Larkspur was my first home away from home and I couldn't have asked for a better experience! From day one, Heather and Ray treated me like family and were always accommodating to my every need. Alas after 6 years, I finally moved out but for no reason other than having to relocate out of state for work. If I ever move back to Sacramento, I know who to call!

Spent the last 4 years at Larkspur, overall a great experience! Felt at home, it was quiet, any maintenance issues were taken care same day/ next day. Heather was the best landlord I’ve ever had. Always willing to work with you with what you had going on. Enjoyed my stay at these apartments. Location is great, close to both freeways. Next to Loehmans plaza with great food. Only left because I moved away from Sacramento.

We've lived here for almost two years and have had such a good experience. Our apartment was beautifully renovated just before we moved in and has two spacious patios for a very fair price. Anytime anything went awry, Heather and Raymundo were always quick to help. They help keep this place family friendly and a great place to live.

After living in the Larkspur Apartments for the last 10 years, I regretfully have to move (into my new house); however, I would like to express my extreme gratitude to Heather and Raymundo for the kindness and great service they provided over those years. They made this place feel like home and were very attentive to the upkeep of property. If it weren't for the new home, I wouldn't leave. I truly appreciate them and would recommend the Larkspur Apartments to anyone that wants to live in a clean safe environment.

Lived here for 4 years. I made it through sac state (5 min drive) and worked downtown the whole time I stayed here. Property manager made everything work smoothly since day one.
The area is always kept clean, parking is not an issue, and Rey the maintenance guy is always there when you need him. Kind, honest, and sincere.
I was always comfortable here. It's calm, quiet, and everyone keeps to themselves. 2 swimming pools, 2 laundry rooms, and very central location to school, shops, and restaurants. Highly recommend for anyone looking.

I lived at this apartment complex for one year when I first moved to this city. Heather was wonderful to work with and helped make the process easier by email exchange and photos since I was moving in from out of town. She was great with communication and addressed my needs as they came up. When I moved out, I had to unexpectedly extend my stay by a few weeks and she was extremely helpful and understanding. She made it happen and worked with me as best as she could to accommodate my needs.

So after 4 years of this great place I decided to move to the beach. I just had to shout out to Heather for being the best property manager ever! She does a great job for both the owners and the tenants and that's not an easy thing to balance. I consider her a good friend and will miss larkspur greatly. Thank you!!

I really enjoyed my tenancy at Larkspur Apartments. I was there from late 2014 until recently, May 2019. I rented a nice 1 bedroom 1 bath on the 2nd floor of on of the buildings in the 2525 complex. I was very satisfied with the apartment. It had little sky lights through the apartment with gave more ambient light than would have otherwise been let in. I also really loved my neighbors. Everyone was friendly and willing to help a hand if needed. In 2017 my partner and I moved into a lovely 2 bed 1.5 bath on the ground floor in one of the back buildings of 2411. I have lived here for years after a divorce and living in my own home in San Francisco.I was worried about living in an apartment--whether it would be quiet enough, etc. Well, I am also sharing the love as someone said in another review!
I really liked Heather, the manager from the moment I met her. There has never been any noise, or any other problem living here. Heather's management is responsible for many nice things here! I haven't had to worry about a thing. Heather is a people person and always fun to run into. You know she has your best interests at heart.

Still a current resident, going on 3 years..
Just wanted to express my appreciation of the friendly staff, great neighbors, and true sense of community.
This is one of the nicer, quieter apartments in the arden arcade area.
I would recommend anyone to check this community out, if they are in need of an apartment.
I will likely stay here until I purchase my first home!

I lived at these apartments for about 1 year and 3 months and in that time I enjoyed living there. All the neighbors were nice and our apartment was great as well. Heather( the manager) was great with any issues at all times We even put in our 30day notice and she let us have an extra 8 days so we could move into our new apartment without having to find somewhere to stash our stuff.I would highly recommend this apartment to new renters, especially if you want to live in the Arden area.
