My name is Jack Kirven, and I'm a Mobile Personal Trainer in Charlotte, NC with 18 years experience as a Teacher, Wellness Coach, and Writer. It would be my privilege to take this journey with you!. The first, and therefore most essential pattern, is breath. You can survive weeks without food and days without water, but only minutes, or even seconds, without air.

There are many symptoms of dehydration, because a lack of water impacts everything in your body. Are you hungry, despite eating recently? Our modern world has made eating far more complicated than it needs to, and has become a point of confusion for many people. There is no mystery: Eat healthful foods in sensible quantities.

I'm Jack Kirven, and I wrote "Fitness: Fundamentals: 8 Essential Patterns" to give you intimidation-free steps on how you can incorporate better eating, moving and thinking into your everyday life.Start with my eight patterns to help you set goals and design your own fitness journey - no frills, fads or false promises included.
Wellness and fitness are interconnected. All of these patterns influence the balance or imbalance in the others, so be sure to address all of them as you build a healthy lifestyle. This is the non-secret of the great gains you get when you INTEGRE8T Wellness! I help people make gradual improvements to each of these, so that longterm habits have a chance to take hold.
I was literally a bouncing baby boy, so my parents got us trampolines, gymnastics lessons, and dance classes. After graduating high school, I moved across the state. Then after college, to the other side of the country to study dance and choreography at UCLA. I spent a lot of time back and forth in Europe during these years, too.
When someone chooses me as a mobile in home personal trainer or wellness coach, I make it a priority to understand their history. This helps me understand where they are, and then I can guide them toward their future goals. When my clients succeed, I succeed. It's my goal to help you achieve yours.
Sometimes they help, these nuggets of wisdom. They remind us to think bigger and to get outside of our current patterns and assumptions. These are some of my personal favorites. A few are familiar to many people, some are firm, others are poetic. Hopefully they will encourage you to remain committed to the long term process of achieving your goals.

Jack is a great trainer. He is very patient and understanding with people new to fitness or those getting back into shape. He is also able to train experienced athletes. Jack is not afraid to challenge you to grow and become a better version of yourself. I would highly recommend him and his approach to all fitness levels.

I met Jack when I moved here to Charlotte because i wanted to keep going on my fitness journey and explore new ways to workout. I moved here from Seattle where I had a trainer for 3 years and was happy in my workout routine but wanted a new perspective and change things up a little bit. Jack and I talked and were able to work out ways to incorporate my current training program into a more global fitness attitude. I’ve worked with multiple personal trainers, but Jack has far surpassed the others with his focus on my individual goals and ability to create a wholistic program that goes beyond just the sessions we spend together. Jack is a phenomenal trainer. The thing that I like most about training with him is that he makes lifting weights less intimidating. He starts by doing an initial assessment and exercises to see where your fitness level is, builds your diet and exercise plan, and he continuously tracks your progress each workout. Could not ask for a better experience!

Jack is a wealth of knowledge and makes training fun again. I am a former figure competitor with a bachelors degree in Exercise Science, yet, Jack was still able to teach me new science based concepts in every session!
