Inside Pilatesblue's bright, clean studio, you're the focus, and your 1-on-1 workouts can be as light or challenging as you like. Jump on the cardio tramp or zoom in on strength and mobility. Owner-educator Jaime k. Ullman teaches Classic NY & West Coast Pilates methods and includes High-Intensity workouts.

Sessions include mat work, conditioning and circuit training -- customize your own! Because with a great workout, anything's possible! Jaime believes your workout should be the highlight of your day! With undivided 1-on-1 training and attention at her private studio in Culver City, you'll see faster results than in a group class.

Like you, I've been searching for the perfect Pilates studio. As a lifelong dancer, I fell in love with the stretching and strengthening benefits of Pilates 20 years ago, and have felt inspired to share its balancing and rejuvenating effects with as many people as possible ever since. Along the way, I've met wonderful instructors and had some brushes with perfection, which have all inspired my rewarding approach to the ideal Pilates workout.
You may have heard that Pilates can make you leaner, more toned and more flexible. It's not just hype. These safe, beneficial exercises were created by athlete Joseph Pilates (1880-1967) to strengthen and elongate your whole body while sitting or lying down. With Pilates you can build muscle, improve balance and flexibility and even JUMP without straining your knees, ankles or other sensitive joints.
Everywhere we turn, we're told it's an exciting time to be alive, especially if you're a woman. We women are the athletes, breadwinners, educators, life-givers, ministers, scientists, warriors and even CEOs of the world. We have more opportunities than ever before. But with opportunities come choices, and choices can bring indecision and doubt.
Like yoga and Tai Chi, Pilates emphasizes a positive body / mind connection through exercise, breathing and mindful awareness. But what if you could combine these Pilates benefits with the intentional framework of mental coaching? Then you'd have the best of both worlds, wouldn't you? That's the inspiration behind the "30 / 60 Session, " a unique, blended, 1.5 hour opportunity I created to empower your body and help you achieve your goals.
In 5 sessions, you'll increase your stamina, add more reps, learn the why and how of Pilates and its language. Often, "feeling better" is what gets us hooked on Pilates! Your muscles feel stronger, your body is more aligned and your mind feels clear and stress-free. The Dalai Lama said, "The purpose of our lives is to be happy, " and, to me, that's the real benefit of coaching.

I was recommended to Jaime when I was looking to Pilates to help with both a back injury and de-conditioning due to a long term condition. Jaime's lifetime of experience, and knowledge of the body and how Pilates can support strength and healing was exactly what I needed. The work I did with Jaime reconnected me to my body and encouraged my confidence in what I can achieve physically.
I would recommend her personal sessions to anyone looking for individual support to regain or improve strength and flexibility. Fabulous!

I've known Jaime for many moons. We first met when she was teaching a group workout class over a decade ago. I immediately connected with her - loving both her teaching style and playlists. Let me assure you...this woman knows her craft. Her workouts always vary so I never get bored and it's a full body workout every single time. I've also done 1on1 live classes with her at her home studio, as well as virtual group mat classes. She has such positive energy and always takes a moment to connect with you. I recommend working with her in any way you can.

I wish there were more stars to highlight, I would give them all to Jaime! I found her through a Google search of local private Pilates in my area. It was still mid covid shutdowns, and I had not taken a class in 5 years. I wanted somewhere that felt safe, and could get me back in shape to take some group classes in the near future. I made the commitment for myself and bought a 10 class package. From the moment we met, I knew this was the best gift I had given myself in a long time. I met Jaime in Mexico for a Pilates retreat earlier this year. I was optimistic to reinvigorate a fitness practice that was sporadic for the past 15 years. Jaime's Pilates mat classes in Mexico were an excellent introduction to her style of teaching and her joyful attitude. I felt comfortable moving at my own level. She offers gentle corrections to guide you, so you improve and you also feel safe. I'm not a yogi and have struggled with committing to fitness as I've gotten older. I feel like Jaime makes it easy to continue showing up to class because I LOVE her classes - they are challenging, fun

Jaime's workouts are intense and her attention to detail is phenomenal!! I am sore after EVERY class. Highly recommend taking a class from Jaime, you'll leave exhausted but feeling proud of what your body can do.

Jaime is an incredibly inspiring teacher, even over VC! She does a great job giving explicit verbal instruction so you can picture where your form needs to be, how you can make adjustments, and where to push yourself. She is also hands-on watching our progress and suggesting minor tweaks to each part of the class. Her ability to strike a balance between fast flow with fun/music is amazing. She challenges you, but it's not impossible. It's definitely great to see the progress in my own abilities as a direct result of her coaching. I always feel so good after class!

