I lived at Tamarak for two years, & I had a mostly positive experience for the time period! All issues I had were fixed fairly fast, and staff was always quick to answer any questions or problems we had. David always lent a helping hand if we needed it, even personally checking in on my wifi access when I had an online meeting during COVID. We ended up purchasing our own wifi during COVID due to the rise in technology usage, but before that the Tamarak wifi worked amazing for us! Tamarak is one of the more affordable apartments in Tempe and very good for the price. I had maintenance issues almost every month but it was fixed promptly. I lived here for two years and it felt cozy, neighbors were nice, there was an orbit bus right outside to asu campus. The wifi was slow though after covid, so we had to get our own. David was always very kind and considerate, always accommodating to our issues. It wasn't gated, but I always felt safe.

I loved my stay at Tamarak as well as the caring manner of the manager. From my experience, they would come and check right away if there is anything they can help with the maintenance of my apt. Though, there is no gate at this complex in case that is something you'd like to consider, which I hope they will have soon. Would recommend to anyone who wants a budget-friendly apt to stay.

I absolutely love this place, however, if you are in a lower apartment you will hear the walking around above. You do not hear the talking, or music, you hear the walking because of the weak upper floor. So ,if you have a schedule where you need your night sleep and your up stairs neighbor likes to walk all night, it is an issue. Everything else is wonderful!!!!!

Since last 7 years I have changed apartments 5 times. None of those apartments come even close to how great the staff is at this place. Last two years are the only years where I have decided to continue a lease. David, Joanna and Brian are cordial and friendly and extremely accommodating. It goes without saying, and has been repeated already in comments below, the management request are full-filled immediately due to top notch professionalism of Joanna. The flat layout also makes good sense for familiy. We had a minor internet problem due to their infrastructure changes, and they agreed to deduct

These are nice apartments. Mr. White is gentleman and is a really good person. The apartments are spacious, clean, elegant and quite stylistic in comparison to the other within same price range. The management is responsive - they will go out of their way to ensure that your stay is comfortable. Insecticide control, pool, community grills, any complaints, free internet everything under control. Nice place to live real close to the light rail and right on the Orbit Mercury route. Food City and 7 eleven near by, so are the gas stations and ASU is a 10 min cycle route.

I have lived in a one bedroom with Tamarak for about 8 months now and am very satisfied with it. My boyfriend and I were a little hesitant about the complex, as there were pretty scarce detailed, recent reviews. We decided to take a leap of faith and couldn’t be happier about our decision! We did a lot of research regarding apartments in Tempe and Mesa and found this place to be one of the most affordable. Also, we’ve had a few minor fixes that needed to be done in our time here and management has handled them that day, often within hours. Location is also good, near one of the best breweries

The new managers at Tamarak are great! Jonna and David are a great asset to the property. Always friendly and willing to help even with small things. We love the new BBQ and little dog loves the pet park. This place is definitely home in the heart of Tempe. Easy access to freeways, great shopping nearby at Tempe Marketplace. I love being able to park almost directly in front of my apartment. This is very unusual in any place I have lived in the past. I recommend this place if you like quite. It’s peaceful plus I love my washer and dryer!! Keep up the good work. I just renewed for my second year

To be very clear, I have always felt safe in this complex. It is clean, affordable, and about a ten minute walk from the lightrail station. Any maintenance issues are dealt with ASAP.
The master bedroom (in my unit at least) has a large walk in closet and private bathroom. It's very nice.
This isn't my favorite apartment I've ever had, but for the price I don't think you can find a better apartment complex in Tempe or Mesa.
