Barnett works with us on a personal level instead of just a Service Level Agreement. Barnett has done a great job with our HOA in Medina.

Barnett Management, Inc. provides comprehensive Property Management Services for Residential and Commercial Condominiums, Townhome, and Homeowners Associations, The properties that we currently manage range in size from 12 condominium units to over 1000 units and are located throughout Northeastern Ohio.
Collect all monies due the Association by any legal means available (liens, courts, etc.)*. Administer all transfers of units, including Letter of First Refusal, insurance certificate transfer and welcome letter to new owner with association fee, payment info, what is covered, etc. Plan and attend General Meetings including reservation of hall if necess, Resident notification and proxy.
The Design/Architectural Review Committee of your Association, in accordance with all Association Deed Restrictions, requires that you first obtain written approval from your Association. Indicate on this map, the location of your proposed addition, include a description of the addition, with accurate dimensions, specific materials to be used, colors and other design notes.

Critical: Professionalism, Quality
Terrible service. You ask for help and they lose your email. No accountability either. Snowed 18 inches last weekend and our street wasn't plowed. Didn't do our driveways or walks as contracted either. Matt is defensive when things go wrong. He is just awful to deal with.

I needed some documentation for a mortgage process and was assigned to speak to Nick Yodice. I have dealt with Barnett in the past and it’s not always been a pleasant or productive experience but I can say Nick has changed my opinion. He worked until he got my issue resolved and stayed in contact with me during the entire process to keep me informed. I appreciate the follow through. As this management company is my property's new HOA, I've been trying to get help setting up the online payment. I had a few simple questions and I don't seem to get a straight, helpful answer. Just want to be scheduled for payment by the due date and not be charged a late fee. I was transferred to another line which turned out to be a dead-end. Oh well.....! Not a very personable employee who answers the phone.

I had the pleasure of working with Joe Wheelock, our Master Associations Property Manager, when I sent in a fence application for my property. He was very polite, professional and kept me up to date constantly. Even though, the HOA Board member(s) kept coming back with question after question (some of which was probably none of their business), he handled it very well. It was starting to get out of hand and I was starting to get frustrated but he said he would take care of it and he did. Finally, after 7 weeks, yes 7 weeks of the Board asking questions, they finally approved the application. Joe

Myself and a second party have been reaching out to Barnett Management for a document that is needed on one of the properties they manage. They do not return phone calls or emails, if they do respond they are short and unhelpful in the situation. This is not the first time I have had this problem with this management company. I would not recommend contracting them to manage your property

As a contractor we work with a lot of different HOAs & Management Companies, all are not the same. We have about 200 permits & HOA approvals a year that we need. Barnett Management is fast and responsive. I work a lot with Matt Williams. He is always responsive with us and lets us know if we need any additional information about our projects. Often I think it's a two way street to make a great customer experience and Barnett Management holds up their end of the relationship. Thank you always for your time and help with our projects!

I have been calling and leaving messages for Matt to return my call for 3 months now, but maybe he doesn’t get any of the 8 voice mails I have left for him?? Whomever answers the phone is extremely rude. They charge ungodly fees that they have no explanation for. Projects they promised would happen (that money was collected for 4-5 years ago) still haven’t started but they cannot explain where the money went..
