Nice little place but it was the worst latin food I've ever had. The penil was flavorless and the ropa vieja was tough and flavorless. Even the appetizers were bad. I was extremely disappointed.

I love the food, drinks and service here. It’s refreshing to see a staff that actually is attentive and cares about good experiences, they understand customer service.
The tostones rellenos with ropa vieja are so good and garlic shrimp with bread. This place feels like a real authentic Cuban spot. Great music too!

The drinks and atmosphere were good. Jared our server was great! He was attentive and was ready to remove or get 2nd rounds if desired. The food however was not warm. We dined inside but somehow the chicken nachos and morro rice and steak were a bit cold. We thought at first it was just the appetizers but when the entree arrived unfortunately it was the same. However everything was good.

This place is a perfect example of money being more important then the actual food ! The food is very under seasoned and over priced I can get the same food 100x better at the rumba. Stop over charging people and focus on the flavors. Also want to mention that I’m paying $27 for a skirt steak that’s smaller then my hand. Super disappointed won’t ever come back.

The food is fine, but is it even legal to charge customers a 4% credit card processing fee, without a warning?

The Calle Ocho salad and Zacapa mojito made up for the wait. Plan your visit because this place observes social distancing and capacity limits. Their outside seating area is nice size.

Became a ritual hang out because of their fish tacos and plantains during happy hour. The staff is super nice and it’s usually frequented with the locals crowd. Location is a little ways down from the main grove street crowd so feels like a secret only a few are “in” on. Do not get the flan - it looks good but no.

The outside sitting area is reasonably sized and the tables are not on top of each other which is great! The Piña Coladas and the Margaritas are Amazing (we only went out for drinks this day) Javan was our server and he was so delightful, courteous and very attentive! Can't wait to go back 😊

Love this place! The mango mojito was exquisite and the food, YUM! Highly recommend. It is right by Newark Ave so a bit busy and loud with the car traffic but I didn’t mind, I had a great time. Service was good too.

Delicious food and very generous portions. The restaurant had a very authentic feel to it and our server was amazing. Unfamiliar with Cuban cuisine, he explained a lot of the dishes and how to eat some things.
