Highly recommended! Wanted to give my son my old Gary Fisher but could not get the old clipless pedals off. I was worried we were going to be charged a few hundred dollars for the job. In the end, the cost to replace the pedals was completely reasonable. The turnaround time was just a few days. We're super happy and would recommend this place to everyone.

A Great Experience, again and again. We found Matt and ReCycles through CList a few years ago. With growing children the thought of buying new bicycles every year or so was not efficient. We have been able to keep the kids peddling all year. When they outgrow one bike, we either trade up or pass it down and head to ReCycles for our next one. The shop also services our current long-term bikes and keeps up rolling down the road. Give them a try as Matt is terrific.

Excellent experience. I am so glad I stopped in. I've been looking for a new hybrid bicycle for about 3 months, and everyone has been out of stock. I've been debating about going for a used one. I ended up getting myself a used Trek Multitrack Sport 700, with new tires. And he had a nice little Trek for my six-year-old that I brought home, too. He sized it for me right there. Now it's time to go for a ride!

Back in 2010, I bought a used Cannondale SR 800. It had been about 5 years since its last tune up when I dropped it off with Matt. Matt is really good with bikes, and honesty, I don’t think my bike has ever ridden (or even looked!) this good. A lot of my riding is on crushed gravel, and Matt did a stellar job both tuning and cleaning it up. Frederick is a bit out of the way for me, but definitely worth the trip. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful day planned to ride in downtown Frederick. Lots to do and lots to see. Unfortunately one of our bikes decided to become problematic about 2 hours in. Matt welcomed us into his shop and gave the bike a good look over. The diagnosis was a loose headset and a rear brake pad that was out of whack. Within 5 minutes he had us tuned up and back on track at a reasonable price. Very friendly with a nice inventory of used bikes for sale. Highly recommend!
