10/4/21 - had to take away two stars. normally order guacamole fresco. Today it looked as if someone had been eating in the bowl that they brought to our table. Will not be ordering this again. Not worth $10
By far the best Mexican cuisine in Charlotte. Very clean establishment. Quick and courteous service. Huge portion sizes. Good food that is very heat hot and delicious. The chips are thick and crunchy and the salsa very delicious.

My favorite place ever. I've been coming here for about 4 years now and I absolutely love it. Service is fast and staff always very nice to me. I always ask for Lucia because she is just amazing and a wonderful server. The young lady with glasses that is always at front is very nice to me, she always recognize me and remember the table that I like. The manager always checks on me and my family every time I go there to make sure everything is okay, which is very nice. They always make me feel welcome. The food is tasty and warm and the margaritas are delicious. Highly recommended!!!

The chips were hot and the salsa were delicious. Fresh guacamole was to die for. My husband had a Chicken Burrito filled with rice and beans, topped with tomatoes, lettuce and a dollop of sour cream that was enormous in size and fabulous in flavor. He tried his best but only managed to eat one half of this dish. I had to go for the Combo of Chile Relleno, Pork Taco and Chicken Burrito. I assumed these 3 dishes would be miniature in size. Good service and margaritas in Charlotte. Im not a fan of their combo burrito, enchilada, tamale. Tastes like caca. Just order the tacos and guacamole. The beans and rice are good also. They're a safe bet. I went to the Ballantyne location. The staff were personable and really cared about our experience. Order the Dos Patrones margarita. Not overwhelming menu. Families, friends and even a sweet 16 party was going on...fast service! A safe bet!

I LOVVVE authentic Mexican food. This place really knows it's products and services because the food and service was great. The layout and presentation of the restaurant are consistent with historical mexican foods and artifacts. Coming here, you can't help but be immersed in the art work, language, food and ambiance that surrounds it. Coming here you'll feel like you've taken a quick trip to Mexico. Highly recommend this place to anyone who doesn't think mexican food is good and those that love great mexican food, equally. Either way, you'll leave happy and anticipating your next trip back.