I've been working out with Jaime for over 12 years and it's been amazing. First in studio and now with quarantine over zoom. Her knowledge on pilates and your body is perfection but her humor and kindness makes the class even more enjoyable. The zoom classes have kept me sane in an insane time but I look forward to continuing even after things open. they are just as effective and can see a lunch break pilates zoom often in my future as I don't have to worry about travel to/from a studio.

I have been doing pilates for 4 years. I recently moved and had to find a new studio. After trying many places, I took one of Jaime's classes and had one of the best pilate classes ever! Her precision with breath, focus and body ailment take her classes to another level. I can see the changes in my body and I look forward to my classes even though I know how hard it can be!

Absolutely LOVE Jaime!!!! As a physical therapist, I can be very judgemental about a pilates instructor. She is wonderful!!! Very knowledgeable and always giving modifications if something doesn't feel right in my body that particular day. She is also one of the kindest people I know w/ a personality that makes you drawn to her. I have rearranged my work schedule so I can make her classes weekly. I always get the best workouts and leave with a huge smile on my face!!!!

Jamie is truly the best Pilates instructor of all time! Somehow she manages to bring comic relief mid pain and give detailed instruction to each person by name helping everyone correct their form. Jamie has so much knowledge about the body that even when the class is packed (which it always is) she is able to give modifications to the various injuries people in the class have. Her humor makes it even more fun & her attention to each person gives it a private lesson feel! I basically just follow Jamie wherever she's teaching! Love her!

Jaime Ullman is the vey best pilates instructor I have ever had. Taking a class with her is like taking a private lesson. She keeps a watchful eye on everyone in the class. Her cues and corrections are amazing. She is able to conduct all levels from to beginner to expert without missing a beat. I am drenched at the end of a class that goes by so quickly! She is engaging, fun and thoughtful. She is the only class I take. She set the bar very high. Love this lady!

Jamie is an absolute darling!
I've been seeing Jamie for tandem (with my mum) and private lessons for almost two years!
In private and 2 on 1 sessions Jamie ensure you get the full attention of Jamie's expertise.
Jamie customizes each session to your needs, goals, and progress made. She's very attentive, jovial, kind, all while still enticing you to work your butt off! I have a recurring shoulder/neck injury and Jamie's customized her training to fit my capabilities, build strength in muscles around the impacted area, and checks in on my progress even when I'm not at

Jaime is an absolutely wonderful and loving spirit, with a generous and kind heart. I was new to the pilates landscape---and LA had so many different studios and cultures to choose from, it was overwhelming. I called several studios to try and get a consult on how to go about getting my feet wet, and Jaime was the only one who called me back and took the time to answer my questions and help me better understand what pilates is about. Simply said..Jaime knows what she is doing! She is one of the best Pilates instructors I've come across. I tend to follow her wherever she is teaching a class whenever I can.. and I am never disappointed. The workout is always different, challenging different muscle groups in different ways and taking me to the next level. She is a trained professional who is also super creative and passionate about using the correct form to avoid injuries but also to really work the targeted muscles. She also has a way of engaging both mind and body which makes for a super-effective class and amazing results

I've been taking classes from Jaime for a few years now and absolutely love her! When I first started pilates, she was one of my first instructors and really helped me learn the basics and proper form - the work outs were so incredibly challenging I wasn't sure I could get through them. I persisted and began to see my body evolve, getting stronger and stronger. I look forward to Jaime's classes - her demeanor is the right blend of strict and fun - she gently corrects your form, reminds you where to focus, and approaches class with positivity and humor. My wife and I train as a couple privately with Jaime.
Never fails. At some point during the session the combination of Jaime's carefully controlled work out, multitude of wise corrections on form and constant banter causes me to burst out laughing and totally screw up.
Never fails. We leave the sanctuary of her wonderfully equipped private Pilates gym and the challenge of her careful supervision feeling completely energized, like we've just flown through miles of happy super oxygen clouds.

Jaime is a premier pilates instructor with an amazing energy and passion for what she does. She has amazing technique, and a plethora of knowledge that spans beyond pilates.
Each sessions has variation-there is always something new to do and learn to isolate every part of the body.
As a sufferer of chronic pain/ligament issues, it was important to find someone with the ability to push me and help me build strength, as well as be cognitively and energetically aware of my body- Jaime does all of the above and more! Her studio and presence make you feel invited and inspired to work hard.

JAIME is really the BEST!!
Great variation of Pilates exercises each time so you will never get bored!
She will CHALLENGE you to do your best.
You can tell she has/does Pilates from her heart and soul. She is so passionate about what she does and you will feed off of that energy.
BEST of all, she will get that BODY in shape!! I have seen wonderful results in all areas of my body (recent post-baby).
I am so happy with JAIME and I could go on and on, but, well, I have to go catch another one of her fabulous classes!
