What's Cookin'
Gayle Dufour is the owner and founder of What's Cookin'. She started working at restaurants when she was a teenager in high school, and continued her passion for cooking throughout college. For twenty-three years Gayle has successfully ran four corporate cafeterias, as well as her own catering business.

Gayle founded What's Cookin' over twenty years ago and ever since then it has evolved into a paleo and gluten free friendly deli. At What's Cookin' all of the soups, meals, dressings, and so much more are homemade. Gayle enjoys taking on the challenge of finding good and healthy recipes for her customers.
Services
The Paleo Diet is based upon eating wholesome, contemporary foods from the food groups our hunter-gatherer ancestors would have thrived on during the Paleolithic era, the time period from about 2.6 million years ago to the beginning of the agricultural revolution, about 10,000 years ago.

These foods include fresh meats (preferably grass-produced or free-ranging beef, pork, lamb, poultry and game meat), fish, seafood, fresh fruits, vegetables, seeds, nuts and healthful oils.Dairy products, cereal grains, legumes, refined sugars and processed foods were not part of our ancestral menu.
The Deli at What's Cookin' is open to serve you for all of your breakfast, lunch, and prepared meals to go needs. All of our sandwiches are made fresh to order, using the finest ingredients from all homemade dressings to the fresh rolls delivered from Bronx, NY every morning. We are pleased to bring you our newly updated menu, featuring build your own sandwiches, new specialties and an all new salad menu and an all new burgers & hot dogs menu.
Here at What's Cookin' we believe every catering event whether it is a simple tray of food or an event of over 1,000 guests, the service should be friendly and most importantly the food should be delicious. Luckily, owner Gayle Dufour, has well over 20 years of catering and corporate cafeteria experience, she is an expert in high volume cooking that still tastes nothing short of being made for one in your own kitchen.

We stopped off the highway looking for a healthy lunch and we found it at What's Cookin! We enjoyed our custom-built grilled chicken salads with lots of delicious fresh toppings, and the people working there were super nice and took great care of us.

I just had Gayle and her team at What’s Cookin cater my boyfriend’s 40th birthday party. Her food was absolutely incredible. Everything was so delicious. On top of the taste her food is really beautiful. Everything was so fresh, bright and summery. I received numerous compliments about the food and questions on where I had gotten it from. Gayle was a pleasure to work with and I look forward to working with her again.

Tasty, fresh Cobb salad, less than generous portion, definitely pricey for what you get. Paid $15 with a modest tip for Cashier. Yikes.

Staff is really nice! Gayle is the best! The burger was nice and juicy and not overdone even though I ordered medium well. Fries have a nice regular coating on them. Overall, delicious food at an affordable price. Will be coming back here over and over!

Almond crusted paleo chicken, and buffalo chicken chili were delicious. Paleo choc chip banana bread was moist and really well balanced. Normally when I have an end piece, it's dry enough to be a fire hazard, but somehow this wasn't the case here. Not the quickest service in the world as they only have 2 people working the grill, near as I could tell, but definitely worth the wait. Coconut almond truffle was great, too. Picked up a veggie quiche with sweet potato crust (frozen) to take home, too.

The place was easy to find, presentable and clean inside. As a first time customer my first impressions were mainly positive. Staff was friendly and prompt, and prices were ok for the portions.
On the not so positive side you pay an extra fee or percentage increase if using your credit/debit card to pay as this is mainly a 'cash preferred' type of place. The menu prices are cash only, the card transaction pays more, but nobody said anything I just happened to read it. The menu choices I found online were very different from the actual location, and such main ordering menu is away from where you
