It had to be an Italian restaurant; Chef Bruce Moffett knew it as soon as he stepped foot in "the Villa." People had gathered in the historic home for good food, fine wine, and great company since the doors first opened in 1926, and he couldn't wait to carry on that tradition with Stagioni: flavors and experiences made in the moment, steeped in the legacy of grand parties.

The food and service are impeccable worth every penny you spend. We had the onion soup, salad, charcuterie, lobster, short ribs, and pasta....
A smorgasbord of deliciousness!
The service was perfect and the wine selection a bit pricey, but you already can imagine that at a 4Star restaurant.
Get ready to have a memorable occasion when you done here.

For our starter we had the wood fired pizza with pepperoni and sausage and got to experience the unique pizza scissors. Enjoyed Gnocchi with Duck Confit and the Pork with Risotto entree. All three of these menu items were sensational. Also tried their Boulevardier cocktail and it was very good. The only knock on this place is that it is pretty expensive for an interior environment that’s very well done but not offering some special view, location, or ambiance — but the food really is top notch and service was on point. Go for the incredible food and enjoy the conversation with your significant

Stagioni's is not the traditional American-Italian restaurant. They have a refreshing take on Italian dishes and very well thought out combinations. Even the traditional dishes like pizza and bread are somehow effortlessly elevated. Needless to say, we love Stagioni. It is our go to date restaurant. Oh and I almost forgot, drinks are also amazing!

We had reservations here on a Wednesday night. The place was packed.
The manager was so helpful in decanting our wine for the evening.
We enjoyed the meatballs (so soft and tasty), the rigatoni, the angel hair alle vongole (my husband switched out his pasta), and the chicken thigh. Everything was well prepared and delicious.
Would definitely recommend.

This was our first visit and will definitely not be our last. My mother was in town and we wanted to take her somewhere nice and cozy in Charlotte and Stagioni fir the bill. My only complaint was the price of the wine. I can buy the same bottle for $27 elsewhere when the Stagioni price was $80.
The food was TOP NOTCH and our server was exceptional. Better have a reservation though because you'll be waiting forever if you don't.

Food and ambiance is on spot. And yes the place is really good when it comes to quality of food. However what was disappointing was...this being a fine dining restaurant , they ran out of chicken for a prereservation.
There was no regard for the notes been added to the reservation being a birthday celebration. And the desert was really disappointing.
What was good... cocktails are really good. I had to have a fish rather than what i was looking forward to ie chicken. But the fish was really nicely cooked and delicious so compliments to the chef. And so were the mushrooms.
So a note to place

We came here for our anniversary dinner, and it was just perfect. We started with the raw oysters and squash blossoms. The squash blossom dish is unique, and was one of my favorites of the evening. Then we went with two pastas and the swordfish for the next course. I can’t remember the name, but the truffle pasta with porcini was fantastic. Favorite dish. We ended with the zeppoli, which was a fairly large portion compared to the other dishes. Five dishes plus dessert was the right amount for us. Great meal and service!

I know Stagioni gets written up as being one of the 10 best restaurants in Charlotte, but I didn't have the best experience last week. The food is good, but generally commercial grade pizza and Italian food. We had an 8:15 reservation and I was informed that I need to order all my food because the kitchen was closing. I just felt rushed... if the staff is looking to go home they should not take reservations after 8PM.

I really wanted to love this place as I've heard so many good things about it. But our experience didn't go as well as I wanted to. We tried three different appetizers and they were all amazing. We had high expectations for the entrees, the tagliolini was good but not something you would come back for. The Linguini would've have been good if the noodles weren't undercooked, twice. I told the server about it and he took our plate away and replaced it with a new one. But the new plate has the exact same issue. My gf didn't even finish it so we just asked for the check and left. Overall the food experience

Went here for the first time yesterday and it was one of my greatest dining experiences in Charlotte.
Me an my girlfriend sat outside and it felt like we were in Italy. We tried several things from the menus and everything was superb.
The only thing missing from the photo gallery was a video of our APPLE GINGER "STAGS BOOZY ITALIAN SODA FLOATS"

I have went to Stagioni for several occasions and look forward to it every time. I have great things to say about the service and the atmosphere.
I was very disappointed when I ordered a pizza there last night and started chewing on what I think is plastic. It was baked into my pizza.
I would never post this because I do think this is a great place BUT I left a voicemail for the restaurant last night and no one has responded. You think they would be more concerned about serving a dish with plastic cooked into it...
Sadly, I will not be dining here again.

We sat outdoors in November which was a little chilly. We had an early reservation. Even though no one was seated inside we we were told that there was only outside seating available. It took awhile to get the outdoor heaters going. After the rough start we did enjoy the meal. The meatball appetizer was , well a meatball. The ravioli appetizer was delicious. Overall this was a good experience for our anniversary , but with the price we would not be able to eat here often.

So many people love this place, so we decided to try it for our last special occasion.
Covid-19: you can order and pay online. Pickup inside was easy.
We got the Beef Carpaccio, Pepperoni + Sausage Pizza, Truffle Tagliatelle.
The pizza was by far our favorite. The sauce was a little sweet and the cheese was fantastic. I loved the pepperoni cups and the crust was actually flavorful.
The Truffle Tagliatelle was good, but it needed more sauce. A lot of it was pretty dry. The Beef Carpaccio was just ok for me. There was barely any beef.
My biggest issue was the portion sizes. Everything was tiny

My wife and I have been looking forward to trying Stagioni Four Seasons of Food for a few months now. And after several missed connections, we finally found a chance to celebrate a late valentine's day dinner there.
My wife and I enjoyed their Pepperoni + Sausage Pizza, Beef Carpaccio, and Truffle Tagliatelle. While I enjoyed everything, I feel compelled to share the Pepperoni + Sausage Pizza was my favorite.

Absolutely delicious Italian food even for takeout! I was worried that without the nice ambience at the restaurant the food won't live up to its fame - I was wrong! We ordered meatballs & oysters for appetizers, tartufi pizza, tagliolini & tonnarelli carbonara - everything was fantastic. Highly recommend!
During covid, you need to make a reservation in advance for dine-in. Otherwise, you can place an order online for takeout. I don't think they do takeout orders through phone. We tried to call but no one picked up the phone.
