If I could give this place zero stars I would this place went downhill I hate going outside to my car when there are guys outside smoking weed in public making remarks. It's embarrassing to have people over knowing we have neighbors that do this. We've lived here for almost 4 years the first 2 years were great never had any problems when management changed things were horrible our rent went up almost every year? We are not dirty people and we noticed roaches in our apt?! It's disgusting. Not to mention the management takes forever to get back to you about things. If you're planning

I try to take apartment reviews with a grain of salt because I know most people are not leaving reviews unless something happened. I want this review to be as informational as possible rather than bashing the NOVO. We moved into this apartment the first week of COVID, so understandably everything was chaotic. The apartments were pricey, but we were fine with it because they seemed newly renovated and nice. Called the leasing office and scheduled a tour. Someone from the leasing office named Daisy picked up and confirmed our tour appointment, not once but twice! On the day of, we drove to our appointment to find out that they were closed for the rest of the weekend. They didn't let us know prior. We live pretty far so it was a complete waste of our time to drive an hour just to find out they were closed.
Bad management and bad communication. Won't be renting from here because of that. If you want to schedule an appointment, really make sure they're gonna be there.

First I want to say that With every apartment I lived in there's always been some issues, this one is no different. Is it perfect no but it's better than the other ones around the area. I am extremely grateful to Daisy the business manager ever since she took over the property this building has changed for the better. Most importantly this past year with covid financial hardship really hit and Daisy patiently worked with me and even helped me get financial assistance through LA County.

This is the worst apartment that we had to deal with. After renting this apartment for one year, they started raise my rental rate by $500 dollars extra monthly. And, they gave me such short noticed, I was forced to pay extra $500 dollar increase for a year of contract, if not they were going to charge me $700 extra month to month rental. The worst apartment management that we had to deal with and so glad we finally moved out the apartment.

My family and I recently moved into this Apartment 15 months ago. The area is really nice and there are stores nearby. Staff has been helpful. In particular Daisy Woods, she is very professional, yet welcoming and when we require assistance she follows up on it in a timely fashion. During the Covid Epidemic, I also noticed Novo had some community events whereby working alongside Apartment Life, this was definitely a great idea, hopefully it continues. In addition, giveaways also was done for the residents during this difficult time, was a great gesture.

So. This is a tough one to rate.

I've been apartment living for almost 2 decades now, and I'm pretty used to the shortcomings of apartment life. One of them is ALWAYS management. I can't imagine how difficult it is to attend to the needs of every resident in an entire community, BUT it's their job.
When I first moved in there was a great manager, but she was only around for maybe a few months, before she moved up up and away. After that I believe I saw a turn around of about 4 managers

When I first moved in there was a lot of problems. For example, the pool was under reconstruction took them forever to fix, roaches were all over the trash area and outdoor my house. The dish washer would leak constantly. They were nice to come out a couple times but wouldn't replace anything, it remained broken. A lot of the kids in the community are in gangs. They sent out a notice about a tenant being sexually assaulted. Extremely unsafe environment

I rented an apartment from them at the Novo Apartment Complex. The absolute worst renting experience ever. They aren't responsive. The manager was Veronica, now it's a lady named Cheyenne. She's extremely rude and unprofessional. The apartments kitchen appliances were horrid and never fixed properly during my entire stay. We have emailed and called multiple times through the course of weeks and not a single person ever picks up the phone, or returns our calls, or returns our emails!!!!
All we want is a tour, and their website says by appointment only.
I guess they don't want new residents because apparently nobody is ever working or not doing their jobs.

The management at novo was so incredibly helpful throughout our move in, especially Daisy in the front office. Any questions, concerns, etc were answered and they helped guide us in the process of our first apartment. Without this team I don't think we could have done it! Maintenance was also extremely helpful and punctual anytime we had even the slightest problems. This is a great apartment home complex and we would recommend it to not only first time renters but anyone searching around for a helpful and genuine place to live.

First moving in two years ago we were excited about the new renovations. The pool took over a year to complete. the pavement/parking lots were destroyed after they were finished last year making everyone have to park across the street in a bumpy dirt parking lot where there are rocks, and glass! None of our storages in our car ports were remodeled either! Laundry room is a total mess fully equipped with washers and dryers that do not fully wash or dry. There's only a few washers and dryers and people have the audacity to take up the majority of them making no room for others to wash or

This place is too expensive. Some tenants are rude, but you will get that anywhere you live. The kids will be kids. With not much for them to do here. This place could use a good tenting to get rid of all the bugs. And maintenance needs to get their work orders done. Takes 4/months to get a drawer fixed. If you don't have to move here I wouldn't.
