Helen is a member of our front office team with more than 19 years of experience in dentistry. Her specific role in our office is in billing and claims, but she is always happy to help patients however she can. She previously studied business administration at the College of Alameda. She has also taken accounting courses and is a registered dental assistant.

Examination of Diagnostic Radiographs (x-rays): Radiographs are required for detection of dental caries (decay), tumors, cysts, and bone loss, most frequently due to periodontal disease. Dental radiographs can also help determine tooth and root positions for necessary operative treatment. Oral Cancer Screening: An examination of your face, neck, lips, tongue, throat, tissues, and gums for tissue abnormalities.

This has been my favorite dentist in the 6 years I've lived here in the Bay Area. The office is clean, and staff are friendly and helpful. Parking is plentiful in the back
lot. Unfortunately I moved to San Francisco so it's a bit inconvenient to cross the bridge for this office. Dr. Baldwin has also sold her practice recently, so soon a new dentist will be taking over.

I was very disappointed with the dental services. I was told I needed my wisdom teeth pulled out. However, I had gone to another dentist before that told me that it was not necessary. I went for a third opinion and my new dentist told me that it was absolutely not necessary. So basically the dentist at Sarah Baldwin DMD wanted to get 5k from me. Thank God I went for a third opinon! On top of this I had a crown put in at Sarah Baldwin DMD and it already fell off! I recently got a text from Sarah Baldwin DMD "confirming an appoitment." I NEVER made an appoitnment beacuse after all of this

I've recently had two different visits here at this dental practice. All the staff here are very nice and are happy to assist. Dr. Wen was my dentist when it came to replacing my crown after recommending me to complete a root canal. The procedure to replace my crown was painless, enjoyable, and overall I was very impressed. I definitely recommend anyone looking for an awesome dentist team!

Greedy, greedy dental office. One example: they charge a $10 "Sterilization and hygiene" fee for every visit. This is above and beyond their already high fees and is not covered by any insurance. In my mind, keeping your equipment clean should be included in the several hundred dollars you are charging my insurance company for any procedure. I've never heard of a separate fee for this type of thing. One other example: they recommend every patient gets X-rays twice per year rather than once, even when there is no reason and your insurance won't cover it. When I pushed back on

I've been coming here for years and each time I leave, I'm left impressed and with clean teeth. The staff from check in to dental hygienists to dentists are super friendly. A few unexpected small delights include: free Starbucks gift card when you check in on Yelp, and free lipbalm in assorted flavors as you leave. Jesus, the dental hygienist, is my fave, too!

To those below and others who are concerned about prices, remember: This office is in Piedmont, CA, one of the most expensive regions of the whole country. I'm sure their rent is high, it costs a lot to pay staff, etc.
If price is truly a concern, shop around - that's your right. Maybe you will find a dentist who will do just as good work for a lower price. But don't blame the dentist for the high cost-of-living around here.

Dr. Baldwin's office is a marvel of professionalism and excellence . All the staff is courteous and very helpful .
I've been frequenting this dentist for years now and they are simply fabulous. The office is super high-tech and any procedure that I got done over there was done with outmost professionalism and skills !
I would recommend this office to anyone even if you are scared of painful dentistry procedures. Here they are sooo good you wont even know what happened !

I had some crown work done with this clinic in summer 2017. I was very inexperienced with how insurance works at that time. They seem to have contacted my insurance, got the estimates and said I should pay $500 (roughly, I don't remember exact $$) out of pocket witch I paid right away. And then they said I might have to pay some small (!) amount, and I might get a bill in 2 month. They assured me in pricing and the process. I've waited a year to write this review because I always like to give people the benefit of the doubt. However after going to my trusted family dentist for a second opinion after my visit to Dr. Baldwin I found that her and her staff are out to overcharge you for unnecessary services.
