I believe you will love the changes we have made in our 99 year old building. The Palmer's Cafe has been in business for over 50 years and it has always been the best breakfast in Bend, Oregon and with outstanding lunch menu but breakfast is serve all day!
We are only using our breakfast menu to start, plus outdoor seating and great cocktails! Palmer's has amazing food but their daily specials are well worth your time to check them out, plus best coffee, great cocktails and outside seating! Even though we've been serving food for over 50 years, Palmer's is still one of Bend's best kept secrets.

Six of us went for late breakfast to Palmers. All of us were satisfied with our good service by Ashley, and another gentleman who checked on our coffees, etc. Mimosas and Bloody Marys are available for a festive brunch. It's always busy (a good sign). I ordered the surf crab and grit cakes with poached eggs on top. Interesting and very tasty. I think they could use one more person, as Ashley was very rushed - taking care of quite a few tables. We will definitely return.

My group of friends meet here weekly for breakfast. It's like the cafe you stopped at while traveling.
Large portions of really good breakfast items done the way you like it.
Staff is great. Take good care of a bunch of (7) old guys. Some of groups favorites. Cinnamon French toast-biscuits and gravy- Palmer scramble- Denver omelette
Egg dishes come with potatoes meat and toast

Came for brunch on a Saturday morning. The wait was around 30 minutes for two of us and the staff seemed to be accommodating all parties efficiently. The food was great but the service was just okay. It could be because we came at a busy time. I would suggest avoiding the iced coffee as it was too watery for my taste. Overall, a great brunch experience with a cozy atmosphere.

This place never disappoints. We could eat here every weekend if our waistlines could afford it...the biscuits and gravy is always my go to!! My mom is from the south and she made this all the time growing up, definitely reminds me of hers!!!! The biscuits are something else....So so good. If you're in Bend, Palmers is an absolute must. The owner and staff are so incredibly friendly. Makes the experience that much better!!

I haven't been to Palmer's in over 20 years. We decided to give it a go after the culmination of the year long remodeling project. The Bloody Mary was the redeeming factor, it was well made and and had nice olives. The eggs Benedict was definitely subpar. The hollandaise was super tangy and the English muffin also tasted off. We have such great bread options in Bend, why not source the muffins locally? It would completely up the game. The potatoes were boiled and thrown on the griddle haphazardly, flavorless and cold. My person had the country fried steak, which was also cold and disappointing

One of the best brunches I have had in a long time. The blueberry pancake was so fluffy and delicious and the Local (egg white omlette) was amazing. They are so friendly and the service was amazing. Very tolerant of our little girl who is 3 and can be a little energetic. I look forward to coming back and trying the other amazing things on the menu.

I'm loving the Bend vibe here! Haven't been in? What's wrong with your? I'm kicking myself for not visiting sooner. The staff are sweet and fast-fast-fast! The food is fantastic and abundant. We were stuffed from delightful pancakes and fruit. The remodel is darling and so clean! Love it! Ok, I have to add... these folks use legit fabric napkins. Awww. Parking can be tight so consider a slight walk from there nearby parking lots. Don't dawdle; this place has them lining up in the morning. Get in early. I had the honor of visiting with the owner. He is a gem! He has overcome

Excellent experience. First time. Could have used more salt but I appreciate the fact that I had to add instead of it being over seasoned
AND they are cordial to veterans unlike another local place. Look at reviews. Sand something. Don’t go to that place.
I know you are busy but you should respond to your reviewers. It’s a big deal

So many tables open, atleast 12 of us lined outside waiting for a table, not a single staff came out to tell us what is going on. I know they are short staffed but Atleast get us seated or inform us. Food wasn't all that great, It's Shari's standard. Would not recommend nor will come back here. By the way, parking is also a problem.

Glad we came back!! We use to love Palmers but stopped going when the new guy from Palm Springs took over the restaurant a couple years ago. That fool is gone and Dave is running the restaurant himself now and has brought back the best of the older cooks to get it right again. Service was great. Friendly and helpful. Food was great as well. Omelet with stuffing falling out. Gravy that actually has flavor. Good selection for everyone. The owner is exceptionally polite and grateful. To everyone, give them a try again. As good as they use to be!!

The steak was good, crab omelette was good, and the french toast was EXTREMELY good. The grits were among the best I've ever had, and whatever sauce they put on the steak was great too. We ordered and the food came out within 10 minutes. Not saying you should expect it to be that fast, but ours was crazy fast. Service staff was very kind and attentive and we never had an empty drink at any time. This is as close to a 5 star brunch place as any could hope to be.

Driving around while there's a bunch of snow on the ground definitely has its hazards but the positive is that the place here is all but empty. The lot was practically empty and I just walked in where I was the second table. For some reason on this trip I wanted a great breakfast burrito and Palmer's came up on the search.
The number 16 was just as described: huge, crammed with meats, potatoes and had three huge tubs of guac, sour cream and salsa. The tortilla was toasted and a little crumbly. I basically dunked my burrito into each tub before eating it-and there was no one there to

What this restaurant is: A local cafe with good food and charm. The service is always good and friendly. There are lots of tables and if you come early you'll have no wait. Limited parking so their parking lot may fill up before the cafe does, but there is more parking nearby. Coffee is good and the wait for the food isn't long at all. The prices are typical for Bend $10-$15 and they now serve some alcoholic beverages like Bloody Mary's and mimosas.
What this cafe is not: a fancy, touristy or trendy restaurant. It is Also not open for dinner. It's Open Just from 7

The breakfast selections at Palmer's are great, and the portions are fantastic! This isn't one of the most popular spots in Bend, but that's what makes it a fantastic place to go - there usually isn't much of a wait to get in.
The servers are very friendly, and always have great suggestions to make. As far as menu items go, you can't go wrong with the daily special. On this visit, I had the Mt. Bachelor Omelet, which was amazing - the Portobello mushrooms and Swiss cheese really made it flavorful. As a side, I opted for the Swedish pancakes, which were done to perfection

I can only suggest you look at pictures of "Breakfasts Past" and certainly not from me. My weakness for gobbling down good food got the better of me. For shame.
The weak coffee was their Achilles heel. It tasted like brown water. But they kept it coming!
Then there were the 10% discount coupons for "next time". Mr. B said we're coming back, especially after he ate. He would not allow me to donate them to the locals.
It has a divey outside, and is associated with an even more so divey, sad motel by the same name. And the parking was horrid.
But then....
