Located on private property along the picturesque Connecticut shoreline, the Guilford Yacht Club is a stunning venue to host your event. With a large stone patio and gracious lawn overlooking the water and large reception area with hardwood floors, GYC can host events for up to 180 people. Chose between our spacious ballroom, cozy bar room or host your next meeting in our boardroom.

With a gracious lawn overlooking the water and large reception area with hardwood floors, we can accommodate weddings or special events for up to 160 guests inside or up to 300 guests under a beautiful tent on the grounds.Our venue is available to anyone to host a private event, not just yacht club members or those sponsored by members.

GYC comprises individuals and families desiring a friendly social atmosphere and share a passion for boating. The Guilford Yacht Club and the Unit Owners Association of the Guilford Yacht Club are two separate and distinct entities which together manage and run the Guilford Yacht Club. Although some members of the Guilford Yacht Club are boat and/or slip owners, this is not a prerequisite for membership.
The Guilford Yacht Club (GYC) is located at 379 Whitfield Street in Guilford, CT and is an organization devoted to promoting interest in yachting and related social activities. It is dependent for its well-being and successful operation on the support and cooperation of its members and their guests.
Guilford Yacht Club offers some of the most modern amenities available to transients on Long Island Sound. In addition to spacious floating docks, each slip is equipped with water, 30amp/50amp electricity and wifi. Also available on the premises are showers, restrooms, tennis courts, a picnic area, a luxurious swimming pool and a pump-out station.
