They make you pay and apply just to view?a home. I have viewed many homes recently without having to apply or pay to apply. I know its not rocket science but what if you did not like the home? You are out $100. It is not the law and covid cannot be an excuse. Again, ive viewed many homes without having to apply. Dont do it. I also have homes on the eastside that have been shown without forcing people to apply first. When we got the place it didn't have the carpets cleaned, there was gum in the carpet even, literal plants going from the gutters and the driveway and all patios were covered in moss and gross slimey grime. The fireplace didn't work either. The only thing they fixed was the fireplace. Then when we left, billed us nearly $400 for random hairs that sweeping and mopping didn't get in corners. As well as stuff on the carpet and urine in the bathrooms and "deep clean of microwave and oven." Which we cleaned. I wouldn't recommend this company. I toured one of the places they had listed and they didn't know anything about the place aside from the price they had it listed for, I had to find everything else out on my own. I tried to set up a few other tours just to be told it had an approved applicant, following them telling me that they just hang up; no have a good day or thanks for calling.

When you are thinking about renting your property there are so many concerns (non-paying tenants, tenants who destroy your home and the list goes on) about what can happen to your investment. We found McNally Management and we couldn't have been happier. They are not the cheapest company, but when meeting with other companies we found them to be extremely competitive. Great company to use for managing your rentals. They have managed my apartment building for years and it has been great. Keep in mind when reading the reviews, many of the negative ones are because they are enforcing the rules. Rules and contracts are there for a reason, to protect everyone involved...I'd be concerned if they didn't have bad reviews.

I inherited a property in Gig Harbor many years ago. Since I'm out of state I've always needed an excellent local property manager. The first 2-3 managers I had may have started out well, but then got sloppy, and I didn't know where to turn. About 9 years ago, luckily, I found McNally, and I have only positive experiences with everybody on their team. I wish I had read the YELP reviews before losing 80.00 dollars with these guys. After I paid the background check fee, they never returned my emails or calls. Never answered questions about the utility bills of the rental I was interested in. Actually, a very rude associated once replied that I should check with the electricity company directly. Really? Are they going to tell me what is the monthly bill of the current tenant?? It was pathetic.

Best rental experience ever! We have moved a lot and have delta with numerous property management teams and by far these guys were the best. Never had a problem with getting things fixed and they always answered the phone. When moving they gave us a great review. I wish all property managements were as great as this one. Hated to leave.

We were the second people to apply on our property, we paid the full application and deposit with a money order, which Steve recmomended for faster reimbursement if we did not get the property.
We applied on Monday, I knew by Wednesday that the first applicant got it. They refunded me in full and mailed my check out promptly.
I would definitely have no issues as a renter applying with McNalley in the future and had a great overall experience, even though we didn

Never available when you need them, terrible customer service and all around rude and incapable staff. They take their time responding to questions...the list goes on and on... it's been such a hassle at this point I would never do business with them again and would only hope others may read this so they can avoid this company AT ALL COSTS!

I live in Dallas Texas and was coming up to see a rental on the water..I scheduled 2 months in advance since they have not been able to rent it out. Melissa told me that ill meet you at 12 noon. I called when I landed and found out that They cant show it to me till after 230.they did not call me with the news that the owners were staying there for the weekend. they told me that the owners friends were there for a month till there house gets fixed...how did I find this out...I talked to the owners ...So basically they lied....My flight was at 430 pm..so the whole thing was for nothing ..plane ticket

Exactly 17 days ago I decided to apply to McNally (after already having a bad run in with them in January!) and ended up getting suckered into an extra application fee because my dependent is over 18, then denied for my dependent's credit.
Paid the $110 application fee and an $800 holding deposit 15 days ago, promised a refund of my deposit 10 days ago, still no refund.
I received a phone call from McNally today, I'm told "they thought someone had called me". She promptly confirmed I have been denied for reasons which leave me questioning their knowledge of tenant

Do NOT use McNally Management. Once you sign the lease they will do nothing to help you. I had ants and it tooks months and numerous phone calls to get an exterminator. They do NOT communicate well at all. They don't return phone calls. Melissa will not go out of her way to accomodate your needs. They promised things in my contract that they have not fulfilled.
