. The cheese plate was a great start, the entrees were delicious, and the cheesecake and beignets with "Happy Anniversary

Had a fantastic experience with great quality food. We ordered the Oso and the lobster tail both were great dishes. The chocolate dessert was also fantastic.
Our server was very friendly and helpful.

The well-curated wine list was the only redeeming aspect of our experience last night. We started to get the sense things weren't going to go well when on of our neighboring diners had to send her meal back...twice. Apparently, her veal chop was too tough to be palatable. For our part, the bread service was slow. The foi gras was mediocre and sloppily presented. My ostrich was medium rare, as requested, and the flavor was decent, however; it was not allowed to rest appropriately prior to being sliced and it was excessively salted. Went last night to have NYE dinner! I'd like to thank the owner/chef for allowing us in his home because that what you feel when there! Very nice old home. Excellent food and service. Will definitely be back when in Charlotte!! The bartenders were great also

First off. Best server I’ve had in Charlotte. Rebecca was absolutely fantastic. As far as the food, you have to get the escargots, elk chop, and basque cheesecake. The cheesecake was one of my favorite desserts of the year. Impressive wine list with solid prices and unique selection.

We loved it. I researched and researched for a place to celebrate our 20th Wedding Anniversary. We were seated upstairs. Being the earliest reservation available, we had the room to ourselves for quite some time. Dylan was terrific server. Props to him. The food and atmosphere did not disappoint.
The Escargot was exactly as expected from reading other reviews- awesome. The Creamy Gorgonzola sauce was amazing and so was the bread to dip in it!
If you are wondering about the dress code, I would think business casual and up. I think the few people that were dressed too casual stood out. However

A top notch, quiet and fancy place to dine. Perfect for celebrating something special in a classy way. I came here to celebrate my birthday (along with at least 4 other parties), and am extremely satisfied with the experience from start to finish.
Definitely make a reservation, as this spot looked to be booked up(I made a reservation online 3 weeks in advance). A soon as we arrived, we were greeted warmly and taken to our table immediately, and then greeted by our server, who was fantastic, extremely helpful and provided just the right amount of commentary for everything, perhaps the best server

Fantastic restaurant. Food was incredible and our server was great. Had our 17th wedding anniversary dinner here, and we were very pleased. Will do this again

The fig tree is wonderful. The staff is so wonderful. Everything is done to perfection and in a timely fashion. I always have the best experience there. It was my husband and I late Anniversary dinner and they made it the best experience. We even got dessert with "Happy Anniversary written in chocolate! Thanks Greg and Sara for the perfect night! 💖
