Would not recommend this place. We stayed till our lease was up but counted the days till we could go elsewhere. On the surface they look good and staff is friendly until you sign your lease, then good luck.There was a leak in the hallway the whole time we lived there. Their answer was to put a bucket there. Lost money in laundry equipment several times. We had twelve families per laundry room, half the time only one of the two washers/dryers worked. They didn't do anything about the people breaking the rules with very large, mean dogs. Also parking lot is horrible. When it rains you cannot see

I was going to check this place out, but after reading these reviews. I don't think so. And to bribe the tenants into leaving a 5 star review shows lack of moral responsibility. Maybe change the way you handle the property and treat your tenants, then you will get 5 star reviews without asking. Reading these comments are just sad. I can't even take the 5 star ratings seriously. Bottom line...DO BETTER

I have lived here for 6 months now. I am very happy with how quiet and clean the property is. Before I moved in my unit had been remodeled. The floor plan works well for me. All new appliances, paint and floors. There is also a gym at the club house. When i moved in that was not something i thought i would be using. But, it is really convenient to walk over before work and start my day off! They have treadmills, ellipticals and weight machines. Come summer the pool will be on my list as well. Lastly the office staff has been great!! No issues at all.

Balcony has been a death trap for months. Reported to maintenance several times and absolutely no response. Screws are coming undone, boards are coming apart. Doors to complex are not secured half the time. They don't salt anything in the winter in the parking lot so people get stuck on the ice. But sure there's a pool. Just don't stand on your balcony.

Absolute worse place to live. Mold, rats, bats. They sell you the image of "newly renovated". Nothing is "renovated", it's simply covered up with dry wall and "new carpet". I have mold everywhere in my apartment, under the carpet, in my kitchen cabinets, all over the AC unit. Have contacted the health department, the village of grayslake. Multiple units have put in multiple complaints. To top it off management is even worse. They could care less about anything that goes on in your home. Rude and unprofessional. Zero sense of urgency to get any repairs needed done. I'm currently writing this because

I got an email earlier today saying that if I bring them proof that I left a 5 star review they'd give me a "Free gift" of workout gear. The entire tenant list was notified telling us that if we show them we left them a 5 star review they'll give us a gift.

Nice facilities, the amenities are truly great, but if you don't want to use all of them you will be vastly overpaying as the units themselves don't seem worth it.
Requests to deal with building issues seem to be handled, though I personally don't have that many.

How do you explain not answering multiple attempts to reach your office about a rodent and insect problem in on of your units? No one deserves to live under such disgusting conditions and I doubt that is the… reputation you want to hold. Do better for the people who are paying their hard earned money to live there. ITS A PRIVILEGE TO HAVE PEOPLE LEASE WITH YOUR OFFICE not the other way around. And for $1300/month THEY have to dispose of dead mice every time they come home from work?? You should be ashamed of yourselves

Definitely not a place you should rent from! I only gave them 2 stars because when I initially moved here in 2014 I was renting from a private owner and had a better experience. They change management companies every year. The website is often intermittently shut down with no advance notice, they have given away my garage space even though I have had it since 2014 so they get double payments for spaces and the maintenance and upkeep of the property on the 1800 side is awful. We had construction in our hallway that took close to 6 months to complete, we were living in a mess! Landscaping is terrible

So I will start this post by stating that we just moved in to this apartment so all of what I have noticed has been with the renting/moving in and preparation process. I will start by saying that every time my husband and I have walked into the leasing office we are greeted with a friendly smile and a “hello” by everyone there. This was a drastic… change from where we lived prior. My husband and I were so pleased to end up working with Rosa in the office. She was FANTASTIC! I have rented here for about a year and I have had a great experience. My neighbors are very friendly, the staff is always helpful and cheerful. I have had very few issues, but if I ever have one, the maintenance team is prompt and efficient. Management changed hands this year and it was a seamless process. My kids enjoyed the pool all summer long and the beautiful park. This has been a great home for us the past year and I plan to stay for a while.

I've been a resident since 2012 and love everything about Grays Pointe! Ideal location, exceptional service from all staff, wonderful neighbors ~ what's not to love? Being a single senior woman, safety is a high priority. I feel very comfortable going for a late night walk and have never encountered any situation that gave me cause for alarm. The… Property Manager (Lisa) and her staff are always welcoming and responsive to any matters or questions. Likewise, the Maintenance staff respond quickly to any work requests. They know what they're doing and are always professional & courteous
