The Park At Laurel Oaks

This apartment complex needs to be completely shut
down. I had to deal with mold growth in the
apartment with my child and my entire pregnancy.
There was issues with our toilets and had sewer
(feces) coming from the shower drain and it
happened on multiple occasions which was
disgusting. We moved in with a roach infestation
which was very unsanitary! Our refrigerator would
stop working and left us to throw out food. I would
not recommend these apartments especially if you
have a family. Trash was always left and had squirrels
going through it daily.

I’m not one to leave reviews but I have to! Marlly, Samantha and Tatiana exceeded my expectations. They were always available to answer my questions and address all of my concerns. They made the entire process so easy. From initiating a lease agreement and arranging moving in. I am so thankful for their assistance and recommend the complex to anyone due to the quality of living space and the high quality of service and care.

I can not believe that you guys would let your tenants live in such deplorable conditions during construction and when water pipes broke. Then blame a lady for the MOLD that those broken water pipes caused. Stay away from this apartment complex. Pretty package on the outside but horrible on the inside.

I’ve been here for a few years and have been through quite a few management companies. Since we’ve gotten this new staff our living experience has completely changed. Work orders are handled better and faster. The office staff has been more than attentive and responsive. I have to give a thank you to Marlly because she’s especially helped me throughout a tough experience and made me feel at ease. But all of the staff are always willing to help. Big thank you to the team.

Met a lovely young lady by the name of Marlly and I loved her personality and professionalism. She was polite & really left me considering my options. I loved the property & the customer service!!

I just moved in.. not even 24 hours and I see roach infestation. Very disgusting to say the least. The apartment was dirty from sticky cabinets to crumbs left in all tile areas... there is no way I should be cleaning up when they delayed my move in date to ensure it was clean with "new" carpet that has stains .. no move speech and next steps but they certainly call for their money. Was told because they weren't the ones who did the lease.. what does that have to do with me and aren't you a leasing agent and suppsed to take up for new tenants for your fellow colleagues by informing a new tenant

That picture and the "model" apt are absurdly NOTHING like Apt you will move into. Try roaches, holes, overspray paint, don't bother to clean in between tenants, when cleaning lady comes to "deep clean" she has ONE bottle of some solution and ONE rag!!! Gonna clean toilet n then stove? 1 closet door missing, 1 closet door so filthy it had to be removed. After more than 6 Mos, I gave up, 2 yrs they still haven't replaced. The a/c has not worked right 4 2 yrs, the 1st thermostat 8 maintenance guys did not know how to reprogram. I asked the Maintenance Supervisor Craig if they didn't have a Manuel

Staff is friendly but I keep having issues with their property management. They have not returned my security deposit and prorated rent from September. It has been 2 weeks. They told me it would only take 7 business days. They did not compensate me for any of my moving expenses after they are removing all of the residents in my building due to "Hurricane damage". Why even put someone in the building if that building was not fit for living in the first place? My unit was "renovated" but they still needed to update the whole building and not honor my 12 month contract.

Please ignore all of the reviews with any kind of positivity as this place is a dump. Moved here in June and this is the constant state of most of the breezeways and general walking areas. The photo of the shopping cart was taken 2 weeks ago and I could take the exact same picture today with the trash bag still in the grass. I will be taking weekly pictures of these issues to keep a time line for when it finally gets taken care of. I don’t want an apology or any of that BS… just do better is all I ask.. how hard is it really?

The neighborhood was not the best, they had a roll off can full of household trash not construction, which means they were cheap in trying to get separate cans. Now all that waste will be going to a class 1 landfill instead of being recycled. There were no bins for regular trash so let's me know management is quick to make an easy penny. Cars parked on the grass, and almost got in an accident from a resident speeding through the complex. Not the place I would be visiting anytime soon.
