Pope John Paul II High School (PJP) is a student-focused center of academic excellence, rigorously preparing young people to be contributing members of the global community. Our school community is often described as a family, where new students are able to feel quickly at home by the most welcoming and spirited student body in the region. The PJP faculty is caring and nurturing, and we set high ethical and academic expectations of the students. We boast small class sizes in a state-of-the art facility.
Services
Our rich history dates back to St. Matthew of Conshohocken, Pennsylvania, which was founded in 1866. In September of 1863, barely two months after the Battle of Gettysburg, during the American Civil War, Fr. Richard Kinahan, pastor of St. Matthew's Parish decided to do something that no one else had ever done - open a school for the children of his parish.
I am honored and humbled to begin serving as President of Pope John Paul II High School. As you may not know, I have spent my entire career in education at institutions whose mission and purpose have varied. But what was constant among all of them and with PJPII is the quest to provide every student with the knowledge and skills necessary for success.
In a God-centered environment, we strive to cultivate the intrinsic talents of each individual, prompt each to become a lifelong learner who possesses the spiritual, personal, and intellectual skills necessary to navigate their life's challenges.

Keep in mind that PJP outsources our cleaning service. PJP has (2) Maintenance Personnel scheduled throughout the day and (1) maintenance personnel in the evening. Maintenance will do their very best to resolve issues within 24 business hours. If your request is an emergency, please use your judgment on how best to notify PJP's Maintenance Supervisor, Ron Williams.
