Excellent service and food. We celebrated a birthday. We had a wonderful meal. The only thing that needed work was the creme brulee. It needed a thicker layer of sugar. Still delicious.
They are always consistently good. I love their service and staff. They even accommodated us as we arrived a little earlier than our reservation.

Came here on a friday night and it was pretty busy and most people who came had reservations. I decided to get the burger to go. It took a little while to get my food given that it was a bit busy. The food was good, the burger was nice and juicy but the sauce was not evenly spread out. And the fries were good but had coarse salt so some were a little saltier than i would have liked. Overall though, it was very good and the restaurant looked really nice too

I'm not the biggest fan of Italian food but this restaurant was not bad. I did think it was kind of cramped aka the tables were all pretty close together. They had salt on the table in an open container which is kind of strange as multiple people may grab at it because of salt bae craze.
My painted hills burger was not bad actually with the meat being cooked to rare like asked. The pizza was pretty flavorful and the cream corn pasta had a sweet flavor.
That being said, the food and atmosphere wasn't quite my cup of tea but that's just my opinion.

A++!! Truly the scallop entree - get it. Some of the best scallops I've had! Seared to perfection. My boyfriend got the baked ziti and he ate every last noodle. The ambience is nice, light but comforting.
The ONE thing I'll say is both times I've been the service is on the relaxed side. Nothing has been super quick but honestly it was kind of nice to have a non-rushed evening. We love it here!

I’d like to travel Portland because of this restaurant. This place is worth for it. Me and my wife had a birthday dinner here around 6pm~7pm at the outdoor dining, the golden sunset and soft breeze made our time fantastic. Of course the food were delicious! If I lived in Portland, this restaurant would be our anniversary dinner place. Close to the shopping street and excellent food, a must visit place if you travel Portland. Especially, at the sunset time.

Exceptional kitchen, excellent service, and an above average bar made for a pretty awesome two evenings in Portland.
The cheese ravioli's butternut squash sauce was deceptively light. The shrimp pasta was cooked perfectly and in a nice light sauce, not over sauced, as well.
Eric, at the bar, turns out some yeoman-like craft cocktails, coffee, and creatively curated wines.
Dessert was awesome, from the creme brûlée, to the panna cotta.
Service was excellent. My only complaint were the chairs with the jute seats, located in one part of the restaurant, fit for a monk doing penance

Easily the best meal we had in Portland! The restaurant has a nice and warm ambiance and the staff was very helpful. We loved our server Tony, who was informative, attentive, and fun.
We started the meal with splinting a kale salad. The addition of apples was perfect. The cherries were subtle, not too tart, and didn't over power the salad. The dressing was perfectly coating the salad, but it wasn't wet. And we appreciated that the kale was actually slivered rather than the usual chunks. The attention to detail was great.
I then had the duck, and my fiend and the spaghetti with shrimp

Good ambiance and service, food is pretty average Italian. We arrived 20 mins early for our reservation and was asked to return at our scheduled time and when we did, we waited 25 minutes to be sat. The lamb/pork ragu radiattori pasta was unfortunately way too salty to enjoy, but the arabbiata pasta was slightly better.
I can't rave about our experience enough to recommend it, but we could have just visited them on an off night.

I'm actually so sad that my review is horrible as I had been wanting to come here for so long.
We came as a group of 4 here for dinner tonight
Post COVID with indoor dining back in effect
Ordered the mushroom risotto (two orders) with truffle - a scallops (two orders) and fries and the finished meal with creek brûlée and the chocolate cobbler and lattes.
Everything was flavorless. I can end the review with that. The best part of the meal was the creme brûlée. There was barely any mushroom or truffle oil/flavor in the risotto. The scallops were over cooked and super chewy and did not
