BT Fitness
Our trainers will develop a customized training and meal plan designed for you in order to help you reach your fitness goals. Similar to personal training where you will get a workout routine dedicated to your needs, but you will be in a group of 8-10 people. Hour long session of HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) where you will be guided by a trainer through a series of exercises that you will do for one minute each.

BT Fitness is located in Alexandria, VA. We specialize in one-on-one personal training designed to help you lose weight and improve your health and fitness wellness. Our personal trainers can design a fitness program that is specific to you. We are able to optimize workouts that cater specifically to your present level of fitness, by gradually increasing workouts over time and you will see and feel the results throughout your entire body.
Special attention is given to each client to ensure you are achieving your ideal training intensity, and training to your threshold without leaveing feeling exhausted, but exhilarated - and looking forward to your next workout! We can also customize a meal plan that will help you reach your goals at no additional cost.
Ever since I can remember, I have always been passionate and excited about fitness. I was a soccer player almost all my life, and decided in 1995 to pursue my passion of being a body builder. In 2007, I started working at GYM as a trainer, and I received my AFPA Personal Trainer certification. It was the most exciting accomplishment of my career!

BT Fitness…2 words life changing. Every so often we come across individuals who are doing exactly what they’re meant to do. Berhene at BT Fitness is one of those individuals. He treats personal training like an art and his trainees like his artwork.
It is not hard to find trainers who help achieve a great workout during your sessions. What makes Berhene and BT Fitness unique is that exercise and meal plans are geared towards teaching you lifelong techniques and discipline. Additionally, Berhene meets you where you are while simultaneously pushing you beyond your perceived limits.

Highly recommend BT Fitness. B really upped my weightlifting and diet game I and can't say enough about how he improved my leg and back strength. I've had 4 ACL tears in my left knee, which hasn't felt right in years, and I consistently tweaked my back whenever I tried to do heavier squats or deadlifts. Over the course of training with B, my leg and back strength improved dramatically and feel better than ever. There is no question that strength training, with the right trainer, can make all the difference. If you are looking to feel better B is great (not to mention help me/you look great!!).

I really enjoy going to this gym. Great staff and the facility is clean! I like that we do a variety of exercises such as cardio, weights, boot camp, body pump, etc. The owner/instructor genuinely cares about his clients. Only have been there for 2 months and I have seeing some good results. The owner has helped me understand how important it is to stay fit and take care of my health. Working out there has helped me mentally and physically. I also like the fact that B helps you with a meal plan so you can see better results from your workout. I love BT Fitness! The instructor/owner, B, is so helpful and really cares about your fitness goals. He explains each exercise to ensure you’re doing it right, while also pushing you to do your best.
He does a really good job of keeping the facility as clean and safe as possible. He sanitizes each piece of equipment after use and keeps everyone socially distanced.
Best bootcamp classes out there! He also offers personal training sessions!

I would 100% recommend this gym!! The gym is super clean and the trainer constantly sanitizes equipments. The owner/trainer is very helpful and respectful and pushes you to be better everyday. Going to this gym brought back the happiness in my life that I lost after picking up injuries during my time as a Division 1 athlete. I started at BT fitness over seven years ago, I moved from the area for about three years, but had to re-joint BT fitness upon my return. I have learned so much from Berhane (B for short) over the years. His bootcamp classes are still amazing to say the least. The great thing is you have a morning and night option which works well depending on your work schedule. The workouts are great and you can definitely reach your goals of fat loss, muscle gain or just toning. Wow, if you're like me and need that extra push of motivation, this is a great place. Berhane makes everyone feel like they're getting personal training. It's not easy to motivate me to workout, but his style of training is perfect. I've always taken classes through class pass, but will probably start just signing up through his website because I like the classes so much. He pushes you to do your best, but not to the point of injury like some other trainers. He's tough, but also caring and realistic.

Seriously though, I can't say enough nice things about BT Fitness

I have been attending (off and on) boot camp and other group classes for 3 years at BT Fitness and I love it! B is such a great trainer who pushes you to do your best and to never quit until class is over. The exercises are challenging and allow you to continue to build stamina, muscle and confidence. B will explain the exercises to you, correct you if you are doing it incorrectly to ensure your body has the right form and you don't injury yourself. With Covid, he sanitizes the equipment after use and the other class attendees wipe down equipment so everyone can continue to be safe while working

I decided to make a major change in my life and I could not have found a better trainer, coach, and workout guru! Berhane challenged me during every workout, and was just the right combination of compassionate and tough with each one. He got me moving, without injury, and after 11 weeks I have lost 30 lbs and greatly improved my fitness level. I found BT Fitness through a Groupon, the deal was affordable, so I decided to sign up, and reached out the Berhane, the owner. After the deal was over, I liked the classes so much that I decided to buy a package. The location is very convenient with flexible hours and offers early morning and evening classes.

