Dr. Michael Reilly is double board-certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology--Head & Neck Surgery and The American Board of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery. He specializes in facial plastic surgery.
Rhinoplasty, frequently called a "nose job, " is surgery to enhance the form and/or function of the nose. Clinical evaluation includes the assessment of your specific nasal anatomy and your desires for change. Dr Reilly will then work with you to create a plan that aligns your goals with potential surgical treatments based on your anatomy.
Upper blepharoplasty (BLEF-a-roe-plasty) is surgery to enhance the appearance of the upper eyelids and/or to help with blocked upper vision from drooping eyelids. Clinical evaluation begins with the assessment of your specific eyelid anatomy and your desires for improvement. Dr Reilly will then work with you to create a plan that aligns your goals with potential surgical treatments based on your anatomy.
Fillers are viscous materials that can be injected into the face to improve the contour and/or volume deficits that have been created by aging. The clinical evaluation involves the assessment of the area of concern and potential options for treatment. Dr. Reilly will work with you to create a plan that aligns your goals with potential surgical treatments based on your specific desires.
Otoplasty, or cosmetic ear surgery, can be performed to alter the shape and/or projection of your ears. This evaluation involves the assessment of your facial and ear anatomy and desires for improvement. Dr. Reilly will work with you to create a plan that aligns your goals with potential surgical treatments based on your anatomy.

I am so glad I found Dr. Reilly and the ENT department at Georgetown. I recently came down with the scariest diagnosis of my life and was urgently worked into Dr. Reilly’s schedule, and everyone was so thorough and everything was so well explained throughout the visit. My appointment never felt rushed and was so glad Dr. Reilly spent the time he did with me and answering questions, going over the latest research, and recommended treatment. Communication with the staff at the ENT department has also been incredible. I can’t speak more highly of Dr. Reilly and this practice. Thank you!!!

From the moment I met Dr. Reilly at my first appointment he was extremely caring and genuine. After having a procedure 4 years ago that did not resolve my problem, Dr. Reilly wanted to take the best course of care specific to my case. He took the time to talk through the whole procedure with me and made himself available for any questions I may have. With COVID regulations, I had to be alone in the hospital and was nervous for my surgery. He made sure I was comfortable and talked through everything with me. I went to see Dr. Reilly for Botox injections and he was so calming when I got nervous and worked with me to find the right amount. The wrinkles in my forehead have already disappeared! Absolutely LOVE my results. Not only can I breathe now but I get compliments on my nose. After having one surgery at a different hospital that failed Dr. Reilly worked his magic and fixed my deviated septum. He answered all of my questions before and after surgery and made himself available to contact if I needed him before and after the surgery which was super considerate. I would hands down say Dr. Reilly is the best doctor I’ve met, and I had a tough nose to correct. I would 10 out of 10 recommend going to Dr. Reilly if you have any questions or concerns. Dr. Reilly is the best. He’s so kind hearted and takes the time to get to know you and what you’re going through. Me and my mother have been seeing him for the past 2/3 years. He does everything in the best interest for the patient. When he did surgery for my mom near her eye he did as much as he could to leave minimal scarring. I highly recommend him.

I went to Dr. Reilly in 2016 for a second opinion after another doctor to told me not to worry and come back in six months. I had a strange lump on my face. Dr. Reilly took one look at it and scheduled surgery the next week. He knew something was not right. He was able tor remove the growth through my mouth so I do not have a scare on my face. The pathology showed that I had lymphoma. He had to break the news to me and was so compassionate and kind. Dr. Reilly is a truly wonderful doctor and I am so lucky and grateful to have found him. My daughter had surgery this past May, and we highly recommend Dr. Reilly. Dr Reilly was recommended to us by another surgeon. My daughter's constricted ability to breathe through her nose and frequent sinus infections could have been remedied by two different approaches, and the approach that Dr. Reilly was recommended for involved a less invasive procedure, less recovery time than other surgeons planned to do, but also required skill and experience with this type of surgery. Requested records from Dr. Reilly's assistant over two months ago and my new doctor has not received them. And good luck getting anyone in that office on the phone. Not to mention that I've changed doctors because the last time I saw Dr. Reilly he behaved very rudely toward me when he mis-remembered me, thinking my 2nd to last visit had been my last visit. When I attempted to remind him that I had visited another time after that, and that he should have dated photos of that visit, he got very snappy and disrespectful. I get we all have bad days, but don't take it out on your patients

I was very pleased with my pre-surgical appointment and surgery with Dr. Michael Reilly at Georgetown. It involved a melanoma on my neck/throat area, and required stitches up behind my ear. Not very pleasant!! But Dr. Reilly was friendly, patient, respectful, and fortunately all went well. I just had some concerns post-surgery when my surgical site swelling appeared to be an issue, but overall had good communication with Dr. Reilly pre-surgery, with his PA post-surgery, and a good post-surgical visit. Let me start with I am not a patient - my husband is.
My hubby went in knowing he had to have septoplasty but Dr. Reilly found some problems that we were unaware of. Additionally, his catching this changed the surgery strategy and procedures so we were glad we got his second opinion.
Lastly, because his problems had been chronic and severe Dr. R was able to do the pre-op appt on the same day as the CAT and scheduled him for surgery 3 weeks out. We had the procedure done and the customer service at the Georgetown Surgery Center was fabulous!
They came through every hour with a status update

Dr. Reilly and crew were great. Quick, thorough and competent. Dr. Reilly listened carefully and made sure I understood everything related to the treatment of my condition. When it came time for surgery. Dr. Reilly reviewed everything with me and demonstrated a great bedside manner. Post-op he also made sure to update my wife. He treated her with respectful and caring professionalism. I really appreciated that. I couldn't find fault with the way my case was handled even if I tried. A+

Quick summary: more than 1 hour wait first thing in the morning. Because I had to go and was upset, the doc tells his me "I don't like your attitude. I won't reschedule or see you."
I really wanted to like this guy. I scheduled more than 1 month in advance for my appointment at Washington Hospital Center and asked specifically when I scheduled for the first or second appointment of the day. I got the second appointment. I asked how long it would take and I was told a half hour at max and I could be out of there.
I gave myself enough leeway to still get to see MY patients

Very pleased with the service and care that I received with Dr. Reilly. With most doctors you feel as if you are getting rushed during the appointment but but Dr. Reilly took his time to hear about all my symptoms and provided a very thorough checkup. He provides expert medical advice and has a very friendly and professional repoire.
