Dr. Gamalinda enjoys working with patients of all ages, providing a wide range of dental services, from routine check-ups to implant restoration and general cosmetic dentistry. He puts a premium on communication, meaning he'll work with you to help you understand your condition and which treatments might best suit your needs.
I always knew I wanted to help people, but it's hard to know what that means when you're young. Growing up, I was drawn to the arts, but I also had a love for science, especially biology. Now, I love my job as a dentist because it combines my passion for science with the opportunity to help people on a daily basis.
Our office is open Monday through Saturday, with hours that can accommodate most any schedule. We know that your time is important, and we work to ensure your visit is scheduled as professionally and quickly as possible. We know dental emergencies are never convenient or timely and we are committed to our patients' health no matter the time.
Your first visit to Today's Dentistry involves a few special steps so that we can get to know you. You'll find all the practical information you need, such as a map and directions to our office, practice hours, payment policies and more. There's also background information about our committed staff and our first visit procedures.
2. Between appointments it is common (and not a problem) for a small portion of your temporary filling to wear away or break off. If the entire filling falls out or if a temporary crown comes off, call us so it can be replaced. 3. It is normal to experience some discomfort for several days after a root canal appointment, especially when chewing.

Dr. Gamalinda is just fantastic! You won't find a more compassionate dentist anywhere. He keeps his knowledge up to date, and has demonstrated precision and skill as he has treated my various dental conditions. Dr. Mark Gamalinda is HANDS DOWN, MIC DROP, the best dentist in the business. From the second I was born, my parents taught me that I needed to get my cleaning done every 6 months. Being 32, I've moved multiple times after turning 18 experiencing many different offices, and he is the best I've experienced so far! Dr. Gamalinda is the only doctor who takes the time to review the dental hygienist's work (Also the best cleaning experience of my life!), thoroughly check the health of your teeth and gums, and educate you on the current status of your overall health.

Great dentist. Very informative. Creates helpful analogies to help my visual mind grasp material thrown my way. He saw me when I was in severe pain on a Saturday a couple hours after I called, panicked. I’m so grateful for that service, it changes the trajectory of my dental health journey. I didn’t have insurance for nearly a decade - and unfortunately it shows. I was hopeless, skeptical and catastrophizing- now I’m hopeful, trusting and planning.

We've been patients at Today's Dentistry the last couple of years (we started before the pandemic) and we are super pleased to have finally found a dental practice that we can trust where the whole family can go to get an excellent dental care! Dr. Gamalinda is absolutely amazing and we especially appreciate that he takes time to explain any issues that we have (he's found a few issues that we didn't know we had, such as an impacted molar in our daughter's mouth!). In late June, I was in a bad bike accident. My two front teeth were pushed back. I was able to be squeezed in around 3 pm - day of appointment. They brought me back to assess me, Dr. Gamalinda said there was a whole series of actions to take. I explained that I was about to leave town for a week. And he made a plan to do what he could that day. He was very nice and explained the whole thing to me very simply. I’ve been going to Dr Gamalinda for the past 3+ years. As someone with extensive teeth issues, I was looking for a local dentist that was affordable, had strong and transparent communication skills and offered highly quality care. I definitely found that at Dr Gamalinda’s practice. From fillings to root canals to teeth whitening, their staff communicates the recommended care simply and patiently, is transparent about costs and timeline of each procedure and ensures that I feel comfortable.

Dr. Gamalinda explained everything to me perfectly and made me feel super comfortable. I came in with the worst tooth pain ever and came out with the tooth gone and no more pain. I was able to schedule my appointment last minute the day before and now I feel so much better the neAll the staff were super friendly and I'm excited to keep this place as my regular dentist.

