Not my first order, won't be my last. Pie Perfection. The crust makes the pie, and these are almost a shortbread consistency, support the pie slice and are delicious. My go to is the Coconut Creme Pie, it's just amazing, you could literally eat the whole thing yourself it''s so decadent and rich in flavor.

Thick, flakey crust that melts in your mouth. Rhubarb everything when it's in season, strawberry, raspberry, I know I've seen others. Really good variety of desserts. That crust is good all by itself.

I ordered a LOT of pies for my wedding and from start to finish - Ashleigh and her team were professional, approachable, and provided DELICIOUS pies for me and my guests for my wedding. My guests loved each… flavor. The best pies in town, hands down! Support small and support local - these experiences with small vendors made the best experiences while planning my wedding. For my tasting, she gave generous slices of each of her pies and made sure my experience was wonderful as I chose my flavors. I pretty much rolled out of my tasting appointment!

Ashleigh’s pies are amazing!!! Her quiches are phenomenal. I recommend the Peanut Butter pie and the Bacon Leek quiche and the gigantic chocolate chip cookies. She is always such pleasure! I highly recommend.

We planned a surprise Mother's Day/Dad's birthday weekend trip from DC to KC to visit my family. I wanted to find a locally made coconut cream pie - my dad's fave - for our birthday dinner dessert. I texted Ashleigh about 5 days in advance to place a pickup order and she was very responsive and friendly.

On pickup day, I wish I had had more time to spend in Pryde's (the store where Ashleigh's is co-located). That place is a bakers/chef's dream! If you've never been, set aside some time to browse before you get your pie.

Pies are great! Crust is AMAZING! Had the Peach Pie and Key Lime for my husband’s birthday and they were a huge hit! Would recommend and will definitely order more pie’s again!

I purchased for the first time, definitely not my last. When coworkers found out I ordered, they made requests too. I ended up with crab pie, banana cream, lemon meringue and chocolate cream. It was all… AMAZING! I normally pick off the end crust, when I eat pie. I absolutely did not with the crust on my crab pie, or the banana cream. If you are on the fence, trust me...take the jump and order! You won’t regret it!!! In addition to the deliciousness, it was super easy to do business. I added to the order the day after I placed mine, and again on the day of pick up. She was so accommodating

Was able to order a key lime pie day of and it was truly then most delicious pie I've ever had. I couldn't pick which part was my favorite between the delicious filling or the melt-in-your-mouth graham cracker crust. Love that they are located downstairs of Pryde's, all in all a wonderful experience!

I ordered a raspberry rhubarb pie over text and Ashleigh had it ready the next morning for curbside pickup. It was so yummy and my husband and I were huge fans of the crust.

I can't say enough great things about Ashleigh and her pies!! She is so easy to work with and gets the job done so quickly. The selection of pies is huge and each one is as good as the next. By far the most delicious crust I've ever had! Highly recommend!

I surprised my girlfriend with her favorite "cherry pie" last night! She loved it... in fact it was the best cherry pie we have ever eaten. The crust was amazing! Also a big thanks to Ashleigh's Bakeshop for preparing the fresh pie the same day I ordered it. Amazing! I highly recommend!

Absolutely love everything about this Pie shop! Before stumbling upon this little nook, I wasn’t much of a pie lover! Needless to say, all that has changed! I find myself craving Ashleigh’s pies regularly! Hidden in the back of Prydes, the atmosphere is sweet for a date stop! We literally have been getting all of our friends to come try the pie!!

Absolutely amazing. So easy to place an order, most delightful people, and the pies are divine. A little advice for finding the Bakeshop. You go into the store above, across to the otherwise of the store, down the stairs and then cross to the otherwise. It tucked away in the basement and wasn't easy to find, but it is worth the search!!

I ordered a key lime pie from here in November. First, I was impressed that they said they could make the pie. I had called several other bakeries that said it was out of season. Second, this was THE BEST key lime pie my family and I had ever had. The process of ordering and picking up was very easy! I cannot wait to pick up another!

Best pie I have ever eaten. Literally perfect in every way! The crust is the perfect balance of crumbly/crunchy, soft and firm. It's not too sweet.
The customer service is amazing too. The cashier lady is so sweet and the random people eating there are always really nice.
It has a small and cozy atmosphere.
The only downside is that they are sold out or near out of stock every now and then, but you can always call ahead so it's not that big of a deal.

Bountiful Bakeries Asleigh's Bake Shop

The lemon shortbread cookie from Asleigh's Bake Shop located inside the iconic Pryde's green general store on the edge of Westport is perfectly balanced and not too sweet, which to me is essential. Shortbread cookies are my all time favorite kind and the lemon one from Asleigh's is one tough cookie to beat. If I had to come up with a Kansas City Top 10 Cookie's (and I just might!) then this would be on it, so would another lemon, sweet and savory combination cookie but that's for another time and review.

Having just finished a slice of decadent chocolate cream pie, I can attest to this perfect 5 bakery being worthy of each perfect rating! This quaint bakery is tucked back inside Pryde's Kitchen Store which has so many offerings for all the kitchen things - but I came for pie and didn't leave disappointed.

Since I rolled in at 4 pm on a Friday I had realistic expectations of just a few pies being left. I chose a slice of each: chocolate cream (for me), key lime (for the hubby), and berry patch (for our date night in tomorrow).

Ashleigh has perfected her pie recipes, every pie is exactly how you anticipate that flavor should taste. Somehow they are not too sweet and nothing artifically flavored is detected. Every thing is fresh, served with a smile and genuine customer service. Her pies are styled with a delicious buttery flaky lattice crust, double crust or yummy whip cream topping. I recommend my faves the Peach pie & Banana Cream. I also recommend call in orders the day before just to make sure they have what you want (better value on a whole pie vs a slice).

Quaint little bake shop inside and on the 1st floor of Pryde's coocking and home improvement shop. You wouldn't know it's there unless you went out of your way to find it, but let me say it's totally worth a little detour.

They mainly serve coockies and pies (whole, by the slice, or in mini-pie version). Strawberry-rhubard, coconut cream, classic punmpkin, chocolate German... they have a wide, mouth-watering pie selection. And, of course, offer coffee to go with it.

Seating is limited, yet cozy; it's honestly almost like eating in your favorite family baker's kitchen

This place is a gem. You take a bit of a "kitchen-land adventure" getting to it's location on the lower floor, but it prepares you for the journey your taste buds will experience once you arrive.

The shop decor is quaint and perfect. It feels like some of the food halls I've experienced in NYC. It has an amazing feel to the place.