Berhane is extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of fitness, and provided tremendous support and helped me recover from a back injury. This place is the best because the classes feel more like personal training with lots of form corrections and modifications. If you want to move your body

I've been taking B's classes now for a little over a year and he is the best trainer! I'm in the best shape I've ever been and I'm getting stronger and stronger every day. Before joining BT Fitness I was a regular at my local gym and considered myself to be in pretty good shape, that all changed after my first bootcamp. Bootcamps consist of high intensity interval training, something I was definitely missing in my previous workouts. Our instructor, Berhane, is very passionate and motivating. The workouts he puts together somehow manage to be both challenging and fun. He knows exactly when to push you to the next level and provides just the right amount of guidance to ensure you're getting the best workout. I recommend BT Fitness to everyone at every fitness

I've been coming to the Small Group PT classes on Thursdays and Saturdays for 5 weeks now and I love it! B teaches the Thursday class and Jamie has started teaching the Saturday class. Both are great instructors that will push you to get the most out of each workout and keep you motivated throughout. My first class was rough as I hadn't worked out for nearly a year, but as the weeks have progressed I've definitely noticed more stamina and i'm gaining strength. What an excellent instructor. I never thought I can reach my goal in such an expedition.
B is the ultimate motivator and trainer. Even on the days you don't feel like working out ( we all have those days ) if you just somehow get yourself to his gym, you can rest assured you will have a great workout.
B gives off such positive energy that will encourage you to push thru no matter what is going on.
What I also like is that there is never a dull moment. He changes up the exercises so you are never bored with the same move. Hour pass by so quick when you train with B.

I've been going to B's bootcamp classes since October 2014, and just recently decided to take it to the next level with one on one personal training sessions. I can't say enough great things about B; he pushes you by motivating you to WANT to do your best - for yourself, and for him. The bootcamp classes are good, set up with 1 minute circuits per exercise, and you essentially work a different muscle group every day (e.g. Mondays is legs day, Tuesdays is upper body, etc.).

B incorporates weights, plyometrics, cardio, resistance training - you name it, he does it. I often joke

B is probably one of the best trainers out there. I joined his 6 a.m. bootcamp class almost a year ago and still enjoy coming. I have seen really great results from his bootcamp and meal plan. He challenges you and pushes you, but never in an aggressive manner. He believes in making you do your best even if you're unsure what your best is. This is a great place for those who have fallen off the wagon, which was the case for me. It had been over a year since my last real workout when I found BT. I needed that extra push to be get back on it. BT fitness will challenge the elite in fitness training

I found out about the boot camp class on Groupon, it seemed like a great deal, so I signed up. I'm still taking this class. Berhane makes sure to be motivating and keep everyone going. I needed something or someone to push me and he does that with the workouts he gives. I also like how the other people are nice and helpful to each other during class (positive energy everywhere!). Overall, I really like the experience and would definitely recommend it to local people :)

Great bootcamps for folks like me that need that extra bit of motivation/peer pressure to push themselves. Berhane is very knowledgable as a trainer, as well as a nutritionist. and the folks that come and work out are very friendly, low key, and of all fitness levels, when compared to other boot camps or crossfit gyms.
If I was picky I'd say it'd be nice to have a bigger locker room and to rotate the target muscle groups each day of the week. because if you can only make it there 2 same days of the week, you will always work out the 2 same muscle groups.

She customized a workout just for me and I've never had such phenomenal results! The Zumba class Is energetic, fun and inviting for someone of any fitness level. Gigi is so friendly and her enthusiasm for dance and its health benefits is infectious. The class size is a nice small size, allowing plenty of room to dance without worrying you will hit anyone. Ten minutes in you'll be wanting to buy your ticket to Puerto Rico or anywhere that you can strut your dancing Latin-like flavor. Gigi makes you want to shake yourself into a more fit version of yourself! And isn't exercise that's fun much easier to commit a lifestyle to?

BT Fitness is AMAZING. There are multiple options: boot camp (indoor and outdoor) and individual sessions. I take the boot camp at 7pm (M-F) Berthane is so kind and he really wants the best results for each person who attends. He helps you when you aren't sure of the exercise, makes everyone feel welcomed and he pushes you (in a good way!) I truly look forward to class because it is different every time (cardio, one minute circuits, stations, etc.) B is always in a good mood, answers all your fitness questions, dependable and a hard worker. Great Bootcamp classes! And indoors, too, which is great for winter.
I have taken several bootcamp classes in the area, and this one was tough---in a GOOD way!
I really felt like I got stronger and fitter in only 1 month of classes and only 2 days a week! Berhane really pushes you to be do a little more than you thought you could do, which is what makes you improve.
Highly recommended.
