If I could give zero or negative I would! This place is a joke! There is no real AC for one, two the laundry area...it never worked! We put in multiple complaints while we lived there...They never fixed it, having to wash more then once and dry 3/4 times for one load is ridiculous! Working where we have to have uniforms and can't even wash them weekly! We moved in and had dead bugs still in the window, dirt in the place...also never got our your lease is up paperwork and different people said different things to us. I stayed here for one year and was consistently having issues with communication and safety. We have had three leaks in the one year. One was a flood the day before Thanksgiving. We had our oven malfunction since Thanksgiving as it was changed temperatures between 200 degrees; burning food and not reliable. (not related to leak). They came out said they needed to order a $100 part and that was the last we heard. Afterwards we sent multiple online request and maintenance calls and no follow up. We finally got it fixed 3 months later when we had to say that it was going to start a fire (because it

Management and maintenance are amazing! I have lived in other apartment complexes, and I rate them the absolute best. Their professional, and very personable.
New carpet in the hallways, and always taking care of the snow and ice. Not once have I had an issue with Prentis Estates apartments. When I have an issue they immediately take action. And keep communication.

Been living here since August of 2012 and never had any issues.. just some minor repairs once in a blue moon, other than that, it's a quiet and peaceful place to live. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. They most always have a quick answer to my question. They always keep the grounds nice and clean.. and are always on the hunt for improvements on our units. Like our foggy windows.. that's been addressed and a plan put in place for that.

Prentis Estates is the first apartment complex i've ever lived in. My boyfriend and I moved out of our parents houses and into their complex together with no knowledge of how things typically work at apartment complexes. Almost a year in now, in my opinion they are 100% the only way to go if looking for a place to live, long or short term. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Any questions we had (some I felt were stupid because I didn't know any better) they were always there to help. They are consistently doing upgrades to the buildings & grounds. Love living here, just renewed my lease for another full year! Staff is always friendly, my kids love stopping into the office just to say hello and grab a drink of water or on special occasion Harley makes a killer snow cone 🍧!! Yum!!! Friendly and fun community everyone says hello and minds their own business for the most part I have never had an issue.

As a new resident here at Prentis I was very happy with the friendly staff and how easy they made my move in experience. The first day my air conditioner met it’s demise. To my surprise it was already replaced by the time I got back with my second load of belongings! So far it has been an enjoyable experience living here and the other residents are great as well! Highly recommended.

I have a few friends who were looking for places to stay. They went with Prentis Estates and are happy with their decision. Also when people ask me where some apartments are in the Howell area, I tell them about Prentis Estates and I say to even talk to Harley who works there. Harley can help, or send you in the right direction to someone who can. She is a hard worker and cares about her job.

My wife and I moved here a little over a month ago. So far our time here has been really great.
We got a completely remodeled unit (new kitchen, new hardwood floors, new carpet) and our balcony faces the pond which we really love. Management has been super helpful with everything we've needed, so I'm not sure what some people's issues have been, I wish they would be more specific. Even the smallest requests I have made they have fulfilled (like a sink plug). Maintenance has been very respectful and always comes the same or next day. Our dishwasher wasn't working, and they gave us a brand new one
