I lived here with my girlfriend from March 2020 to the end of November 2021. Despite never being a formal tenant (not listed on the lease), the leasing office contacted me when "trying" to reach my girlfriend.
While living there I saw at least 4 tenants in our building come and go, likely for the same reasons I'll mention shortly.
Cockroaches were a common sight in the kitchen and occasional throughout the rest of the apartment in the beginning but were easily kept at bay with traps and sterilizers by the end. Bed bugs arrived shortly after another tenant in August 2020 and after reporting it

Hickory Trace Apartments are dated, and the upkeep is terrible !!! They have a sewer issue that has not been taking care of in over 5 months. My sister apartment smells like rotten sewer all the time!!!! The carpet on the inside of the buildings are heavy soiled and has a terrible odor, it has been reported so many times!!! The unprofessional office girl had the nerve to tell my sister that they only shampoo the carpet every four years!!!! Their sick and nasty!!! I have taken photos in the buildings and apartments and turned it into our family lawyer!!! If you could move any where else do so!!

This place is horrible! I wouldn’t won’t my worst enemy to stay in these apartments they do have problems with bed bugs!!!! These apartments need to be knocked down And remodeled they are horrible don’t move in these apartments you will be so unhappy and can’t wait for your lease to be up I threw all my stuff away and got new everything because the bed bugs so bad and got the hell up out of these apartments don’t do it don’t even waste your time turn into the parking lot I’m telling y’all from experience you will regretting don’t do it! This place needs to be shut down immediately

This is by far the worst apartment complex I have ever visited. My boyfriend lives here so I am here occasionally. I PERSONALLY have walked out to see homeless men sleeping in hallways of the apartment building multiple times. I have woken up in the middle of the night to the sound of someone turning the front door knob. There was a man who would yell outside every single night. I can hear the people above me every night. If you’re looking for a safe place to stay- this is not it. We’ve had bugs- maintenance came to spray and they seem to be gone. Our carbon monoxide alarm went off every time

My daughter lives in that apartment building and had to pay 600 dollars to get bed bug treatments just so they can come right back so obviously someone has them in the building so it should be the properties responsibility to treat these apartments!! Sense you want to respond that's a lie my daughter was told there is another apartment getting treated in her building do not come on here and cover nothing up.

I’ve lived in this apartment on and off. When I say this apartment not how it use to be when I first came in 2012. We get new people in the office it feels like when you get use to someone you come and it’s a new manager. Before the winter begin in 2018 I test my heater it didn’t work. I needed a new furnace. Instead of replacing it they sent contractors to trick it to start. 4 hours later it was out again temperatures started to drop heat still not working. Finally I was done being nice and went to Breckenridge Health Department. The next day he gave them a violation on Tuesday by Friday

*Update - My apartment has smells like a literal sewer for the past MONTH. I have tried to contact and get something done at least 6 times. Called the "emergency" line twice. No one has contacted me. This smells is physically nauseating it is so strong. There is an open pipe in the basement under my unit where the smell is spewing out from. There is no way this is healthy to be breathing in. This place needs to be shut down.
It has been about 3 weeks without a working AC unit and a 4 year old living here. It was well over 90° today with a real feel temp of even higher. Management

They didn't come fix my ceiling after calling several times and leaving several messages. Then my packages will go to their office instead of to my door and they wouldn't even call to tell me I had a package waiting for me I will have to do the run around. They didn't fix my kitchen sink and 9/10 they gonna take deposit money from me because of something they didn't fix the ceiling is horrible and I have small children that's always sick due to the moldy ceiling in the bathroom my son asthma has gotten worse oh how a lawyer would love this case. Good thing I'm moving Saturday but still gonna give
