Very luxurious furnished apartments. I really appreciated the thick layer of concrete between floors, as it keeps the insides of the apartments very quiet from any noise. The furnished apartments are well-decorated and come with a wonderful selection of kitchen tools and small appliances. The staff and community is very friendly! I had to stay in Carson City for a short 3-month trip, and if you're in a position similar to mine, you will have no regrets renting the furnished apartments from Villas At Dolphin Bay!(:

My boyfriend moved in, I moved from MO to start a new life. Everything for him qualified to live there. Since I just moved to the area I did not qualify. A note was placed in "his" apartment door stating that I did not meet the qualifications to live there. A week later they called us to inform us they would override the rules for us. This caused much stress. The apartment is not luxury, just a standard 1 bedroom. The community is not gated because the gates are always opened. I moved to Carson City from New Jersey in 2008 when Dolphin Bay first opened. I have lived in a 2 bedroom, then a 1 bedroom and now into another 2 bedroom. The original complex manager, Shannon is now a regional manager for the company and she was and still is great. The current building manager, Diana, is also a dream. She is extremely attentive and responsive, keeps the complex clean and in great shape. Relatively quiet complex. Noisy tenants move in but never seem to stay long. Numerous long time tenants I continue to see over the years. Luxury complex at competitive rents. I am not going anywhere

We have lived here for five and a half. During that time, we have seen excellent improvement in the general care of the property and the attitudes of the the staff. It is a delight to be here. The maintemance staff, Adam and JD are most helpful to my brother and me. We are in our eighties and they and Jenniy and Diana are especially gracious and helpful while ensuring that the properties are kept clean and safe.

Just waiting for my carpets to get cleaned so I can be done with this place. The carpet cleaner was telling me that his last customer here (within the last two weeks) also moved out because of the management. Management at the apartment level is extremely poor and discretionary, cannot speak for upper level management. Customer service is not a strength to say the least. Maintenance, however, is great!

Not luxury apartments but OK. Pricey for what you get. I have been here a year and I have been told that guests cannot park inside the gates (even received a notice when a friend was here for 15 minutes to help carry things to the apartment). Guests are supposed to park on the street but it is inconvenient as they have no way of getting in unless a tenant walks down to let them in as it is stated that people cannot walk up to the drive--up gate. Management does not respond to letters or emails.

Lived here for four months and it has been the worst experience of "upscale luxury living" The office management is the most disgusting thing i have ever seen. All they do is leave notes on your doors about anything and everything you do, when we moved into the dolphin bay apartments they did not go over any rules nor told us of any that were in the lease, they will post notes on your door threating you with fines over things they never informed you about. Do not waste your time or money at these apartments your family deservers way better then what this place claims to offer.

Rent too high for what you get. Not 'luxury' in ANY sense of the word. I can find same quality apt in Chicago for 2/3 of the price. Built 90's and not updated since. Insulation / sound proofing horrible. You hear everything, including neighbor downstairs. My then downstairs neighbor smoked pot. I'd wake up in middle of night smelling and inhaling that crap. Manager did nothing. Claimed, 'well it's legal in NV now'. Sorry, but you can have lease addendum stating that renters can't engage in behavior illegal at federal level as other apt complexes

I would have to say that the Dolphin was just an OK place. I would not say Luxury Apartments however. It was more convenient and clean than anything. The complex, as most are, was plagued with normal maintenance issues, but overall was not that bad, and certainly not an issue for me. The on-site manager was also good and I enjoyed chatting with him whenever we bumped into each other.

I lived at dolphin bay for a year and we loved it there, Diana was very accommodating and helpful. The surroundings are well maintained and we felt secured living there as their gate closes automatically. The only reason why we moved was because of a new job opportunity but yes! I will definitely recommend this place. Thank you Diana for going above and beyond when you took care of our son coz we missed the details of his school schedule. We appreciate your patience! I moved in to these wonderful apartments about a 3 week ago. Diana and Samatha (Office staff) are very welcoming and friendly. After moving 2000 miles it was refreshing to feel that I am home. Cody(maintenance) works super hard, he could use another worker. The pictures online do not do Villa at Dolphin Bay justice. They are also very quiet and I appreciate that it is a gated community I am so grateful that I moved here !

"Fully furnished" apartment was missing a lot of key kitchen supplies (i.e. Baking sheets, knives, cutting board, pans etc.). The rugs were dirty upon arriving and I was charged a rug cleaning fee upon moving out (after not being provided a vacuum for a 13 week stay). I was also surprised after moving to Bakersfield to learn how I was being ripped off in terms of price. $2000 for a one bed room apartment! I pay less than that in Downtown Chicago!
