I more than recommend living at Modera Sedici! Here are the reasons:
1) In the 7 wonderful months I've lived there, I never had any maintenance issues.
2) The manager (Josh) and the entire concierge team were always extremely helpful, kind and courteous.
3) The building was very responsible in terms of COVID precautions so that I always felt safe. (Plus, there aren't too many floors, so even when you want to take the elevator by yourself during the pandemic, there are no long elevator wait times).
4) It's just a BEAUTIFUL building. I especially loved working from home in its courtyard. (My

This was the most friendly, responsive and reliable leasing team I contacted in DC as I was apartment searching. I think a positive living experience starts with management, and you are clearly in good hands here.
This is one of the most unique rentals you will find in DC. It feels like a sanctuary apart from the city buzz. The virtual tours are extremely helpful, and I recommend setting one up if you're considering living here.

What an incredible investment the Mill Creek company made in the Adams Morgan/Columbia Heights neighborhood -- they spared no expense in the remarkable renovation and adaptive reuse of the former Italian Embassy and Consulate. The apartments are beautifully designed with large windows and lots of light. The cabinetry and appliances are what you would choose if you were outfitting a home you owned. They really did such a great job aesthetically, and practically. I have my own washer-dryer, double sink in the bath, large shower/soaking tub. To make it even better, the management REALLY cares

The building has a beautiful vibe of the great artists of the Italian renaissance mixed with modern amenities. Very convenient location. It's priced well for the luxury. The leasing/sales person, Carl, was extremely nice and accommodating even tho I showed up without an appointment. He was friendly and knowledgeable.

The common areas are amazing. It would be nice if the apartments were finished to a similarly high standard... but that is never the case. As it is, the apartments are very nice; better than most in the DC area. It would be nice if the gym had more equipment but, otherwise, the amenities are quite nice.

Just had the pleasure of touring the beautifully renovated Modera Sedichi. The historical architecture and charm combined with modern apartments including brand new appliances make this building hard to beat for those looking to lease in the district. I had the opportunity to tour the building with Carl, who was both professional and incredibly personable and maintained an in depth knowledge of the architecture and historical context of the building. If the design and charm of this building were the sundae, Carl was the icing and cherry on top. 10/10

The Modera Sedici is one of a kind. A renovated historical site paired with elegance and charm, nestled in the beautiful and exciting Adams Morgan neighborhood. I was very impressed with this property from the moment I started the tour. Carl explained every detail behind the renovation with the utmost professionalism. After the tour, I knew this was my new home. I cancelled all scheduled tours for the next day and sent in my application immediately. I could not be happier about being part of this community and for finding this gem in the city.

The Modera Sedici apartments are breathtakingly beautiful. My husband and I were given a terrific tour of this former Italian embassy by the knowledgeable and charming Carl. He led us from the stunning lobby, with its soaring ceiling and contemporary art, to an even more stunning library and a jaw-dropping salon, its modern, whimsical furnishings popping against hand-plastered walls. I moved in to an apartment at Modera Sedici on March 20, 2019. I love my apartment! It is beautiful and perfect! Carl is amazing! He is incredibly helpful and professional! Brionna, Brian and Sabrina have also been amazing and helpful! I recommend renting at Modera Sedici! It is beautiful and the staff is amazing!
