I just went on a Sunday night dinner to this place . I have had better days here and assumed the same this time. But boy I was wrong. The goat paya which was our favorite here was very salty and doesn’t taste anything like we tasted earlier. Chicken fried rice was so tasteless. Naan and side dish were ok . I probably might not be returning. This is a wake up call for the restaurant to make some action on their food. You are clearly going downhill sir !!

One of the worst services we ever had in any restaurant. It took 25 minutes for the appetizers to come and then after waiting for 30 minutes for the main course they said we'll check and no one came back to tell us what happened. 10 minutes passed, and we asked again, and they said they forgot to give the order in the kitchen. We canceled the order, and they didn't care or even apologized. They just yelled from our table to the kitchen to cancel the order. Never going back again.

Food (5/5): I go here frequently due to their partnership with Seated and being one of the few good restaurants that partner with them in the area. So whenever Seated has a promo, they're the go to since the other Seated restaurants in the area are terrible. Having tried many of their dishes on the menu, most are high quality, flavorful and delicious. My favorites are Chicken 65, Samosa Chaat, Butter Chicken, Moong Dal Halwa, and Goat Rogan Gosh. They also have delicious naan and Hakka noodles.

Venue (5/5): Spacious venue with plenty of seating. Reasonably clean and comfortable. They host

We ordered veg (mix veg kohlapuri) and no-veg (2 chicken dishes) including Gobi munchurian. Everything was very tasty. No complains. My husband visited this place second time and he was pleased both times with the food taste of different dishes. Lunch buffest was delicious as well. Definitely will go back.

I went this place two times. First time in the lunch buffet with my nephew and second time for dinner yesterday. Both the times we had a great food. I even took my guests from Texas as well and they also liked it. You cannot be wrong by selecting this restaurant. Their veg and non-veg both are excellent. I had Veg Kolhapuri and it reminded me the real taste like in India.

For my first time in little India, I was blown away by how many restaurant options there were and got a little overwhelmed, so my friend and I went into one of the first sit down restaurants that we saw.

I tried the Malai tomato soup as an appetizer and it was so delicious, literally the best tomato soup I've had in my life! My friend ordered the samosas and said that they were great.

For my main, I asked for a fish curry suggestion and I let out server know that I was looking for something spicy. He said he'd ask what the kitchen had and I let him know that any of them would be alright

There is no zero star choice, so it gets a one star. My son and I went there on a few nights ago. Maybe because we are not Indian, we go lousy service and lousy good. The spices on the tandoori chicken were not cooked through. The sauce that the few malai kofta was floating in had an odd flavor. The pakoda were overly salted. What a mess! Should have sent it back. We eat Indian food all the time and figured we would try someplace new (we usually go to Rasoi or Honest). Never again.

The lunch buffet here is awesome. Initially I was a bit hesitant, but the kind of Biriyani and other dishes I got , I was amazed. Both the veg and non-veg are equally good. I have taken a-la-carte here too and the food is awesome.

Delivery order came on time. Haleem was almost cold and had more bones than meat, but was still tasty. Irani Chai was upside down in the bag and half of it had spilled. Fortunately, it was paper bag and everything had Saran wrap.

I've never had a worse biryani in my life. I ordered the 12.99 chicken dum biriyani, and that $13 of my life I'll never get back.

The lack of flavor and the disunion of all the spices made it a very bad experience. It honestly tasted like Ghee rice with a little extra garam masala. Given the lack of spice there was way too much of a greasy feel from the ghee.

Remember that the highlight of biriyani is meant to be the harmony of spices. The point isn't to have some chicken and rice.

The Raita tasted like vanilla yoghurt with onion in it.

On the bright side the chicken was

The best Hyderabadi cuisine I ever had in US, just one thing chicken 65 must be categorize in spicy level 1 2 3 as my American in laws couldn't enjoy it.
But for me being hyderabadi it was the greatest chick65.
Chai will remind you of nilofar cafe or taiyabaat cafe

Loved the saag paneer, smoked eggplant and the dal soup. Can't wait to go back to try other things. You might have to wait a bit when you do takeout but it's worth it.

Overall a good place to have a good buffet with decent amount of choices. Chat options provided are a plus. Biriyani is also good along with the sides/appetizers provided. This is a mix of both North Indian and South Indian dishes. Drink provided is usually a tea along with either tang or lemonade which is a plus.

Knocking down a couple of star as they were not able to provide the 20% discount for first time checkin via yelp, was informed that it was only for takeout. However it was not mentioned in the fine print. Have repeated this place multiple times but tried this checkin today for review

I was looking for unique food that could be delivered as I was staying at a hotel in Newark and didn't want to leave. I found Golconda Chimney because it was a rainy day and not many places wanted to deliver, and I ordered via the Yelp app. Boy, did I luck out!

I ordered the Lamb Hakka Noodles, a Mango Lassi, and the Kheema Naan and Chicken Stuffed Kulcha. Portions were large and delicious, with complex flavors and spices. I'd recommend everything I tried.

If you want delicious Hyderabadi Biryani in Jersey City, this is your place. The haleem dishes are really good too. My next recommendation might sound strange. It's the chicken hakka noodles from their Indo Chinese selection. The chef definitely knows what he's doing. If I have to impress my friends with Indian cuisine (esp Hyderabadi), I take them here.

Really nice anda biryani! Rather than just boiled egg, they garnished the biryani with anda pakode, which was a delicious touch. We started with the hara bhalla kebab, which was also super tasty (unfortunately they were out of the veg seekh kebabs we were hoping for). First time trying katti dal (Haiderabadi style) and I will do so again.

Only disappointment was the gobhi Manchurian which was just way too salty.

Will return to try the other kebabs! So hard to find good veg kebabs in the city - as a vestige of Mughal cuisine, kebabs tend to be best in India's Muslim areas (the Pakistani restaurants

Never expected a below average food here, I had once before which was avg and expected this time to be better. But no improvement with further degraded taste. Chicken tandoor is a wet version, not dried as usual. How ever the size courses were ok, but rice was horrible. How can u make biryani from regular rice instead of basmati rice. Even the lemon rice and steamed rice was smelling like if the rice is pretty old stock. Plus, the cost is too
