Ugh ok here we go. I'll try to keep this as factual as possible. Now I will acknowledge that part of my frustration is a desire for bigger space, but, I got here Feb 2020 and the rent has gone up $35 and I have a 1 bd 700sqft. Not bad but I am squished. The kitchen is too small to function. The dishwasher touches the opp cabinet and so does the fridge door. My dry foods are competing for space with pots and pans. I have bought 2 additional things to free up cabinet space but it just won't do. That one cabinet in the bathroom is just not enough. That's an issue because even on a

Wilshire Heights works for me. With the tree-lined streets, it doesn't feel like apartment living at all. The apartments are spacious (1,500 square feet) and well-maintained. Should a problem arise, Toni Management is quick to respond. The location gives easy access to New Orleans and is less than a block from Fresh Market, Office Depot and Walgreens. I've been here four years and can't imagine living anywhere else.

I’m only giving it 1 star because I have too. This place is NOT kid friendly. My children aren’t even allowed to play on OUR porch. The neighbors harass my children every time they go outside. One neighbor in particular has taken photos, has recorded them and has gone up to them to tell them to be quiet. I have informed the office and Hortencia the property manager about this but it seems as she always takes this particular neighbors side. If you have kids I highly suggest not to move here unless you keep your kids inside all the time or you’ll be getting letters to your door. This is more

We've been residents of Mark Twain 2 for about 14 years, first in a 1 bedroom and now a 2 bedroom. Over the years the staff has always been kind and courteous, and the property nicely maintained. The neighbors are quiet and friendly.
We're very happy living here. At times we forget we live in an apartment.

I recently moved to whilshire apts after a friend recommended that i should take at least a tour of the place and i decided to move here,on tour i l instantly fell in love with the place but now that ive lived here for about 3 months im sure ive made the right choice.the area is wonderful and safe the neighbors are friendly and quite.haven't had any problems with anything in the apt but did have a clogged toilet one day and called the front office for maintenance to let them know and it was fixed on the same day by a handyman off the building. Ive lived in a couple of different apts before moving

Avoid, shady business practices. Was told when I moved in if I stayed half my lease I could get out with a penalty. Was told I had to give a 30 day notice. While living here for two years I guess they changed both of those things without informing and burnt me on both a two separate times. Walls are paper thin. Cheap price, you gets cheap place with unprofessional staff and nickel and dime business practices.

E in the Mark Twain 2 apartments on the third floor and last night was a nightmare from hell. I had and huge amount of termites coming out of my air conditioner!! I mean at least 100 of them! So I called the office last night to report it but they didn't come until today. Then the guy said they can't do anything because they're dead. Well yeah.... because my fiancé killed them before they came to check out the problem! He then gave me a card with a number on it and with a smile on his face telling me if I need anything give him a call and not the office. I was so offended! Needless

I do not live here. My review is only pertaining to my experience with the management office located at this complex. The women in there are incredibly rude. They do not greet you. They do not smile at you. One woman answered her cell right after she begrudgingly asked us what we needed. Then while she was on the phone the other woman also begrudgingly asked us what we wanted and in doing so could barely contain an eye roll.
