This place is at best sub par. Chips were gross, salsa was nasty and way to much chili powder. And the entrees were not good . Maybe this is good food in central Oregon, but was probably the worst Mexican food I've ever had. There was 5 of us and know one finished even half there food. Wouldn't recommend. Customer service was fine and no complaints there.

My wife and I just drove from Salem 2 and a half hours just to eat here. That should say how good this place is, but incase it doesn't.... The service is friendly, the food is served quickly and tastes very fresh. Prices are on par with other similar restaurants but the flavor goes above and beyond.

El Rodeo has the best food, but at my last visit I was overcharged by $20. My card should’ve been charged $28 with the tip, but I was charged $48. I called the restaurant several times and kept being told a manager wasn’t there so they couldn’t do anything. I also messaged through Facebook messenger and got no response. Mistakes can happen but make it right!

I was there today picking up lunch for myself and one of the residents. I walked in and the tree was absolutely so beautiful that I had to post it on Facebook today. I will say that I absolutely love the food there and they have always been so generous to our facility with events that we have. I love the atmosphere also. The residents at the assisted facility love walking over there and having lunch sometimes and the service is always so great. Everything on the menu is wonderful and the margaritas are awesome. I highly recommend them.

Went in for a quick margarita and meal for the little one. What a pleasant experience! The different sections/rooms of the restaurant have different themes and we loved the ambiance. Our server was very fast and friendly. The margarita was fantastic! Chips and salsa came and we were not disappointed- smokey salsa and fresh chips. 😋 We ended up all eating some of the kids quesadilla, rice and beans. We’ll definitely be back for more.

El Rodeo use to be our favorite place. We came here for lunch recently and the receptionist wasn't friendly and said - see if you can find a table in the bar. We had the lunch portions which were still $12-$13 and they barely put any chicken mole on. If you get a burrito the portion seems larger. The service was okay. They also had a big note that they would not refill anything without a charge for the chips or the salsa. Their pricing is higher than it was before. It doesnt seem the same committment to great food. I do like their mole sauce.

Ordered the parillada for takeout. Cost 48 dollars left a tip. It was so not worth the money. The serving was small it came with a whopping 4 shrimp maybe half a chicken breast and pork chop, which was dry and bland. The veggies weren't cooked well. And they didn't give us any silverware. Very disappointing for the money spent.

I just finished a veggie burrito at El Rodeo. Best I've ever had! Loaded with mushrooms, peppers and celery as well as the standard black beans, rice and cheese, and topped with a generous helping of guacamole. The sun screen filtered just the right amount of sunlight to make our outdoor dining experience comfortable. Only downside is the heavy traffic on 3rd.

We were a group of 7. So, the wait was a little longer for our large group but we found it well worth it. The food was delicious and fresh tasting. Price is a great value. The El Rodeo steak is absolutely delicious.. like butter! A must have! Great price margaritas!! I found the cheese dip a lil watery but besides that everything was spot on. We would definitely recommend and return!

El Rodeo is like family! The food, the atmosphere, the great folks.
We were there for our anniversary. Not only because they were open outdoors, but we love celebrating events with our friends.
One of the… most fun things was the interaction with people! We were socially distanced. But because we were eating outdoors we could see each other’s faces and chat between bites.
Looking forward to El Rodeo opening again!!
