If you miss Thai food, definitely get this! I highly recommend calling in your order and picking it up before the dinner rush cuz you're going to wait in a long line to order + waiting to get your food. We called in and saved about 30 minutes. We ordered their famous pork sliders, but honestly, we could've gone without them. We ordered pretty much everything else on the menu and it didn't miss! It def hit the spot since we pretty much ate Hawaiian food most of our trip, so having Thai food was a nice change :)

Disappointed.....I followed yelp and people say their Pat Thai is really good and authentic.. far from the truth. They use ketchup on their Pat Thai (modified Pat Thai for Americans).
Overpriced for a food truck? Sure but it is Hawaii and things are getting more expensive with this crazy inflation. At least they give you enough portion.
As long as you are not looking for Authentic Thai, this place is okay. Maybe other items are good and authentic? Will never know.

Delicious enjoyable Thai food made by Thai people. They have several locations so make sure to confirm location when ordering on the phone. We had drunken noodles on the day we arrived in Hawaii and returned to the other location for more drunken noodles on the day of departure, one week later. Nothing in the world compares to Thai foods, though I am a biased Thai person!

3 small fish tacos costed $20.83. More expensive than the nearby restaurant. Each taco has a small thin shell, 1 pinky sized grilled fish stick tasted dry and woody, then staffed with fresh shredded cabbage. Some may have a pinch of cilantro.
When I paid, the young woman said it was $15, then immediately changed to 17.95 and charged about 15% tips for the take out order.

I should start by saying: the wait staff was fine and I'm grateful they were open (many places in this little food truck cluster were closed).
That said, it was very meh food. Everything was cooked well (noodles not over cooked, deep fried items fried well). But it didn't have a great amount of flavor other than salty. As Opal from Opal Thai (Oahu) says: Thai food with no heat is Chinese food. This was definitely a 1:5 on the heat scale (and they did not ask if we'd like heat). No prik nam pla; just sambal, which changed the flavor of the dishes.

This is not a review about the food. The food is good and I've come to this branch to order and sit outside in the courtyard to eat since this is a takeout only spot.
When we entered the restaurant we noticed some customers; a woman and her 2 kids, all 3 of them maskless and ordering food.
When the order taker came to take our order, she was not wearing a mask either. We asked her why and he said that the customers were vaccinated and if you are, there is no need for masks. I'm going to safely assume that the order taker is not an epidemiologist but her confidence in declaring this

Well I'd love to try the truck but the girl working it must have lost her aloha way.. rude, ignored me, I simply asked her how late she was opened till and she wanted to act like a punk. I'm here for a little over a week, and she could have made some good money from me, but not with that attitude. Too many options to settle for that ugliness. We loved this food truck in Kihei, Maui! It has a great location on the main toad just a 2-3 minute walk from Kameole I Beach. Three people are friendly and there are some great food truck choices. The wings were awesome as were the tacos. If you're super lucky, Gus's Shaved Ice will be parked right next to Aloha Thai Fusion another great example of Hawaiian food truck cuisine. Parking on street is easy. Definitely should go!

The one time Pad Thai is not too basic - this place is incredible.
We ordered the sampler platter (probably top-4 spring rolls OFT), pad thai shrimp, red curry chicken.
Spice level is unadjusted (you order 6, you get 6), and the food is awesome.
The self-proclamations on the menu seem suspect, but for once, literally for once, they are not. Easily top 5 meals we've had on Maui, and we've eaten all a ton of places at all price levels. Don't hesitate!

First Maui meal (day 4 in quarantine). Really good food! Wished it was a bit warmer when it got delivered as it's less than a mile from where we live but nonetheless, will be going back once out of lockdown. Few things we will get again, but also trying new ones until the menu has been completely checked off! Delivered thru Hopper Maui.
