It is so hard to get an appointment right now and I was able to right away with this guy. He fixed my bike up quickly & it rides very smoothly now.

The brake calipers need to be centered and the pad position must be at the correct distance from the rim.
It is so hard to get an appointment right now and I was able to right away with this guy. He fixed my bike up quickly & it rides very smoothly now. I was very impressed with his work & customer service. I would definitely recommend getting your bike fixed with him not just for the good work, but for the convenience too!

Rick and Peggy thank you! I haven't rode a bike since I was about 10-15 years old, now at 29 I decided to purchased a road bike for work commute needs. I was looking for someone that could get the job done quick and very soon considering I was spending close to $15 a day for Uber rides and many shops I called around had a turn around time of 2-3 days.. Rick & Peggy were quick to reply and communication was great throughout! He was punctual and kept me posted on his arrival time.
I had 2 bikes that needed some TLC; both were not being used for a few years, and were outside just taking in the elements which thank God it's more mild here in San Diego! I also had my daughter's new bike that we purchased for her for Christmas that Rick assembled for me! He works quick but diligently, and is honest with what is needed on your bike! Very friendly & great to chat with as well!

Being new to San Diego, I had been looking to get an older bike tuned up. After calling a few local bike shops, I was disheartened to hear it would be a few weeks before I could drop off my bike. Luckily, I found Ricks mobile bike service, so I sent a text asking when they can service my bike. I got a response within the hour saying they could service my bike in two days. If you are looking for a responsive, easy to work with business owner who charges a fair price for excellent service, then you'll find it at 4 Wheel Bike Shop. Got some bikes out of storage that needed to be tuned up, tubes replaced, and got some kickstands put on. Rick is now my go-to bike servicer. Great guy and service. I could not ask for more. I don't think I can trust anyone else handling my bike aside from Rick. I messaged him last week, we set up an appointment, it was so convenient and saved me from so much hassle since he has a mobile bike shop.
He was punctual, gave me a heads up of his ETA, and when i saw his bike shop, it was pretty awesome, you can tell that he is organized and clean. Right off the bat, he knew what my bike needs, and ( i thought i only had shifter problems) he changed the tape of my handlebars because it was a mess, and after taking care of the bike's problem, i hopped in my bike, he also saw that

Couldn't be happier with Rick and the mobile service he provides. Rick was able to tune up two special bikes for my family. Rick came to the appointment right on time, shined up the bikes and got the brakes working, tube replaced and chain lubed real good. The difference was night and day. I have one more project that I plan on putting together and I know who I plan to get to put it all together.

I wish I would have known about them sooner! I started using 4 Wheel during covid when bike stores were slammed. They were extremely responsive right away, flexible with scheduling, and efficient in service. The best part is, they come to you! They're very knowledgeable on all types of bikes. I utilized them to fully tune-up two carbon fiber Giant road bikes and they've truly never ridden any better. Highly recommended!

Switched from upright/road bikes to recumbent, had to order one online which needed to be assembled. In 3 messages (2 on Yelp / 1 text) I had an estimate (lower than me bringing it in to someone else) and appointment. Great communication throughout- Rick was running a bit ahead and gave me choice to arrive early. His truck is better equipped than 90% of bike shops I've been in. He had already downloaded and read instructions for that bike before he arrived, assembled it with care, made a couple great suggestions and adjustments -- all faster and better than I would have. Ricks a great guy, very communicative. I had requested 3 quotes from different businesses and I felt Rick was the best because he goes to your place to fix it. Opposed to others, where you have to drop off your bike and have like a 1-2 week turn around. plus as I stated he was very communicative and informed me of his pricing.
He gave me a time frame of 12-2p and he gave me same day notice when he was on his way. Which I appreciate. He said he would arrive by Noon and was exactly on time. We initially said we had two mountain bikes to tune up with a tentative 3rd one of our daughters mountain

I bought a used bike and wanted to get some info on the bike, get the bike tuned up and re-tape the handle bars. Rick was super knowledgeable with everything the bike needed and not needed. We live blocks away from each other so that was great too. If you want to get your bike tuned up and looking and feeling great, THIS IS YOUR BIKE GUY!
