I'm giving this park a 4 because it seems they have tried to make something as good as it can be under some pretty difficult circumstances. The park is mainly (90%) concrete surface. The bathrooms were clean but very dated. But the elephant in the room is the traffic noise. Holy cow ! The park is immediately under three major Interstate bridges. It just roars incessantly 24 hours a day. Pretty little river, the Guadalupe but man so glad we were only there for a couple of days. Nice attendants. Maybe I should have said 3 ...oh well. Good luck. Bring your ear plugs.

NOISY NOISY NOISY! This "resort" is NO resort and is set between TWO highways. I have no idea why they have a near 5-star review because it's just awful.

Update to include review below;
We finally were able to get our full deposit back from Carla, the owner of this “RV highway pay & maybe get to stay” (As it is far from a resort and as you can see from Pics, it is no Ranch either) with our creditor on the line.
Carla on a recorded line, gave -multiple- dishonest statements. She said she knew nothing of the review I left and that isn’t true.
She then gave contradictory cancellation dates and we never canceled, they did in fact do exactly what I stated below.
Bec she was so belligerent to my husband & I, I had to forewarn our creditors before

This is my favorite camping spot. The management team is top notch and always willing to help out with anything and everything you need. In addition to being right on the river amongst huge cypress trees, the RV pads are quite large, and the location is ideal. I can order food delivery and since I don't like to cook each and every meal while camping, this is HUGE!
I read other reviews about traffic noise but I've never had a problem with it. Honestly, it sounds like a river running.
I have been to many RV spots and I must say this is the nicest and one that I will continue coming to for years

Only stayed 1 night. Tried to stay for 2 but fully booked. Under the bridge so heard some sirens and loud car sound, but right next to a beautiful river. Fished, but didn't catch. Wish we could've stayed longer.

We enjoyed our 2 week stay here despite our first tornado 🌪 warning since we've been traveling in our RV. There is a nice bathhouse you can hang out in if you need one. 🤣 Clean for regular use too! Beautiful surroundings by the Guadalupe river with ducks and even saw some deer on other side. The staff and park hosts (and full timers!) were all friendly and wonderful.

Don't give these people your business! We made a reservation, and called back just a few days later needing to cancel because our daughter is sick-10 days in advance of our expected arrival, and they charged us a 50% cancellation fee!! During these crazy times of Coronavirus, all of us business owners need to be better- and extend these courtesies to families who are struggling. We are business owners, and we have altered our policies to assist people during these challenging times. There are other places on the river with better customer service. We'll definitely be giving our business

Easter weekend was a blast. This was our first time staying here and we will definitely be coming back soon. The grounds are clean and the sites are well maintained. Wild but friendly ducks roam the park looking for hands out. Bring some duck food or purchase a small bag for a dollar in the office. They seem to greet newcomers quickly. A female goose will make her presentation squawking and attempt to intimidate you. Don't give in or turn your back on her or you may get goosed. Shoo her away and you'll be fine.

Clean, well kept grounds, and spotless laundry facilities. You do hear I35, but it becomes background noise and you don't even notice it after awhile. The resort is right on the Guadalupe and they rent kayaks. It's a very peaceful part of the river and perfect for kayaking.

Great location. Staff is really friendly. Clean bathrooms. WiFi is a little weak, pretty typical for most Rv parks. Great river on edge of park. This place gets booked up so make sure to call in at least 2 weeks early.

I recently had a 4 day stay at this park and was impressed with the cleanliness of the sites. The owner(Jimmy) and front desk(Julie) were very friendly and helpful. There isn't much to do at the park but a pool would be a big assert. Road noise wasn't as bad as most comments stated. This is more of an adult park and I appreciated that.

River Ranch RV "Resort" (notice the quotation marks)

This is a decent RV park; however, holding themselves out as a "resort" is a complete OVERSTATEMENT.

There are no resort amenities, no pool, no hot tub, no clubhouse. They are, however, located right on the Guadalupe river, though they have made no improvements to their area of the river.

For men, there are two showers and one toilet, which is hardly adequate for a park with 50 sights.

Again, this is a decent PARK, but a resort, it is not. You are packed in pretty tight. From the door of my camper to the door of my

Excellent RV resort! This is our favorite getaway location. It's close to everything. "Care free RV", the staff is very friendly. Very clean and close to river for those who are interested. We called to come a day earlier and the staff accommodated us very well. Be careful with young children as the river is very close.

Very clean all concrete/cement facility. With marine hook ups . They are still repairing some amenities and facilities from storm and flood damage. Very pricey even during off-season. management and "park posts" have poor communication skills and are just out right rude. But if you need a place to pull into; arent on a budget and don't mind gruff, unhappy and rude people -- you'll find this an acceptable stay.

The park is located between 2 bridges with constant road noise. Too many petty rules for a park with hardly no visitors. I would not recommend this park unless your just traveling thru one night. Not very pet friendly managers. Fence around park is broken and knocked down in many places so security is not a plus in this park.

Awesome place!! Right by the River. They have a new management team whom are very nice. They just had a previous team that they let go of for problems. Super clean bathrooms and really close to everything. Now no problem with late check ins. Definitely the nicest rv resort in New Braunfels!!

We Will never stay here again. We made reservations for our anniversary weekend. I received three calls before we got there concerned because we weren't going to be there by 5pm. We're working folks we don't even get off till 5:30. I was told that wasn't their normal policy to have people come in after 5:30. REALLY? Then the host was very rude and short with my husband about his motorcycle. For your information don't be so pre-judgemental; we belong to riding club that everything we do is donated to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, we have delivered Christmas

Stayed in this little RV park this weekend. Staff are pleasant to deal with and they escorted us to our site. Camp hosts came by and talked for a few minutes. We were concerned about the road noise but it did not bother us. Overall, we enjoyed the cleanliness of this park and would stay here again.

Great little RV Park in New Braunfels! Very clean bathroom and showers and super nice people that run the place. Right on the river, nice dog walk area, wifi and cable included. Only thing preventing a 5 Star is the road noise from I-35 but nothing major.
