I have been here two weeks and couldnt be happier. Corey in the office is as efficient and compassionate as it comes. I know Id like to believe Im his favorite tenant, but the truth is he treats everyone that way. Any issues Ive had have been handled right away, and the apt itself is a remodeled unit and just gorgeous. Neighbors in my court are awesome, very friendly atmosphere. Everyone smiles and waves. Honestly i don't understand the bad reviews. And for the record, THERE ARE NO MICE. I have seen a few spiders but i also have a basement unit and there is refular pest control. I wish both pools

Be aware that they are mice infested now!!!!!!!! Didn’t have mice until the new management came in. You can ask anyone here. They all have mice. Don’t apply if you want mice in your apartment.
Response to owner : You clearly have mice because I lived there. Don’t lie to these people. You have signs on the doors about the mice problem. We can go back and forth if you want too I’m all for it !

Ac has been broken for a month and maintenence has done literally nothing about it. They finally show up, only we weren't home and they just let themselves in without notice. I come home, find them tearing up my hallway carpet, and I tell them to leave. They refuse to do so, one member even getting in my face and threatening me.
I will be pressing charges. Do not come here.

I moved in about a week ago, and so far the price is good for the apartment and overall experience. Maintenance is short staffed - it took them a few days to fix my fridge. The location is relatively secluded and very quiet; I rarely hear my neighbors. Jordan from the leasing office is very friendly and helpful, although extremely busy, making communication slow. I've called multiple times and gotten no answer. The apartment itself is newly renovated. The biggest negatives are maintenance and management kind of being all over the place.

Will be moving out the end of this month and can’t wait! Only been here for a year and it was fine but I’m not paying almost $1000 for rent with no renovations. You can move into a home for that much WITH A YARD which is exactly what we are doing. They are racking up the rent so they can go around in their little golf carts and try to “fix” stuff. Well the renovation underneath me has been going on for about 6 months with unnecessary noise at 7 in the morning while my kids are still asleep.
I just hope your new doors are big enough to move my furniture OUT!
They’ve done weird renovations

The Avenue 5 company has derailed these affordable apartments in just a matter of months. Our rent has been increased by around 100$ with zero renovations done to the inside of the apartments here, and is expected to increase 300$ more AGAIN after they "renovate." In the past year, my basement apartment has flooded twice when it rained, and they had to replace the whole carpet, which molded after 3 days and it took them almost 2 weeks before they even ripped it up and replaced it! The insulation is bad and the walls are thin so you can hear everything going on next door or above you. On top of

Avoid moving into these apartments, they recently changed management and it's down hill, rent increased to from 825 to 950, without any changes to the unit.
Rent will go up to 1200 eventually and this place is just not worth that kind of money, bad insulation, thin walls, bad parking, noisy as anything. The previous management team wasn't perfect but they definitely weren't as heartless and horrible as these people. Avenue 5 is the their name, you dont have to take my word for it just Google them, they do this to people all around the country.

After nearly 10 years living here. New owners come in and demand we all get unnecessary renovations. Keeping our units as they are is not an option. They jack rent up to $950 without doing any renovations only until our unit is renovated to which it goes up again to $1200. For buildings built in the 1960's with constant pipe ruptures, simply remodeling is not worth a $400 monthly increase in rent.. Ive had at least 2 leak incidents per year for the last 3 years. When questions the staff compared the prices to wealthy areas with building that where constructed within the last 15 or so years. I would

Terrible place to stay. When loyal residents leave, you have a major issue at hand. This is the start of the end for this place. Stay away, especially if you have a family.
