This the second time I had to complain about this property within 3 months of the last one. My family stay there had a refrigerator go bad took 3 days to replace with a use one from another apartment which they washed out Infront of her unit. Now that refrigerator stop working on Monday and Thursday still no refrigerator plus she can't register her child on school cause they fail to list the child on lease. Gotta get they from over there. ASAP

This place has has been a problem since my dad moved in , nothing from the time he moved in on the move in check in list was never addressed, which wasn't a big deal because of the kind of work he does,so he took care of that, and that was January 2020. The biggest problem now is his stove/oven hasn't worked since March, maintenance and property manager came and inspected the STOVE and he was told he would get another,here we are in August ( I just talked with someone 2 weeks ago and said it was going to be taken care of) but I talked with someone name Parrish earlier in July and he said it was

I usually don’t do this, but I felt the need to take time out to give a review. I called the Avenue to gather information for my son as he is looking for a place for him and my granddaughter. I spoke to a lady named Colleen (spellcheck). Let me just say this, I called SEVERAL places in the area and was completely turned off by the terrible phone manner, short answers, and lack of patience. Ms. Colleen was thorough, pleasant, and did not seem annoyed with me asking questions. Her phone manner and attention to detail was excellent. I have been a Resident here for 6 years its been increasingly going down hill. I have had several maintenance request which have yet to be completed when you call they tell you they are short staff. I understand delays by a few days but weeks are unacceptable. I was also told due to my tenure here I would either have my carpet replaced or deep cleaned now I have been told that this is not something that they do after being strung a long for weeks waiting on a response as they were “looking into it”. In addition I have seen an increasing number of mice, I will say they do have pest control come

My experience with this property has been okay so far. The office staff could be better. Also management is never present its always two to three leasing agents present one of which I am currently working with named Jay. He has been very polite and professional to say the least. He has been very quick to respond and always available to help me throughout this process. I only deal with Jay. Everyone else in the office is very rude, never wants to help you, lack of empathy for future move-ins, and so on. I haven't had a chance to walk my unit yet but so far so good. Although today was very interesting

I ignored the reviews about this place because I just had to see for myself. Wrong decision! This place is a joke and they do not care about their tenants. I haven't had hot water since August and there is a rat infestation as well. They are not trying to compensate for rent and they have not come out to fix the problem! I have emailed and emailed and still nothing. Now I have to take matters into my own hands and report them to HUD and Forestville Code Enforcement!

Horrible I’ve been here since July 2020! Mice, horrible staff, property is filthy, loiters! Every day kids hang in my building who do not live here hanging out! Smoking, cussing, leaving trash, fighting!… Management does nothing I’ve been complaining for months. Apts need to renovated however, You get what you pay for! Moving when lease is up!

This Apartment complex is the worst out all in the surrey lane section. The maintenance are not trained, they are always drunk, and 90% doesn't know what they are doing when it comes to more urgent/severe issues. The Rental office staff doesn't care Just as much as maintenance. They require all these things for residents and doesn't even hold their own standards as a company or trustworthy residence. It's a spacious complex not to bad of a area, but the customer service is HORRIBLE !!

My family and I have been living here for over three years and I feel that things have been changing for the worst. when I call for maintenance to come repair the heat/air, it takes them days or a week to come out and assist us. I thought that was apart of "urgent repair" I have a great example.... NOW... 3/1/18... my husband has called for… emergency repair (at 6:30 -7pm) because our bathroom is flooded ( for the second time in a week)... water leaking from under the toilet, tub is filled with water and fecal matter.... no one came out here to assist us yet. Poor customer service! I've lived here for almost 8 years (when things were great). Once we got new management everything's been downhill ever since. If management would only take a little bit more pride in and care a little bit more about the tenants, The Avenue Apartments would be as great as it was when it was Penn Landing Apartments.

The maintenance staff is completely inept and incompetent not to mention it's a staff full of the laziest employees birthed into existence. Management has a voice, but obviously they're the splitting image of their maintenance staff.
They have a swimming pool that's as useful as a the cover to a trash can receptacle.
