I've been looking for a new place to live since June. I've done tons of research, and inquired at a number of places. Deerwood has by far been the most (and nearly only) responsive apartment complex. They checked in with me several times and answered any questions I had promptly. So far the rental process has been a breeze. Now the countdown to moving starts. I am excited to start my lease with Deerwood!

I lived here for a year before reloating back to Dallas. Out of all of the apartment complexes, in all of the cities and states I have lived in, this was by far the BEST. Management was always friendly and helpful, maintenance crew was always quick and thorough and the grounds were very well kept. Apartments have been nicely rennovated and are a reasonable price for the area. I wish i could have stayed longer. RENT HERE!!!

I have been a resident here for about 1.5 years. I have lived in 2 different units and both units have been in great shape with updated flooring and appliances. I have experienced few problems within my unit, but anytime there is a problem it is fixed accordingly and promptly. Last week, Texas experienced a major winter storm. Many were left without power and water for almost a week. Luckily, we never lost power but we did lose water for a few days. When temperatures were safe, Deerwood staff took action quickly

I am a current graduate student, and have lived at Deerwood for 2 years. If I could give this place 10 stars I would. Though the apartment itself is a little older than most they are VERY well maintained, I had absolutely no complaints about appliances. The walls of the apartment are incredibly thick, I never heard my neighbors at all. This complex only has 1&2 bed apartments so its clientele are usually UT Tyler upperclassmen, UT Tyler graduate students, and young professionals. I never felt unsafe here I would be comfortable walking around the complex after dark. Maintenance was incredibly fast

Deerwood apartments are very safe and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of my unit when I walked in for the first time. My only real issues are that my unit is next to the road and the road noise is almost unbearable :( My friends and I can’t even hear each other talk when we go outside to sit on our balcony. My other issue is that the washer and dryer center. There’s only 2 of each and when you do manage to get an open one, you will probably have to do 3 dry cycles to actually get your clothes dry. Other than these issues, the office team has been very nice and courteous from the moment

I lived here for two years, and I absolutely loved living here! There's honestly nothing I can complain about while I lived here. It's pretty quiet, and the office ladies and maintenance team are wonderful. Anytime I had a problem in my apartment, it was quickly addressed the same day! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone!

The office staff is great. They're friendly and very helpful all of the time. It's also a really pretty place to live in the spring, especially when the temperatures are moderate. It also has everything you might need: dishwasher, balcony, walls that aren't too thin, and washer/dryer hookups. It's also very pet friendly, which is awesome.
However:
-The laundry room outside is a bigger inconvenience than you would think. It's not bad, just inconvenient.
-My husband and I are extremely clean and have never in any of our residencies had an issue with roaches, but here we do. The office sprayed

I moved into Deerwood about three months ago and I have nothing but great things to say about it! I attend UT Tyler and was tired of the expensive and noisy on-campus living, but I didn't think I could find somewhere I liked off campus. Deerwood was the perfect choice for me because it is right across the street from UT Tyler so I don't have to worry about leaving extra early for class and it is extremely affordable. This is my first apartment renting and I feel it was the best choice for me. I absolutely love living here! The staff and maintenance are great, and the apartments are gated so I always feel really safe. We're located in a wooded area and it is so beautiful here. The local colleges and hospitals are minutes away so I am never late due to heavy traffic. I would recommend these apartments to everyone!

Love living at Deerwood! The office staff and maintainance guys are the best around. They are very friendly and professional. Quick response to questions and any problems that might arise. Courtesy officer on site. Dog park. Beautiful and quiet. Convienant to shopping and dining out. I have lived here for 9 yrs. and love it! The manager and assistants are always thinking of things for the residents to participate in. Always thinking of how to make our experience here exciting!

Great staff, great place to live. Staff is extremely friendly and professional. Complex is quiet, beautiful and well kept. Requests and questions are handled quickly and efficiently. Deerwood is absolutely the best place to live! I've lived in several different apartment complexes in Tyler & Deerwood is by far the best renting experience I have had yet. The office staff is just awesome. They know me by name & apartment number. They also offer 24-hour maintenance which is great because my A/C went out last summer & they were out fixing my A/C in the middle of the night & stayed until it was fixed. It is also gated which limits the unnecessary traffic. I feel very safe here. Come check out Deerwood Apartments!!!
