It's not all you can eat, the portions are small, expensive (with drinks ended up being $100 per person, and we left semi-hungry), and then the service staff insists on cooking for you. What that means is that half of the time you're staring at an empty grill, and the other half the meat is burning, because the staff is running from table to table to cook for people, and doesn't pay attention. When we tried to cook the meat by ourselves (as we saw it burning), we were told off pretty aggressively and staff had no problems serving obviously burnt to crisp meat pieces into plates. Impressed as we entered, nice ambiance nice dressed waiters. As soon as we sat, things went downhill....except kalbi everything else, meh....espically soondae was mushy/no flavor. Appetizers, asado came out after our main meal(salty). Ambiance, couldnt enjoy due to tall bench seats, felt as if we were in a room of our own. Expensive which i dont mind if it meets the expectations. To top it off, the owner disappointed us by the way he represented himself (golf attire).

I am usually not fond of giving five star reviews but it's been quite some time. The food was good, just had the sampler #2 for me and my guest and I was hoping to try the kimchi jiggae dish but I was already full after the steamed dumplings.
The waitress was very kind and got a little busy but I am glad to have come in before the later evening rush.
Lots of irregularities during covid especially with the new mandates about vaccine mandates requirements that have taken place. I am glad the restaraunt is following protocol to ensure that my friends and family are safe.

I'm literally standing at your front entrance waiting to pickup my order that's been ready for the last thirty minutes and am ignored several times. A couple was seated five minutes after I arrived and no one comes back to the front. There's no line and it's not busy. And when I do get my order it's a poor apology about there being a misunderstanding. There was no misunderstanding as there was NO ONE at the front of the house. Waiting thirty minutes for an order that was already complete and no host is poor service.

People have been trying to keep Ombu for themselves! There's no other reason that I didn't discover it sooner. I'm really upset that I didn't know from the start.
Anyways, Ombu is DELICIOUS. When I tasted the kimchi jjigae, I felt like the food critic in Ratatouille when he tasted the soup. Flashbacks to when I was a little girl in Seoul.
The staff is working so hard. I feel badly that it's hard to get more help. But they are DOING IT. I see you and give you extra love.

Where do I begin? This is my favorite Korean Restaurant in LA. ! It's a cool fusion of Argentinian asado and Korean BBQ! The side dishes are sumptuous, and I highly recommend the salad, filet mignon, and the boneless short ribs. The wine list is limited, but the soju drinks are a good distraction. I come here 1 hour before closing to avoid the crowd. Service is top-notch. The meat will be prepped and cooked for you! 5 stars.

Dinner was delicious and the sampler set for 6 people was delicious and perfect for our party of 6. Unlike the AYCE places, the wait staff will cook the meat for you. I'm fine either way. I did appreciate the fact that they had smokeless grills and you don't leave dinner smelling like dinner.
A great experience. Definitely worth it. All the meat was tasty. Ribeye was a hit.
There is valet parking available. Otherwise, test your luck in finding street parking.

A friend recommended this KBBQ. What I love about this restaurant is that the meats are quite good especially their rib-eye. By far that's my favorite. So many banchan to choose from.
Denton took care of us. He made sure everyone's having fun and well-fed. We had a great time chatting with him. He made us laugh non-stop!

They have sets for you to pick from depending on portion. We got the smallest one for two people and we were stuffed. Had to throw in the towel and pack it to go on our last two meats.

This place is my favorite restaurant in Korean town. I've been this place 4times already in a month. I thinking this place is better than Daedo sikdang in my opinion.
Ribeye (4/5) never disappointed this place ribeye. So juicy and soft. If you're party of 2 person. 14oz is enough. They meat was a lot than other places.
Fillet mignon(5/5) so soft and this is one of my top of favorite food here. I would recommend this to all.

We had a very pleasant Korean BBQ dinner at this place in Korean town. I was glad that the seafood choices were so great. The menu was extensive with good varieties. It was easy to order for either small groups or big groups.
We decided on a bottle of sake and two Terra Korean beers. Hubby and I really like Terra beers. For food we decided on a medium meat sampler and a seafood sampler. It was a lot of food for the four of us. Our server was very friendly but he was a bit slow at first. Our meat almost got burnt if we didn't pick it up from the grill in time. But he picked up the speed later

My friend wanted to eat here for her birthday party, so we came here with a group of about 10 people. Since it was my friend's birthday, she ordered all the dishes and drinks.

I am unsure how this place has so many good reviews. I'd like to say they were understaffed or having a bad day. I came here 5/17/21 at 7:30pm (usually busy dinner time hours for kbbq) upon walking in there was no staff in sight and only about 2-3 tables filled in the entire restaurant.
After we were seated no one came by for at least 15min to ask us for drinks, give us water or bring out side dishes. Thank god I preordered the "asado" or else we wouldn't have anything on the table for at least 40min after seating.

Such a fantastic restaurant!! You definitely get what you pay for with this place. The meat was high quality and cooked to perfection, the staff always asks how you want the meat cooked and then nails it! The staff is always friendly and willing to accommodate any request. The inside looks amazing and like it has great ambiance so it's a little disappointing that my first time there was during outdoor covid dining. They have a pretty good selection of wine as well which isn't typical of a kbbq restaurant but the Argentinian additions to kbbq make this place even more amazing! Highly recommend giving

Our main server along with a few others attended to our group well throughout our night and provided excellent service. We did not have to flag anyone down or wait long for anything.
They also had an unexpected inspection this night, which I can only imagine the added stress it might've gave them but I'm not worried that they passed with a great rating. Everything was clean and the food was great. It isn't AYCE, which means

I have to say, this is one of the best Korean bbq places I've ever been to. The quality of the meat is fantastic, wayyy better than a lot of other places in ktown, the service was awesome, super nice waiters who helped cooked the meat, and overall just a great experience.
We were looking for somewhere we could reserve for a large table of 8 and they were one of the only people able to accommodate last minute.
Will definitely be back, can certainly recommend to anyone looking for good Korean bbq

I had no idea what a delightful treatment I fell in to.
Definitely on my top best Korean BBQ restaurant I have had in a very long time. The food was breath taking and the service was beyond of any expectation!

Food is great and delicious. Seems like this place has Galbijjim with cheese as the popular item. First I really wanted to try but the portion was very big. The waitress recommended that we might need to 1 or 2 more people to finish it. Thus, we decide to go with something different. Spicy brisket and spicy short ribs are dished we ordered. However, it is still big. we could not finish it

Amazing food, amazing service. We originally had reservations for Valentine's Day at another restaurant, but after waiting for an hour for a table after our reservation was supposed to start, we cut our losses and left, only to find this gem. We got seated immediately and had water and wine in front of us within 5 minutes of walking in the door. Love love love. Wish I could post a picture but the food was so good there was no time elapsed between it being placed in front of us and it disappearing into our mouths.
