To work properly, engines must maintain the correct operating temperature. Your engine cooling system is designed to carry heat away from the engine. Good operation is achieved by circulating antifreeze/coolant around the components where heat is generated and carrying the heat to the radiator where it is cooled.
If you begin to hear a howling or a whining noise while your vehicle is turning, it is about time to change your differential gear fluid. You see, all the wheels on your vehicle travel at different speeds as well as distance. Your front and rear wheels also travel at different distances from the other.
Over time the fluid in your brake system will become contaminated by accumulating sludge, moisture, and air. In return the optimal performance of your brakes will begin to decline and they may have a "spongy" feel as you press the brake pedal. Our mechanics will flush your entire brake system by draining the sludgy contaminated fluid.
You know the mechanic's rule of thumb: "Get a regular oil change every 3,000 to 4,000 miles." Getting a regular oil change is really the easiest and best thing you can do for your car. It adds to the reliability and longevity of your vehicle. We will visually inspect: antifreeze/coolant reservoir levels, engine air filtration system, brake fluid level in transparent reservoirs, serpentine belts, wiper blades, exterior light operation.
As part of our routine maintenance service we will check the level of your vehicle's power steering fluid. Our mechanics will be checking your adapter fittings, hoses, and clamps for any leaks. If our experts feel that a change is needed, we will drain out your vehicle's remaining power steering from the reservoir, then fill it with the type specific to your vehicle.

Need to get my semi trailer in breaks locked up.
They got me in right away it was a large bill but it was fixed right thats what matters. Ended up being a abs module wich I would of never found on my own. Have used them several times for heavy truck repairs and so far have had no regrets.

I’ve been to several shops around the Madison area for my Suburban! Everyone says “while on these bigger trucks it’s kinda hard to find the exact problem”. So I brought it to M & J’s and Tried to explain the best I could about what was going on! Thinking to myself it was something totally different then what was actually wrong!
Anyways I had defaulted brakes and brought it in and they had no issues squeezing my truck back in and get it fixed asap!
Awesome place, I love them!!!
I would most definitely recommend them to everyone.

Passing through Madison, the alternator went out on my tractor, leaving me stranded on the expressway. They showed up in less than 30 min to recharge the alternator and help me get to the shop, they dropped what they were doing, worked outside in the cold to get me back on the road quickly. They customer service was unbelievable, the work done...phenomenal! They even gave me a loaner car so I could grab lunch while they worked on the truck. If I'm in need of help again in the Madison area they will definitely be getting a call. Great group of guys!!

By far the best automotive experts (Dave is awesome!) I have ever worked with. Not only do they know what they are doing, but they were very honest & transparent with the work that did, and did not, need to be done. Friendly, polite, and knowledgeable, I will definitely be using them in the future!

I LOVE these guys!
I started taking my car here when I was in high school.
They do NOT give me the little woman treatment and are some great blue collar wisconsin guys who recognize I am on a budget.
They have loaner vehicles that are complimentary, and you can have them call you before they do anything. The best part of this is that when they call they will patiently explain the whole problem to me. They spit out jargon, but then explain what that really means. more than once I have told them I don't understand a certain part they just described and they are more than happy to explain a new
