I have created courses in Trauma-Sensitive Yoga, Yoga for the Workplace, and Mindful Art Journaling. These are self-paced, easily accessible courses you can do at home. When the body is in homeostasis, it has the ability to heal itself as well as prevent illness. However, many people suffer from a nervous system that is out of balance. This is due to chronic stress and trauma. Yoga, breathwork, meditation, and chanting all stimulate the vagus nerve, which activates the parasympathetic nervous system.
For online classes, If you don't already have Zoom on your computer, download it and get to know your way around. Give yourself time to do this step as I won't be able to help you last minute. 6. Login a few minutes early and enjoy the class! You will have the option to turn your camera off if you'd like, so don't be shy or think everyone will see you.besides, they're busy practicing!
Preregistration is available two days before the class takes place. First time users will need to create an account first. Students are allowed to cancel themselves out of class up to two hours before it starts and often times spots will open up. Early Cancel: Cancellation made prior to 2 hours to the start time of class.

I cannot say enough good things about yoga with Spira! She is so passionate and patient, attentive and encouraging! She makes everyone feel comfortable even if they have never sat on a yoga mat before. Joining in from home couldn’t be more accessible. There is no excuse for missing an hour of much needed self care! She is especially great at catering to everyone’s particular aches or concerns. Mine is usually my lower back - she knows just how to ease my pain. When we do twists she says it is like wringing out your spine - it is so true. This mindful art workshop was fantastic! Spira led a group of artists and non-artists through a brief meditation, a lesson on the art of mark-making and Zentangle, and we all dove into the process. I have done Zentangle before but many folks in the class were unfamiliar with the technique. Spira was very open with her instruction and expertly guided us all through the exercise. When we were done we had a critique and I have to say I was impressed with everyone's' final pieces!
