After working in many healthcare arenas including hospitals, home care, outpatient programs and physician practices, I am pleased and excited to offer my own nutrition consulting firm, Nutrition Connection.
I have a passion and commitment to helping my clients achieve their personal best in such areas as managing diabetes, losing weight (with or without surgery), minimizing nutrition side effects during cancer treatment, and improving quality of life through learning to eat in an educated and intuitive fashion.

Medical nutrition therapy is the practice of applying scientific evidence to the treatment of medical conditions, including, but not limited to diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, digestive disorders such as celiac disease and GERD (gastroesophageal reflux disease), liver disease, kidney insufficiency, and sleep apnea.
A Dietitian has completed at least a Bachelor's degree in science, specializing in foods and nutrition and an accredited internship. Passage of a national certification exam is then required, with ongoing continuing education courses necessary each year to maintain the Dietitian status.
Only qualified practitioners who have met education and testing requirements can use the title Dietitian, Registered Dietitian or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist.Advice given is current, credible and scientifically based. With guidance and coaching from a Nutrition Connection Dietitian, you will learn how to make simple and realistic changes to your diet and eating patterns that you can maintain for a lifetime.
