Colorado recently passed landlord legislation that makes it illegal to discriminate on the basis of source of income. This includes housing vouchers through Section 8 participants. TPM did such a fantastic job managing our rental property for nearly 3 years while we lived out of state. Brad is super friendly and knowledgeable, especially when it comes to the Briargate area of Colorado Springs. He was able to find a tenant for our property in less than a month in the off season when another property management company that was clearly less familiar with the area couldn't land a tenant for months during the prime rental season. We have been renting with Timberline Property Management for 2 years now and we love them! We worked with Brad on getting a home & things fell through very last minute (issues with the previous tenant). He was extremely kind & professional, keeping us updated every step of the process & being lenient with our situation. We would’ve loved to rent from him & his team, & will try again next year! I unfortunately had a very poor experience with Mr. Butler and Timberline Property Management. I don't want to get too tedious on every detail along the way, but the highlights are:
1. He did not know what date our tenets were moving out.
I contacted Brad a month before we were supposed to move back into our house and he admitted he had forgotten this date was upcoming and tried to tell us because we hadn't notified the tenets earlier we wouldn't be able to move back into our house on time.
