We had heard rave reviews about their Jingle 12 events. Made a reservation in the middle of the afternoon for a large group. The unfortunate thing was the weather was really warm that day and we were cooped up in the ski lodge. There were a million flies flying around it was disgusting. There was no way to get rid of them. According to the server it was normal.
Our server was great, very attentive. Our food came out pretty quickly. The food was mediocre. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich that look like a Purdue slice chicken flattened with barbecue sauce splattered on it or some sort of sauce

Great venue. We have a place down the street and this was our first time going to this restaurant over the years. I ordered the warm sweet potato biscuits and county ham to start. Biscuits were cold, burnt, dry. Ham did not appear to be country ham, but cold cuts out of the fridge. I was disappointed with my order so did not order anything else for dinner. Wife liked her fries and fried oysters.

Our waitress Hallie was awesome. Dinner was great. All fresh tasting. I really liked the roasted cauliflower. The sesame noodle were served cold; I enjoyed them, my husband not so much. Hallie brought us a little more whipped cream for our bread pudding for the finishing touch. Will have to remember this place for our next visit to the Outer Banks

First time coming here, and I was very let down. The bartenders were clearly drunk and the service was very inconsistent. Numerous individuals were beyond intoxicated and were allowed to order additional drinks. All of the girls that we were with felt uncomfortable here because they were hit on by drunks constantly. I hoped for better, but the only hope for this place would be Jon Taffer.

Not really sure where all these people ate because I must've been at the wrong place. Lucky 12 tavern is not appropriate, YUCKY 12 yacken is much more fitting. Food was terrible for the price you pay, could've gotten the same thing for 8 bucks at Hardee's. Drinks are not the best and seem watered down. I seriously thought I was in dirty dicks the way the waitress treated us, the manager was a lot worse. If you've got the time and patience's, come here, if not take the extra time and find somewhere else. One of the worst places I've been to in the outer banks.

We stopped at Lucky 12 last night for dinner and we're glad we did!
The meals were hot, fresh and delicious! We had a cheesesteak, fish and chips and the oysters and shrimp. The fries were some of the best we've ever had. The service was outstanding as well. The server kept checking on us to see if we needed anything else and cleared dishes when we were done.
Thanks for a great experience at the beach!

Food was very good. I got "The Tim" sandwich which was incredible. Stuffed with beef and delicious marinara sauce. My daughter's spinach salad was huge and she raved about the hot bacon dressing. My other daughter got the crab cakes which she ate but wasn't overly enthused about but she loved the potato cakes as a side. The only disappointment was the scallops and shrimp my husband got. They tasted fine but a little small for the price. We didn't get pizza but we saw it and it looked like it would be good.

Lucky 12 Tavern is a wonderful place to stop for a bite, a quick drink, or a full meal. Management (Mark) has taken great pains to see that all guests are Covid safe and comfortable. State rules are difficult but adhered to. The establishment is squeaky clean and seating is properly spaced.
Service at Lucky 12 is prompt, attentive and I found the food to be great. I really enjoyed the atmosphere at the tavern. There are multiple screens to watch sports or other programming. Mark has an impressive collection of vintage signage to add interest and brighten the decor.

Overall **** 3.75 from me so a very solid 4 Stars overall. Lucky 12 is small, casual place with good food, friendly, competent service that we thoroughly enjoyed and look forward returning to.
Setting **** Lucky 12 seems like a biker, dive bar and country bar all mixed together with some 50's diner thrown in for good measure. It is an unassuming, very casual place where shorts and sleeveless shirts are welcome. I do want to stress though that it was clean and well kept.
It was raining the day we went but there is a great fenced in outside area with a covered bar and some seating as well