I would love to thank Dr. Mark Gamalinda And his staff for giving me the best experience I've ever had. I have had horrible experiences before and was frightful going back to anybody but I needed to go back to have a root canal done as soon as possible did my research and someone close to me had recommended him and today got my root canal and he was wonderful and very patient! Dr. Gamalinda is a crook and a con-artist. The disorganization of his office led to him starting to extract a tooth of mine before asking me to sign a waiver of any sort. He quickly left when he realized with the front office person what had happened and did not come back for another half hour. He bounced back and forth between another patient and me for the whole operation (I was getting a tooth REMOVED) and repeatedly would not numb my mouth until I screamed from the pain. The equipment he uses has paint chipping and peeling all over it and the overall sense one gets from this place is that

I have been coming to DR G for 5 years. I have even moved out of Andersonville and I still come back.
I have had nothing but positive experiences. The staff is friendly and helpful. They don't try and pressure you to get work you don't need. I come in twice a year because it is so easy.

I've been seeing Dr. Gamalinda for about 2 years now. He's simply the best dentist I've ever had. He is also an excellent practice manager. Staff is excellent, and I have never waited for too long before being seen. Plus, there's a variety of tea and coffee in the waiting room (but don't be surprised if you get called in before you finish your cup!).
I also appreciate that Dr. Gamalinda uses the best dental imaging technologies to detect problems before they get too painful and costly for the patient. He makes sure to keep you informed of

The only thing that could justify 1 star -- showing up to a closed office when you received 2 email confirmations and a text confirmation for an appointment on a Saturday. No one picked up the phone when I called.
I was heavily relying on this appointment and scheduled to accommodate it, and now I'll have to completely reschedule (with people who actually honor their appointments) for a much needed procedure.
They seem like good people, so I'm hoping they can make this up to me somehow. I'm sure you would be frustrated if this happened to you.

I have pretty severe anxiety about dentists, and let the staff know when I arrived for my first checkup. Throughout some painful procedures they were calm, gentle, and continually asked how I was doing. Dr Gamalinda has excellent chair side manner and was the first dentist to not shame me for anything. Highly recommend.

I went here for a wisdom tooth consultation because it's down the street from my house. I heard good things about the dentist so figured it was worth a try. For scheduling, they called me Thursday and were able to get me in on Friday. The lobby was very clean and comfortable and the staff was all extremely kind. I had two separate dental hygienists working with me before Dr. Gomalinda came in. He talked through everything with my and then he worked with the staff to make the oral surgeon appointment for me so I wouldn't have to call. He scheduled a follow up appointment for me so I could

I had taken care of some cavities with Dr. G and one or two other things. He was always very nice with me, responsive, caring (in a sense) and somewhat welcoming. You could see $$$ in his eyes, LOL.
After going to another DDS for an evaluation for braces, I had told him how Dr. G charged me for veneers on my teeth.... behold... no veneers found

My experience wasn't a very positive one. When first checking in, the receptionists were friendly, though the dental assistant which was going to clean my teeth seemed almost annoyed that I was there. She was quite young, under 20 years old I would guess, and did a very unthorough job with my cleaning. I ended up needing some cavities taken care of. While there, the office was very loud and busy, and the doctor (Gamalinda), seemed running back and forth between different patients while I was in the chair. While working on me, the procedure felt more like a race-car pit stop; and felt rushed

As an out-of-state student, I had no idea where to look for dental care. After having my wisdom teeth extracted back home, I developed an infection/dry socket when I returned to school. I was sent to Dr. Gamalinda's office to have it checked out, and I am so glad that I did. Not only did he and his staff provide timely and effective care, but also they were so understanding and comforting when I didn't know how to proceed or had any kind of question.
I highly recommend Today's Dentistry, and feel lucky to have found such a great dentist away from home.

Just had an absolutely great experience! Literally just moved to Chicago yesterday from AZ. Needed an emergency extraction and, as it turns out, root canal. Not the greatest of days (it was also 8 degrees).
Couldn't have asked for a more friendly, inviting staff (even brought me out an additional small space heater because I was still cold while I waited).
